Courtyard (South)

[Alef]

Alef entered the courtyard quietly, a calm expression on her face as she looked around. It felt as though it had been forever since she had last spoken with someone. Taking a minute, she stopped under a nearby tree. Seeing a few people around, she wondered if they would mind too terribly if she stopped to speak with them. It wasn't often that she would start a conversation with people, but now was one of the exceptions where she was too bored to really feel like staying off to the side. Shrugging a bit, she began walking towards them. The worst that could happen would be for her to be ignored. If such an event where to occur, she would continue her boring walk elsewhere.

That's when it hit her. "Oh okay, I get it now! You're special!" No, she didn't mean special ed. Just special in general. She pulled out one of her books and a sketchpad she had, and opened to a page in the book and showed it to him. She brought it upon herself to try and understand as much as she couldn't about the races of this world and the two next so she could more easily gravitate understanding as well as a good self-defense. "I thought you were acting a little strangely." she giggled again. "Is that why people ignore or avoid you?" She looked as a white-haired girl in dark clothing approached them and waved a little.

He looked to her and he laughed just alittle smiling as he watched her " no " he sead as he watched her thinking some as he looked to her. he pulled his shirt back some. showing the mark on his chest and the fact that he looked starved " this is why people stay away from me. its a angelic marking that meens i was acused of murder " he sead as he stood there " i killed a angle, a crime of the hevens, and forthat i was sent to earth " he sead watched her he loved hearing the giggle come from her. but he was afrade that his showing the mark on his chest would make her not wont to be around him anymore " i didnt murder anyone thow." he sead as he stood thereleting his shirt fall bacl like it had before reting over his body alittle but showing his chest and stomch. He kept his eye on her and the light smile shining on her softly

"Oh I already saw that earlier," She blinked before turning the page in her book, skimming for it. "It's in here, not you of course, but things." She couldn't believe it, somehow, somewway without her notice or approval she found she already trusted this guy, which could be either very good or very bad depending. He seemed genuine enough and she knew she really shouldn't judge. Quite a few of the books she carried couldn't be found anywhere, not unless you knew just who to talk to or or knew someone who knew who t talk to. She had a friend who knew someone in her case. "To kill is to murder, Lazoras. But don't worry about me avoiding you." Another thing she hadn't much noticed was that she had tapped into her telepathic power, but it wasn't very strong yet. As the time was, it came and gone but she was getting better at using it.  

[Alef]

Alef put on a friendly smile and waved back, as she finally reached them. "Hope you don't mind if I join you. I hate to butt in like this, but I'm pretty bored." She rested her hands on her hips in a casual way, and looked them both over for a second. "I'm Alef by the way... Pleasure to meet you." She said genuinely. It was easy to see, she was very layed back. "May I ask your name?" She questioned, reffering to not only the girl who waved, but the guy she was talking with.

Caprice just smiled. "I don't mind at all, the more the merrier, right?" she nodded her head. "I'm Caprice." she decided she'd let her new friend introduce himself. Her head tilted to the side slightly as was habit within the first few minutes of meeting someone or when her curiousity was strong, as it was now.

He smiled to the women he had bean talking to for a wial now and he noded some laughing just alittle at how she read his mind. he looked to her as he thout some as he watched her and her things as he smiled lightly " you now, your are nice, and you have bean nicer to me thin anyone else had ever bean " he sead looking to her and smiling softly as he watched her. he looked to this new person that he new not anything of. he bowed his head in respects and he looked to her " my name is Lazoras " he sead as he stood there

She didn't really get what was funny but didn't much care either, she was always laughing at herself anyhow. "Comes with one of the territories I suppose." she said, rubbing the back of her head as she felt somewhat stupid. "And besides, you haven't done any wrong to me. Why shouldn't I be nice?" She was beaming now as she looked up at the beautiful blue summer sky. So much different from the dark one she'd seen when she arrived here early this morning. Or was it late last night? She couldn't remember anymore.  

[Alef]

"Ah, Caprice and Lazoras it is..." Alef continued to smile causually, and bending at the waist, gave a slight bow in return as if to confirm their new acquaintance. "I'm just here to hone my skills a bit, and see what kind of interesting people I can meet along the way." She said, offering up a little information on herself. It they chose to return the favor, it would be nice. If not, well then, all the more fun to guess. "How are you doing on this fine day?" She veered the conversation back to them, though, never being one to shy away from questions should they be directed towards her.

He glanced to Caprice for a second he could fell that she felt herself as stupid. he didnt like that seens it had bean his falt that she thout that way he looked down alittle he listened to what she sead and thin to waht the other girl he hardly new sead " Im new here, and i came here to maybe see if i can get some of my skills back " he sead with a light node as he stood there he looked back to Caprice as he watched her trying not to stair agian feeling alittle bad for making her think she was stupid

She began to wonder why everyone bowed in such a casual place as this but didn't dwell on it for long, it was probably how they were raised. "Ah... same here actually. And because my folks don't seem to like to stay in one place for too long, so I moved out after seeing the court to divorce them." She began to get a little nervous again, and her body tensed up a little, showing it. She wasn't used to questions or this kind of trade of talk but she wanted to be polite. "I'm doing rather well actually. How about you, besides the boredom?" She looked at Lazoras. "Ai ya, it's not your fault."

Alef nodded a bit, and shrugged. "Ah, everyone has their reasons I suppose..." Seeing as they were digging around a few sensitive issues to Caprice, Alef looked for a change of subject. "What are your powers? That is if you don't mind me asking. I will gladly tell you more about mine, that is, if you find yourselves interested enough. Wouldn't want to bore you all." She chuckled a little. "I am doiing very well actually."

He looked back to her agian and he blinked some. he would still feeel like it was his falt in making her feel bad. he didnt like that, he never like cosing pain to anything, witch made his job hard seens when he was a angel it was his job to kill things, the only way he could do it was becouse it was to save lives. He looked to her and he thout kist alittle he could see how she was geting uncomfortable" so let Caprice, what was it you wonted to show me in your books " he sead smiling lightly to her acting atlest like nothing was wrong as he smiled lightly to her thinking some as he staired to her alittle watching her as he thout alittle standing alittle closer to her thin he didn the women he new less. he watched her as he thout some he hadnt ment to but he had goten closer to Caprice the hole time thay had bean talking. he had a protective nature and seeing that she was geting tense made him get protective " my powers are strang, and if its alright i wouldnt like to mention thim " he sead with a slight node
