Not having anything more productive to do, Ako decided his best course of action was simply to try and rest. He laid back on the reclined hospital bed, and tried to think. If he was going to be staying here, what would he do? He'd never stayed in one place long enough to warrant a real job, so he couldn't imagine how he'd be helpful around here.

Trinity's arrival thankfully gave him an excuse to get away from awkwardly watching a conversation he wasn't a part of. "I'll go." He said, "Gidget, what do you want to eat? I'll bring our food back here."

Once Ako mentioned brining back food, Gidget thought of every little thing that she had missed out on. With a deathly serious tone she said to Ako, "Bring all the desserts."

Trinity's conversation didn't even register with her. All she could think about was cheesecake and cookies.

Heather took the key from Larry and squinted at the small numbers etched into the metal. "115, I think."

"Hmmm.... 115... let's see... I think it's this way..." she followed the numbers, which lead them to a room that was next to a tree sapling. The door was just the right size for Larry and it had a big hand on it so that it could scan and he could open it without using a key. There was a smaller door built for normal sized people. Kerana thought she was seeing things as she looked over to the sapling, "Is it just me or did that tree move?"

As Larry opened the door with his hand scan they enter a room which was decorated like a heavenly tropical rain forest. There was plenty of head space for Larry to walk around normally in. There were plants all over and on the coffee table there was a bouquet of birds of paradise, hibiscuses along with some yellow daffodils. There was a note from Lieutenant Mitch Davis.

I hope the room turned out better than expected. I hope you and Larry will be happy here.

Heather couldn't believe it when she saw it. It was better than she could have ever imaged. The atmosphere was just right, and the temperature in the room was warm enough to facilitate her cold blooded needs without making Larry overly warm. She noticed a large lamp in the corner placed over a bed. She walked over and clicked it on. A toothy smile spread across her face at the idea of no longer having to sit out in the sun uncomfortably.

"Note." Larry droned. Heather went over to him and read it. She smiled again, keeping in mind that she will have to make it up to the Lt one day. She turned her head in Kerana's direction and said, "This is really something. They must have to do this sort of thing a lot if they went this far. All I asked for was some headroom and a lamp."

Annie glanced over at Gidget and warned, "You know if you eat too much deserts you can get fat- or there is probably the possibility. Most people don't have the metabolism that I do." Annie had to eat constantly when she used her power to keep up, before the meteor shower she had a fast metabolism, now it was uncontrollable.

Smiling slightly she sat down on the bed, realizing that this was the first time in years, though, that Gidget would probably be able to enjoy desert or any type of food.

Daisy raised a brow and said, "I'm heading to the cafeteria. I'll make sure Christian doesn't eat too many sweets at the very least, Miss Soulsmith. Do you have any preferences for food?"

Annie shook her head, but answered, "Not really, just keep away from the desert table for anything for me." After that, she returned her attention to Gidget.

Christian stuck his tongue out at Daisy and added, "I don't like sweets, anyways. I like vegetables and fruit best."

Daisy smiled as she picked him up and turned to leave, "Really? Your par- you must have been raised well."

Trinity lead the others to the food court. "Here we are take your pick.". The aromas in the air made Trinity realize how hungry she was. The fight earlier did take a lot out of her despite the help from the serum. She picked up a cheeseburger with a side salad. She felt she wanted more heavy than her usual chicken ceaser.

Surrounded by the food she wondered what to get Theonis. The most she has ever seen the man eat was, well, a whole bowl of soup. She wondered if using his power as much as he did would affect his appetite, like it does with other metas.

Setting Christian down, Daisy allowed Christian to stay by her side and pick out his dinner of lasagna and mashed potatoes and point out a selection of what his Mom would want- which end up being what felt like a pound of steak (rare on Christian's insistence for his Mom), two hamburgers, and a piece of catfish, and her own light dinner of chicken ceaser salad. Once she got the food in the boxes she carried it over to Trinity with Christian following happily behind her.

"Do all metahumans eat all this much?" Daisy asked nodding at the two filled boxes of food she was carrying for Annabella Soulsmith. It felt wrong to make a three year old carry it. Even if the kid was a genius, Daisy felt that Annie gave the kid too much of a free reign and too much responsibility. She sat down the food and continued, "I wouldn't know, I'm not a meta. Or at least I was not affected by the meteor shower to become a metahuman like most were."

"Hmm... I'm almost jealous of Annie's metabolism," Daisy said wistfully. "It isn't easy to stay in shape for my job, but then again I've enjoyed working out so it isn't that much of an inconvenience."

She continued, "Theonis is the meta who was sleeping mostly in the room. It looked like the fight took a lot out of him. I assume he is your boyfriend from how you talk about him and act concerning him... it is nice to have someone to care for and love. I never had that. I've always put my love for journalism first." She cocked her head to the side, her blonde hair spilling over her shoulder and she added with a smile, "That was a good thing for you lot at Valhalla, though. I wouldn't have been able to hack into the systems as easily to override the new's channel's with my report if I hadn't been so committed to justice from the beginning."

"I have finally openly exposed Daedalus for what they are and I plan to continue my attack," Daisy said with a small smile as she handed Christian his lunch and began to dig into her salad, "Some day they are going to try to make good on their threat to imprison me under claims I'm a meta because of my headaches that started after the meteor shower and talent for knowing where trouble is."

After a while the chrysalises were loaded into the vehicle. A couple of guards remained to keep an eye on the egg. Already they called it the egg-duty since all you could do is guard it and keep an eye on it. David had done his remaining tests and went back with the rest of the chrysalises. He had all the date he could gather at the moment. Perhaps later when they were more developed he could get different readings. Maybe even determine their power. The General sent a text to Trinity saying that they were on their way with the chrysalises and explained that the egg would be under constant guard until further evidence would suggest that it can be moved.

To Liv this whole idea wasn't as good as she had initially thought. All of those...things were gross. There was no other words for it plus she couldn't drain anything from those disgusting eggs. What a waste of time. It was clear she was in a bad mood as she left.

Theonis gazed over a what seemed to be rural Japan clad in red samurai armor. He did not know what age it was. All he knew that he had to fight. His honor depended on it. His emperor commanded him. Theonis would end his life if he could not see this task done. To complete this task his emperor had given him power. A stone that fell from the heavens was said to be a great source of power for a man, Therefor all of these rocks belonged to the emperor. But the emperor had given him one. Theonis had found out that those legends regarding these Heavenly Stones were true. He had received a power which could destroy armies with on stroke of the sword. This was a power he needed to face his enemy. A foul demon roamed the land, ravaging everything in his path. A gigantic four-legged monster. Black as night with a almost reflective skin. Long spiked tail that could destroy a village with one swipe.

There was no hiding her love for the man, she didn't mind if the whole world knew...just as long as people didn't try to take advantage of the matter. "I'm just glad he respects how important my job is to me and Valhalla..." she said to herself as Daisy continued. A smile crept upon her lips. The very thought of him made her do so.

"Well if Daedalous comes knocking on the door with that in mind you know who to call" her eyes glowed a little as she said that.

Trinity couldn't help but smile as the reporter easily put the pieces together. There was no hiding her love for the man, she didn't mind if the whole world knew...just as long as people didn't try to take advantage of the matter. "I'm just glad he respects how important my job is to me and Valhalla..." she said to herself as Daisy continued. A smile crept upon her lips. The very thought of him made her do so.

"Well if Daedalous comes knocking on the door with that in mind you know who to call" her eyes glowed a little as she said that.

"Of course," Daisy agreed, "After all, I didn't take such a large gamble without having some confidence that Valhalla would protect me even though I am not a meta-human."

She took a drink of a glass of water and continued, "It is nice to have a man who respects a woman who takes her job seriously. I find that type of man rare. Of course the cynical side of me is inclined to say it could be an act. I had a fiance once who was fine with me taking my job seriously until he wasn't. Of course he also end up cheating on me, so there might have been other problems in the relationship. Of course that was almost fourteen years ago so..." She laughed, "God, I'm getting old, thankfully I'm told I look at least a decade younger than I really am."

"I'm getting told the same." Trinity said with a smirk then continued "You should have seen the look on that man's face when I told him my real age. Heh..." She took a sip of water she had picked up earlier and took a bite of her side salad. Perhaps she's not as scary as I once thought

"That may have been amusing," Daisy remarked dryly. "Even producers forget my age sometimes and treat me like a newcommer on occasion because of my looks and gender, but then again I reduce them to tears within five minutes after that so no harm done. I used to tolerate condescending behavior a bit better when I was younger... not much, but a bit... I used to wait ten or fifteen minutes before I snapped."

She finished her salad and glanced over at Christian, "You're being quiet." Usually the child had something to say.

He shrugged, "I don't care to contribute to the conversation, nor do I have anything to contribute of any real value."

Ako was caught off guard a bit by Gidget's odd request, but agreed anyway. After what she'd gone through, he'd get her anything she wanted. Though, he was still going to get her some real food.

He followed the others to the cafeteria and through the food line, balancing two food trays. He filled his with a large steak, mashed potatoes, and green beans, and true to his word, he filled Gidget's with as many desserts as it could carry. He got a third tray and filled it with a salad with a turkey sandwich, just in case she wanted something other than sweets.

With three fully loaded carry-out trays, he left the food line to rejoin the others.
"Ready to head back?"
