More Meteor Showers Bring Even Stranger Powers. (O/A)

Annie shrugged, "I wasn't much of a kid myself no matter how hard I tried so I can relate some. I'll allow you to lead the way since you have been in contact with the scientists," she added motioning him forward.

Larry maintained his smile and slowly lowered his hand. He kept his hand below Christian as he gave his instructions.

"Breath. Float. Nobreath. Sink. Like. Floatie. A-air. T-try."

Larry raised his free hand to his head. He made a face as his head began to ache with mental exertion. He did his best to maintain a pleasant demenor for Christian.

Christian frowned noticing his friend was being bothered- probably by all this effort. Taking deep breaths he did as instructed and began to float. A big smile lit up on Christian's face and he said, "I think I'm getting floating- normal floating- not using my powers to make me float type floating!"

"Runs in the family huh? Can't say the same about my family.Only have one genius that's my dad." Right...Daedelus..best not mention that around her." But I suppose I shouldn't mention him around you." Theonis said right after.

Theonis led the way to the hall that housed the Chrysalises." Still strange that all of these things came from him. I know he said that they would all be Meta's but....you think are actually on our side? Might never know what comes out and then there's the egg. Which just stood out on it's own. They are keeping that one somewhere else." He said whilst they were on their way.

Annie shrugged, "It is probably best: I'm not the biggest fan of your father due to his involvement with what happened to Shane. I know it wasn't primarily his fault, but he isn't faultless in my book."

Taking a deep breath she continued, "Anyways. I'd like to think these new metas will be like anyone else and be able to chose themselves what side they are on."

Nova Blancke

Simultaneously a bit further away two arms erupted from the two shells that were next to each other. Judging by the hands one was male and the other female. The female had no problem's with freeing herself, with ease she broke the shell. The man took a little longer but managed to free himself as well. As they both fell naked out a loud gasp of air was heard before they hit the ground on their knees. Wet hair stuck to their bodies. The woman had long hair while the man's hair was neck length.The feature that stood out the most was...their hair kept changing color ever second! They could speak but their vision took a little longer to come back. They had used it before as opposed to the child.

David turned his head as it happened. " Did this one cause a chain reaction?" He certainly hoped not. That meant they would all be born after this and with so many new born Meta's accidents were bound the happen! That wasn't good. David started commanding again despite Trinity being next to him and also despite the fact that he actually held no power over her. "Trinity,check out the others and get additional forced over here. If they are all going to be hatched right now we will need all the help we can get"

Trinity heard the sounds of a couple of shells cracking and started texting for reinforcements to come here and to the med bay, where she would be sending these new metas to recover and learn of their situation. By the time David was giving his orders she said, "Done. I'm going to transport them to the med bay so that they can be looked at, find out what they are capable of and when they are ready room arrangements." She was a little annoyed at the fact that David was telling her what to do. Regardless she needed to find out how the two who just hatched are doing.

She walked over to the two and noticed their on going changing hair. Regardless she tried to start to reassure them, "You are safe now, everything will be alright. Welcome to Valhalla." she figured since they hatched as adults they could understand her.

The two looked at each other a sense of disbelief and confusion came over them when they heard the woman speak. Their eyes also changing color.

"He said...we'd be together. One again....no longer part together." The man spoke slowly as if his body was re-learning how to speak as he spoke. He reached out and touched the woman's face. " I...can't feel you." She didn't respond with words. She had never been one for words. " We...are free from each other? I don't feel the urge anymore....But...this can't be what Shane meant." They both turned to face Trinity and stood up. It seemed they could still do things simultaneously with their previous link. "You, Trinity. Why aren't we one?!" The man demanded. His hair fixed on red briefly.

Kerana

Kerana was having a lot of fun learning things at school and hanging out with her friends after. She was really happy that her room mate Deora and her friend Heather got to go school with her. Granted not all in the same classes but they had lunch together and some times dinner after school.

She was heading toward Heather and Larry's place when suddenly she heard the sounds of coughing and gagging. Her ears twitched. The sound sent shivers down her spine all the way to her tail. She took a deep breath and rushed toward the door. "Hey Heather! Are you okay in there?" She did think it strange that their door was wide opened.

Heather's eyes snapped open at the sound of Kerana's voice. It only then occurred to her that she forgot to close the door. She cursed herself for losing track of her solitude. The shedding's process was painful and disgusting, and she preferred to be alone. But this was different, something was wrong.

With one last wet, raspy, painful hack she coughed up a fleshy mass. It was thin and bloody, almost like a membrane. The pain in her throat was gone, but now it was replaced by a highly evident burning sensation. She stumbled out of the shower and hit the ground hard while clasping her throat. This was too much, she knew that, and she needed help.

She lifted her head, her wet hair matted against her scaly features, and called out for her friend."Kay...help me. I-AH!"

The last vowel was punctuated by a burst of flame that ejected from her mouth. She had set the towels on the rack aflame before shutting her mouth and stopping the flow of fire.

The Count of Monte Carlo

Ako released her, turning to admire her as she dressed. The idea of watching an egg hatch didn't seem to appealing to him, but it would be more interesting than sitting here or wandering the halls again. Besides, it didn't seem like a good idea to leave Gidget's side just yet. Though she'd had a week, it looked as though it would take much longer before she was back to her old self, if she ever would be.

"Sure," He said, finding a simple short sleeve shirt to wear. He slipped it on, continuing; "Just one so far?"

Gidget struggled with clasping her bra for a moment before calming down enough to work the plastic hooks. She nodded her head furiously in response to
Ako's question.

"That's what they said. But that could possibly change before I get there." She threw her blouse over her head, then pulled the remainder of her hair through the neck hole. She then grasped Ako's hand and led him to the holding area.

By the time she arrived there was a lot of movement going on, so much that she was finding it hard to get anywhere.

"Does somebody want to tell me what's going on here?"

The child began to calm down after being covered. He heard the newly emerged man call out from the other side and looked up. Once he laid eyes on the female his arms reached out for her.

His cries became desperate as he mumbled, "Uh...Muh...Mah...Ma...Ma!"

The woman looked to her side as she picked up the calls of this young child. The way he called out struck a cord inside of her. He was frail...weak..needed to be taken care of. Protected. Keep him safe.

Not waiting for an answer from Trinity she quickly walked up the child. She carefully picked him up and held him close, wrapping up him mostly in the lab coat. The fact that she was still naked didn't seem to have any effect on her. Her first priority was to keep this child safe.

A soldier also entered right after Gidget and waked with her to explain the situation." Just been called here myself Ma'm. Two more have hatched. The first one is a child who I think just called for it's mother"

"Let's hope so. Hate to see it being Legion's last prank on us to have them go berserk." Theonis replied. Soon they entered the hall he noticed the activity. "Well....I think we came at rush hour or something. That or they are hatching."

Gidget thanked the guard and squirmed past him with Ako still in tow. She entered the room just as the boy was wrapping his arms around the woman's neck. His back was to Gidget, but she could definitely tell who the others were.

"You two...you were in the chamber with Shane." She tightened her grip on Ako's hand. She had a feeling she wasn't going to like where this conversation was going.

The boy held on close to the female and breathed easily as his anxiety faded away. The warmth of her touch was comforting and wonderful. So gentle and caring. He lay his head sideways on her shoulder and started to look around the room as his eyes adjusted to being in use.

Kerana

Kerana rushed in and saw this fire on the towel. She found the fire extinguisher and tried to use it. It pushed her back a little but managed to aim some of it on the fire. "Heather what happened? You okay?"

Heather got on her knees and kept her hands over her mouth as she fought the urge to cough. She shook her head furiously, a gesture that was ultimately futile. She coughed again and shot a short burst of fire through her grit teeth and onto her hands. She pulled her hands away and threw them back into the running shower. Her hands burned and ached, but were soon met with a new sensation as her scales and flesh began to slush off like wax. Underneath were scales of a nearly crimson shade. Her nails fell apart and gave way to talons that squeezed out of her finger tips.

Heather wanted to scream, but she couldn't risk it without burning down her room. She could only squeeze her eyes and shake in horror at her grotesque metamorphosis.

The man known as Alexavier looked at Gidget." Ahh finally someone who understands!" Alexavier walked up towards Gidget and Ako. He did a mental sweep that covered the hall but failed. It seemed his body could not do such a thing yet as it was still recovering.

"Why aren't we one?!I remember us merging but...we are still apart and yet..individuals. What's going on Agatha?"

The woman known as Cassandra did not speak. She merely cradled the child in her arms while occasionally stroking his hair.
