More Meteor Showers Bring Even Stranger Powers. (O/A)

Theonis cursed under his breath. Something very strong would soon be hatched. Gidget's team would stop it right? There was no telling if they could. " I'm coming with you. There's no way I'd do nothing if something big is going to happen inside of Valhalla."

Trinity stepped up to Theonis. She couldn't bare the thought of loosing him, she was completely helpless to help him. She hated that feeling, as she watched the others help bring him back. "Are you sure about this Theonis?! I-I almost lost you last time..." her voice was hard at first then softened.

"I don't think power exhaustion will be a problem anymore. I'll be fine. Besides..." He lifted up her chin a little with his thumb and index finger as he looked her into the eyes." I've got you to watch my back right?"

Alexavier was still looking in the direction of the egg but noticed Cassandra's glance at him. Despite not having the urge to be one with her, he still had to protect her and the other way around.

"I will see for myself just what that thing is. I will let you accompany me there." He said to Gidget.

"Always." Trinity carresed his hand and closed her eyes feeling his touch. She opened her eyes and narrowed them suspiciously. "Anymore? How can you be so certain? Did something change while I was gone?"

"Either that or I can go on much longer. Not sure of it yet. Short story even shorter...the kid fixed it. Either my genes or body. I'll tel ya in detail later okay?" Theonis asked." Needles to say I am a lot stronger now." If he focused he could feel where people were standing or where objects touched the ground.

The kid can remove power exhaust? Tempting as it may be, I'm not sure how it will affect my ki. Will it work like the serum sensei made? If I do this now when things are fine... will it outright kill me? I hope Theonis knows what he's doing... I don't know enough about him to trust him or his power yet... Trinity simply nodded in response to Theonis' question.

"Gidget we have a pretty good team here should we just roll? Or do you think we need others added to this team?"

Annie frowned and spoke up, "I am willing to go now and help, though, it would probably be wiser to have a 'power upgrade' as Theonis called it before I go since my limits can be inconvenient. Unless, you don't care for my help. And, I don't want to force the child to do something he is not comfortable doing right now."

She glanced at the boy in Cassandra's arms and smiled reassuringly as she stood up, before she glanced back at Trinity. "I just want to help out where I can. As a resident of Valhalla I want to protect this place for myself, and more importantly for my son. This place will give him the best chance at having as normal of a childhood as he can get, or at least while Daedalus is still running."

Trinity smiled a little at Annie's request. It looked like her stay at Valhalla has had a positive effect. It wasn't long ago that she wanted to leave her son here and swore revenge against Daedalus. "Of course Annie. I was hoping you would."

Gidget turned on her heels and glared daggers at Alex. "Allow me? You've got a lot of nerve to think that you're in any position to to be giving allowances."

The boy peeked at Annie from Cassandra's shoulder. His eyes were red with tears as he trembled. "I'm scared."

Annie nodded and put on a smile and said to the boy, "Remember we took down Legion before, in theory we should be able to do it again. Besides, fear won't help you accomplish anything. If you curl up and hide and give up you might as well have already lost."

It didn't take long for the medical response team to respond to Heather's room after hearing what transpired over the phone. A few minutes later and she was admitted to the ICU. It felt likes hours when it was only minutes, but a doctor finally approached Kerana in the eaiting room.

"Kerana. We've done all we can to make her comfortable, but whatever transformation she is undergoing is still going, albeit at a snails pace. She's not allowedd visitors, but she was very insistent on speaking with you before we sedated her. Do you know what could be so important?"

Annie nodded and put on a smile and said to the boy, "Remember we took down Legion before, in theory we should be able to do it again. Besides, fear won't help you accomplish anything. If you curl up and hide and give up you might as well have already lost."

The boy bit his bottom lip pensively, then reached his hand out to her with his index finger extended. "Touch your finger to mine. I know what needs to be done with you. It wont take long."

"I can have you spill your every secret in front of all these people. I can have you dance wearing nothing but a smile. That's one reason." Alexavier said calmly but kept his chin up.

"Second...it wouldn't be a smart idea to face someone of my caliber without me, now would it? Especially up close."

Cassandra didn't liked that woman talk to her son. Maybe it was just bad blood on her side from before the rebirth. But she calmed down her son a bit so she refrained from doing anything.

Gidget smirked and chuckled. "You got one out of three. If you try to get in my head you're going to get a nasty surprise, but you're right about facing the thing in the egg. Just one thing though: how do you plan on fending off the polar opposite of your kid? I don't know if you've looked at the monitor behind you, but he's the most power meta in this room."

Annie's eyes widened briefly, she hadn't expected the boy to be calmed enough to want to help. Taking a deep breath she reached out a hand and touched her finger to his. Personally, she didn't totally feel prepared at heart for whatever would come with what the boy could do for her, but intellectually she knew it was important to not waste time. She glanced at Cassandra, and realized that she didn't even need Christian's ability to sense emotions to sense the woman's dislike.

Taking a calming breath, closing her eyes, and forcing a smile, Annie waited for the process to begin.
