@Trinity: Kenzi nodded when she gave him her name and thought for a moment on whether or not he should give her his-after careful contemplation he decideed that that would be better. Trinity was an interesting name afterall...there could be more to her. "Kenzi Tsukito..." he paused for a moment as he thought of a questin to ask to learn more about her name-ending up with this-"So...does your name mean anything? Or does it just sound like it would?"

@Ananda: Kenzi ignored her apology, as he did not want one and would not need one if she was not the type of person he wanted her to be. "I am Kenzi...It may be nice meeting you." He said this like this unintentionally, though it did keep him safe as he might end up regretting the conversation later...he was not one to think of other people's feelings over his-but of course he had never needed it with the way he was in not having any.

[sorry for my lack of speed...it was really bad this time -.-;; hopefully I'll fix this delay problem before I must go-which is soon since I must go to grandma's house]

Over the river and through the woods, to grandma's house we go

Kenzi Tsukito...That's an odd name she thought, she hadn't really come across any that sounded remotely like it. Then he asked about a meaning or reason behind her name, this took her a moment, "Well, I don't exactly know why I ended up with this name, I guess it just kinda fit." She shrugged at this point. "I never really thought about it as anything other than it is." She paused looking down she muttered something aloud. "Although now that I am thinking of it, I wonder if my name has anything to do with this situation..."

"Boy, do I ever feel complimented," Ananda muttered. Should've stuck with Zasz, she thought to herself. Demon or no, at least he was a little nicer than this guy. Heck, even staying with Rille would've been better. But it's not like I can really get anywhere, so I might as well make the best of it. " 'May be nice?' You say that, after you go and wake me up? You're so kind," she said saractically. "I don't know why I'm still here." Except for the fact that if I tried to get up, I'd probably fall headfirst into the fountain, but he doesn't have to know that.

@Trinity: Kenzi listened to her, hearing the way she continued her answer to his question and then ponted out he emphasization on the word situation. There was a situationthat she was in at hte moment aparently, moe information on that would be nice...it could be the deciding factor for him on whether or not to continue with his conversation with her. "What situation might that be? Would you mind giving me details?" He tried to sound polite, no matter how much it hurt him he would have to at first with all of these students. He needed to keep himself a secret for a little while at least.

@Ananda: "How do I know whether meeting you will be pleasant or not...so far you seem to be more of a smart a** than I am." You've a nicer one then I do though, maybe that has something to do with it... he thought this to himself directly after his reply, having noted the fact when she had stood up. He shook his head slowly though and continued on instead. "If you don't want to be here, then leave. If you can..." Kenzi was a Memory Wraith, so he had complete accesss to the minds of those who left theirs unprotected...he had not read her mind here, but simply had interpretted from experience that her reluctance to leave was due to inability...

"Generally one just pretends," said Ananda, "that's it's going to be pleasant no matter what. It's a...whatsit...," she said, snapping her fingers and trying to think of the word. "Convention, that's it." She frowned at him. "I don't know how you figured that out, but you're right, I couldn't leave right now, no matter if I want to or not. So," she said, changing the subject quickly, "why me? There are plenty of other girls in this school. Most of them are more tolerant and nicer than I am. So why wake me up to talk to?"

Trin looked over towards the fountain, also checking her distance from it. She then turned back to him. "My situation, would be being stuck here. I'm not allowed to return home until I can control them." She looked around a bit "and by 'them' I mean the elements. They tend to... flair up around me, and generally cause trouble."

Nanasa soon found herself at the courtyard. Or rather, half of the courtyard, it was big enough to warrant being counted as two. Looking around, she saw a few students bustling to and fro, they all looked fairly busy. Moving across the stone-paved walkway, she walked out onto the grassy field, and found herself under the shade of a medium-sized tree. This spot looked as good as any other, so she sat down with her back against the tree's trunk, resting he body as she watched people walk past.
Her homesickness hadn't faded, it was still like a part of her was stretched thin, like an insubstantial part of her was trying to reach out to her home, making her feel rather tense and strained. She tried to calm her head by closing her eyes, but this only seemed to make it more intense. A few tears welled up behind her closed eyes, she was really taking her seperation hard. Yet she couldn't force herself to go back to her room, to call it a night. She knew she had to get used to being apart from Ryoya, that otherwise this entire effort would have been wasted. And she didn't want that, it'd been so hard already. He believed in her, that she could do this, so why couldn't she?

@Ananda: Kenzi shrugged at her speech about Convention. He waited for her to finish with her question thuough afterward, and took a moment or to to think about it. Why he had done it? She was in the wrong place at the wrong time? He decided he would not say something that reiterated her possible unimportance to him, and informed her of his Wraith abilities first as he though of a way to answer her. "I knew about your wounds...because I'm a Memory Wraith...thus I can rea d minds....i didn't read yours but I've enough experience to be able to see it in your eyes..." he then moved to his answer to her question, as he now had one. "Why you? Well...I don't like that other stuff. You've just the type of personality that I look for, because I'm just like that I guess. And you happened to be here at the same time as me, so I woke you to talk to you...Is that a problem for you? Would you liek me to leave?"

@Trinity: He nodded, elements were somethigng he could control...though he did not think of them as an ability of his (thus they are not part of his profile) they were more of an inconvenience to him anyway. His elemental abilities gave him resistance to fire, water, air, and earth...but at the same time it kept him from his full potentialin battle with his energy being used on controlling the elements instead of his Dark lightning in such...he was very strong in the elemental field...but also felt very wk because of it. "Where exactly is home? Why do they want you to control such in-flawless forms of energy?" he soudned interested, but in fact he was coming to acept that thismight be their only friendly conversation, since she was in no way evil in his eyes....as he was not ready for something as big as acceptance of the opposing alignment without something to give good reason, such as a bad attitude and morals that complied with his way of life or something. This Trinity came close...but not quite...so he'd found a victim not an ally.

"I'm not wounded, exactly," Ananda corrected him, "just...completely exhausted. But I suppose it ammounts to the same thing. And no, it's not a problem, really. I suppose you don't have to leave unless you want to." She shrugged. "I can rest just as much talking as I could sleeping, it makes no difference to me. Just so long as you do't ask me to go anywhere," she said, resigned to her weakness, "or you'll have to fish me out of the fountain when I fall over."

Nanasa Miduki

Nanasa felt a little better now, the ache in her heart was not quite so tender. Getting to her feet, she dusted herself off, knocking away a few fallen leaves than clung to her. Still not quite familiar with the landscape, she checked her map, and turned in the direction of the dorms.
"I suppose I might as well call it a night."
With that, she started on her way, heading to the dorms and her room to get to bed early so she could try to put all the depressing thoughts further back in her head, so they weren't with her every waking second. She decided to skip supper, not feeling hungry in the slightest. The festival didn't sound like quite so much fun, either.
PostPosted: Fri Aug 25, 2006 4:55 pm
She looked up thinking a moment. "Well, it's a fairly small town...eh... hard to explain to someone who doesn't know the area." She hung her head lightly. Sure it wasn't to big or anything, but it was more or less the fact that she was sent away in the first place, even now it annoyed her. "As for why they want me to control them... mainly so I don't kill someone." She looked over to the side remembering. "I..." She paused and mumbled the last part "caught the house on fire."

@Ananda: Kenzi listened and sat beside her. "You should sleep then...beause that is what I'm going to do...it's been three days, and I might just sleep for that long. I'll come find you later if you get the strength to leavebefore I wake..." He said this and crossed his arms closing his eyes. He sat there almost silently, all except for his breath, and he drifted off to a soft sleep, listening to what she said, if she said anyhing at all, and sleeping on her reply, whatever it was, as he waited for NIghtmares to come.

@Trinity: Kenzi looked at her and raised his brow
"If I were you, I would learn to control them..and kill them for forcing you to leave...but I'm not, and that's totally your decision. And I'm gonna leave now...I need to find something..." He looked over at her and nodded as he left to find someone else to talk to instead...just for until next time.

[Therefore, Trinity came before Ananda and after Anandahe slept]
[Because I have to go for until sunday at least monday at most]

Ananda looked at him, and nodded slightly. "Thank you," she whispered, even though he didn't seem like someone who would appreciate the thought. She slipped back off the edge of the fountain, and summoned enough strength to walk carefully a few feet away to the shelter of a large tree. Then she sank back to the ground, curling on her side. Closing her eyes, she sank back into her light doze, relaxing again. This time, though, she kept herself from falling all the way asleep, instead entering an almost trancelike state where she could monitor the condition of her tired body.

"Kill them?! They're my parents!" She wasn't even thinking about her words now, only reaction. She hadn't exactly heard the rest of what he said but then he started walking away from her. "What the hell? You can't just kill someone for a reason like that. I mean, jeez!" She gave him a bit of a glare as he walked away and started walking in the opposite direction. Due to her strong feelings of opposition, sparks started to fly from her shoes as they clicked against the stone walkways as she headed onward.
((I have to go, might be on later))
