Gradually making her way into the North Courtyard, Tomoro held her hands at her sides lifelessly, gazing at her surroundings. Since when did the courtyard look so... dull? It wasn't like it at all, the plants seemed like they were on the verge of death. Pushing her eyepatch across her eye, she took a few baby steps toward a small flower that had begun to wilt. "What... a pity..." she said softly to herself, raising her left index finger to her lips, then touching one of the leaves on the plant. It instantly glowed bright green, and within seconds, the once dying flower now stood upward toward the sun, obsorbing the rays happily. Tomoro let out a small sigh of relief, and smiled a bit, walking past the flower and sitting beneath a red oak tree.
Truth be told, she wasn't even sure why she was here. What was there to do except watch other people? Perhaps someone would come by and talk to her; if that was the occasion, however, she most likely wouldn't respond quickly to them. No use trusting strangers.

Shinn took in a deep breath of the fresh air. He had been inside for, in his opinion, too long. The rather tall man made his way along a path towards the centre of the courtyard. His brown orbs, covered by his dark shades, took to a large item in the middle of the courtyard. He sauntered towards it, taking a scenic route. He always liked exploring new areas, especially with his current equipment.
An acoustic guitar was strung across Shinn's back. He meant to find a quite place and practice... or did he? En route to the centre of the courtyard Shinn's eyes were rather sidetracked by a figure under a tree. The type of tree was wholly irrelevant, but anyone who paid enough attention would recognize it was a red oak. Shinn's quick fingers reached for the guitar and twisted it otu of tune.
He took a swagger over to the girl, but instead sat on the opposite side of the tree. Wide grin plastered on face, Shinn began to slowly, and agonizingly tune his guitar. He could do it by ear in a few seconds but that was not his current goal.

Sighing lightly, Tomoro moved her visible eye up at the leaves of the red oak. So... leafy. And green. It was a nice change from everything she had seen in the past few days. Biting her lower lip and smoothing out her dark black dress, her hair flowing along her shoulders like a river, Tomoro looked back at the ground just in time to see a man's feet. Looking up, she furrowed her eyebrows as she realized he looked a bit... drunk, maybe? The steps he took were all random, out of place... she didn't know where on Earth he was going until he took a step toward her. Unconciously, she tensed up a bit, her shoulders raising.
Fortunately, when he decided to swivel over and sit on the other side of the thick tree, Tomoro let out a sigh of relief and continued staring at the grass, listening for any hint of music. Nothing. Was he tuning his guitar...? Personally, Tomoro wasn't musically gifted, but could sing pretty well. It wasn't often she saw someone holding in instrument, however, and thus sat in her spot and patiently waited for him to play, unaware of his true intentions.. that is, if he had any.

Shinn continued smiling and tuning his guitar. Now that she had, undoubtably, began to wonder it was time for step two. Shinn tilted his head back, his bushy hair brushing against the bark of the tree. He shut his eyes, he didn't like the sound that was about to emminate from his guitar but it was for the best. His fingers flexed briefly before strumming on the strings. The sound produced was not the angelic hymm usually performed by Shinn, no. The sound resembled a shriek, several shrieks in fact. It was not pleasing in any way unless you were a masocist.
Shinn's fingers pressed on the frets and he continued strumming. He winced with every brush of his fingers against the strings. His expert hands tuned the guitar again, this time it was a wonky off-pitch, dying goose sound. Inside Shinn was conflicted; there was the horrid sound coming from his guitar, and there was the utter hilarity of doing such a thing on purpose.
Shinn, while 'playing' the guitar, stared through his sun glasses at a nearby tree. It shook with a gust of wind, as if reacting to his bad music.

Tomoro's eye twitched unexpectedly, and she let out a small cough, almost as if she were trying to gain the man's attention himself. Why on EARTH was this man tormenting her with such horrid sounds? It made her sick to her stomach. Letting out a deep sigh, Tomoro tried to tune out the sounds flowing into her ears, but it didn't work; they barged their way in, flowing in and out, making her sick with every strum of his guitar. Desperately, she looked over at the grass, noticing it seem to shiver before her very feet. Why doesn't he just stop...? It's sickening, and bothering everyone around him. Why, if he doesn't stop, I'll get up myself...
The strumming went on for quite some time, and Tomoro tried putting her hands to her ears to dull the noise, but it didn't work. Groaning, she got up and brushed off her dark black dress, moving her bangs out of her face and straightening her eyepatch, beginning to walk over to a nearby bench where she sat down, closing her eyes and inhaling a deep breath of air. At least the noise wasn't as bad in this spot...
