Great, now everyone's feeling some form of guilt. Way to go, Dummkopf. she told herself in thought annoyedly. "Uh, well I'm learning to use my telepathy for my power... other than that I'm just really good with weapons." She thought that if this were an , she'd have a huge sweatdrop over her head. She stared at Lazoras now, and even now was oblivious that he had moved. And now she couldn't remember what she was going to show him. "I felt stupid before I started talking with you, it's not your fault. And I dunno, can't remember." She wasn't so much bothered as it was that she was still getting used to Alef, but it was slowly getting better. "I know they say curiousity killed the cat but I have yet to see that proven." She put her hands together, smiling a little easier.  

[Alef]

Alef gave a slight shrug, as if it were nothing. "No problem, you don't have to talk about it." She said to Lazoras, before looking back to Caprice. "Really? I have a little skill in telepathy, but not much. I'm working mostly on elemental magic... Like control of the elements sort of thing. I'm not too bad with a sword, but..." She chuckled a bit. "...that's only if you catch me on a good day or something." Alef would always attempt to make her company comfortable. Being so laid back, it usually wasn't hard for people to relax around her after awhile. If nothing else, she would just leave to their own. It was always interesting to make new friends.

He looked to her and he laughed just alittle a he staired to her " well oyour my friend, and kitty or not, ill make shour nothing bad happines to you " he sead with a node as he watched her he seemed like a person that would make a good friend to have seens he was a person that protected people. his neckless shined a moment and thin stoped he watched Caprice as he thout alittle the bad feelings had seemed to have almost disapered now.

"I think if I tried elemental magic I'd k. i.l.l. myself ," she said, her voice laughing now as she was finally used to the company. "Growing up in some places, you gotta know your weapons." she scratched her head, remembering the horrid places she'd been to and how she'd never in a million years go back. She blinked for a momet, then laughed again. "I'm no kitty but thanks, I appreciate it." she may have been pretty good, but she was no where near best. Still, she could protect herself fairly well. After having been reminded of her past, she wondered where Mirael was. She was pretty sure that she was going to be here.  

[Alef]

Hearing Caprice's response caused Alef to not chuckle quietly, but laugh. It wasn't an obnoxious laughter, but a little more than the amused chortle she usually let loose. "That reminds me. When I first started with fire, I had such horrible control. I burned countless things, not people of course, but like corners of tables, pencils, and other such items." A light smile seemed always on her face, but no in a fake sort of way. "Yes, I can imagine knowing what's what when it comes to fighting is very important."

He watched Caprice and he smiled he lightly placed his hand on her head and he peted her like she was a kitten. he smiled to her alittle and he looked to the other girl " when i was first lurning my powers. i broke me leg and my arm becouse i couldnt controle it " he sead with a node. he growned alittle afterword arcing his back asif in pain for a moemnt before he was fine

"Ouch, sounds horrible yet so entertaining at the same time." she commented for both of their tales. "I just had problems holding things right. And not causing myself severe headaches from hearing lots of thoughts at once." she nodded a little and made a face when Laz petted her head. In which she turned directly facing him and put her finger on his nose, pressing a little in a poke. "What are you doing and why?" She had that stare on her face agian, the one that seemed irritated, but she was really just trying to suppress a laugh and her features were showing it.m "Oh! That reminds me, and why were you watching me earlier when I was jogging?"  

[Alef]

Alef nodded a little bit. "Yes, oh yes. There were countless hours of entertainment. That, and charred things." She shrugged, and lifted a brow as she watched the display before her. It was almost cute that he was petting her hair, but it was nothing to her. Such was her gift and her flaw. She couldn't care less about what went on around her, lest of course, it directly involved her some how. As for now though, she was just basking in the company of her new friends. Knowing herself, she probably wouldn't be around to talk very much for a short period of time.

He looked at her and he smiled. he had felt her woke him and listned to her" im peting you " he sead as he looked to her smiling gently and the when she asked about the joging he laughed just alittle and his cheeks kinda went pink " Well for one thing i had nothing else to do " he laughed just alittle " and your beautiful " he sead scratching his head and laughing just alitttle. thin he look around some trying to get his cheeks to stop glowing the light pink thay wre he seemed alittle imbarised to say it, and his emotinos were still jumpy frmo being a new arivle on the planet

((My friend is kicking me off her computer now that she's out of bed. So I will be taking LONG time to post.))

"Charred is cool though, unless it's your skin, ouch." she grinned and took his hand off her hand but didn't think to let go. "I'm not a kitty, I'm not a dog, I'm human. Therefore I am not to be petted to silly person." she couldn't help smiling but then turned somewhat red. "Oh, okay then." She'd just drop that subject now. He's new, he's new, he's new, he's new she kept reminding herself. She merely stuck her tongue out for a few seconds, then rolled her eyes and started laughing agian.

"Heh, that is true..." Alef couldn't help the almost amused look that graced her face as she watched the two. Caprice's face turning a tad red, surely against her will. Lazoras was already attatched to the girl, that much was obvious, even if not to Caprice herself. She couldn't say much, her first few days here, she had been married for God's sake. What a long story that turned out to be, and part of her missed him. She could not help herself. What complicated webs everyone seemed to weave for themselves. Through all this, she continued to smile. It seemed she was merely observing.

He looked to her hand for a second as she kept hold of it and he lightly held her hand as he watched her was still alittle pink in the cheeks trying to make it go away but he wasnt able to. he staired to her as he thout some smiling lightly " ok, i wont pet youagian " he sead looking to her " unless you ask " he sead with a node and a lught laugh as he staired at her thinking alittle as he softly held her hand looking at her. watching her stick her toung out at him and thin laugh agian he smiled and he laughed just alittle more. it was clear that he liked it, proboly more thin he should seens she he hardly new her. but he couldnt helpit. His eyes were lit up lightly as he watched Caprice

"Yeah, I was lighting a candle with a match once and it wasn't in the best of shape, needless to say I scorched myself." she wasn't about to ignore Alef because of Laz. Gah, she couldn't take it anymore! If she didn't do something funny or just...something in general, she was going to burst! She kept racking her brain for something to do, and finally got something. She let go of his hand and pulled the skin of both his cheeks, making him have a funny face. "Hmmm... not as cute but a lot more funny."  

[Alef]

Alef made a face expressing pain for a moment. "I can't imagine that felt like a bag of candy..." She said. Her face was suprised at first, but faded into laughter as she chuckled a bit. The was Craprice made Lazoras' face look was priceless, she couldn't go without moments like these. Caprice seemed like her kind of girl, the kind that would always keep you entertained. "I can agree with that." She thought for a moment, so she liked humor, Alef could do that. That is, if she thought long enough on something that would actually be amusing.
