Courtyard (North)

Karin just listened to the silence for a while, hearing him sigh once before speaking of something completely different. For a moment she was silent again, just taking in what he was saying through her half perked ears. Then she sighed almost too quietly to hear and took a step back, finally prying her arms from around him and instead wiping at her face. The tears had finally stopped coming, or at least weren't pouring down like before. She hugged herself after she'd done that, clutching at her own arms as she looked down at the ground. "Any..." she began quietly, and then trailed off. She'd been about to say anytime would be fine, but wasn't sure now. Had he mentioned something about training in the nightmare realm? That place had been scary enough before, but now that she was afraid of the only person she'd been comfortable with while there, she wasn't sure at all about going. So she kept silent, chewing at her lip as she stared at the ground. She was still curious to find out about her nightmare side, but was almost terrified to do so.

Kana peeked back over at him, still with a somewhat sleepy smile upon her face as she watched Yuri turn to look up at the sky as well. She tried to remember if Suka had tried to see as well, but couldn't recall. She breathed out slowly, partly because she was testing to see if it was easier to breathe now. It was actually, and a wave of relief washed over her. If that had all been for nothing, she didn't know what she would have done. Her face was still very red, even though it'd been a while since he'd actually done anything. She blinked again as she realized he was looking back at her and watched as he spoke, for a moment just remaining as silent as before. But then she nodded her head, turning it so her face was staring towards the sky again. "...k..." she whispered quietly as her eyes closed slowly and didn't open again. She was too tired to protest his staying, and honestly would prefer if he did stay, rather than her just being completely alone, despite what had just happened with him. Her breath steadied after a moment, and she really had just fallen asleep, lying on her back in the grass, unable to keep herself awake any longer. Her ears were flattened back, tail flicking lazily against her side.

[I'm not sure where the fire is, so i'll just pretend it's around the both of y'all. And sorry i haven't been posting; made the JV team and practice (and the tryouts) are 3.5+ (usually 4) hours long each day ><]


Koichi, who was leaning his waight onto the palms of his hands, watched the scenes unfolding in front of him; he wanted to punch that guy out for giving mouth to mouth to Kana, but there was nothing he could do about it. At least she's alright now, he though, clenching his fists, some dirt collecting under his hands as his fingers curled themselves into the ground. "Kitty..." he whispered softly to himself, his voice ringing with slight frustration; he felt so useless right now. He couldn't even help Kana, for Pete's sake! He couldn't quite see Karin or Suka, and could only assume they were on the otherside of Kana and this kid who he still didn't know and wanted to knock out.

[ack, such a short post.. but i don't know WHAT to post, so HAHAHAHAHAH]  

[Snow Lea Makatu]

Thorn walked into the courtyard, glancing around, looking for a firmiliar face... one face in particular. Then... he saw her. His heart stopped. It had been so long since he had seen her. Since they were so very young... His sister sat silently at the foot of a tree playing with a small water creature. He exhaled slowly, taking a step towards where his sister, Snow, was. She wouldent remember him. She would be scared no doubt... but there had to be someway to make her believe.

Snow sat giggling as the creature flew through her fingers, breaking apart and coming together once again. She was totally oblivious of the person she was about to meet... or rather re-meet.

Thorn stood behind Snow. She was still oblivious that he was standing inches behind her. He reached out...

Snow felt a hand on her shoulder and she gasped, jumping away. She looked up at Thorn and narrowed her eyes at him. He looked so firmiliar but she was sure she didn't know him...

Thorn smiled at her. "Snow... wheres Kiko?" He asked her, smiling.

"Who... Who are you? I... Don't know you... How do you know about Kiko?" She asked, alarmed.

"Snow... It's me... Thorn." He said smiling at her. He took another stp towards her, only to see Snow Stand up, pointing a dagger at his face.

"I don't know who you are but please... leave me alone..." She said softly.

Akana made her way to a bench and sat down. Her feet hurting from all the walking she did. She also had a small red bump on her forehead from where she ran into the pole earlier in the morning. She sighed heavily. Her classes were ok, but she was more upset that she hadn't made any friends yet. She took off her right shoe and began to rub her foot. Hoping that the pain would go away. She looked around the courtyard as she slowly began to relax.

Thorn looked down at the dagger, holding his breath. "Dont... Do anything stupid, Snow..." Thorn said slowly.

Snow took another step towards him, the dagger inches away from his throat. "Why not?! For all I know you could be some creppy stalker!" She hissed.

"But i'm-" Thorn was cut off and was suddenly thrown up against a tree but an invisible force.

"Dont you say another word, Thorn..." Kiko snapped in a low whisper. "You were told not to find Snow... So why are you here?!"

"Nice to see you well too Kiko... I really thought you were a daemon though... Did you get your human form back?" Thorn asked angrily.

Kiko kept a tight grip on Thorn's shirt, raising him slightly so he was a few inches off the ground. "No... This is my human state... I have three states... Human... my regular state and a dragon. Dont make me change to the last one and blow you to ashes..." He snapped.

Snow watched Kiko and the boy, curiously. She wished she could hear what they were saying but she didnt dare go any closer... It looked like Kiko was pretty mad.

Surion followed Kiko to the Northern Courtyard where he found a boy, Snow, and Kiko himself. Surion leaned against a tree near Snow. "Hey Snow, you ok? And who's this guy?" Surion questioned eagerly. "Oh, and yes, Kiko quit the fight, which means I win by default... I-i...I can't think straight. He hit me in the head like...I dunno.." Surion said. Surion wasn't feeling well. His head hurt alot.

Snow sighed softly and walked over to Surion, shaking slightly. "I dont know who it is... He said he knows me... But... I dont. He looks so firmiliar though..." She watched at Kiko cuffed Thorn on the back of the head.
"Kiko only quit for me you know... and him hitting you is a form of him trying to teach you something... I always though..." She said sighing.

"That would suck becasue your breath must stink!" Thorn exclaimed.

Kiko cuffed him int he back of the head and shook his head. "You go apologize to Snow and leave her alone... I dont care if you go to the school now but if I see you even talking to her... I will hurt you..." Kiko hissed.

"Yes Ma'am..." Thorn said smirking.

Kiko cuffed his ear again and then let go of him, making him drop to the ground.

Surion smiled lightly at Snow. "Kiko needs to stop this..." He said. Surion took a step towards Kiko. "Kiko, stop this nonsence... No one deserves to be treated like that, plus, you don't even know the guy... Nor do I but when you saw me you didn't just pin me to a wall. Give him a chance..."Surion said. Kiko shouldn't be hurting others for his own amusement. "Give him a chance to tell his story..."  

[Snow Lea Makatu]

Kiko looked back over at Surion and frowned. "I know him... Quite well... I know his story... Snow is the only one who dosent. Thast what scared her..." Kiko looked back at Snow and saw that she was out of ear shot if he whispered. "Thorn here is Snow's twin brother. He was told spacificly not to see Snow again. He was a bad influence. He was sent away from the village just before Snow's village was destroyed by humans. The night the the humans came, Snow's memory was erased of any memory that she had of Thorn. She was supposed to remember Thorn once she saw him again but I'm glad she didnt." Kiko said sighing. "My deepest apologies that I ran away from our fight by the way but this is so much more important. Thorn was sent away on orders by the king of elves..."

"Kiko... I've changed... I promise... You know me better than that!" Thorn whispered pleadingly.

Kiko sighed softly and looked at the ground, shaking his head. "I can't do it, Thorn... I really can't... I'm sorry..." Kiko extended a hand towards Thorn to help him up.

Thorn took his hand and stood.

Surion nodded queitly. He understood fully. "Thorn... Stay away from Snow... Or Kiko won't be the only one hurting you..." Surion said quietly, so Snow couldn't hear. Surion walked past Snow. "See ya around... Tell Kiko that he hasn't seen the best of me... Also, tell him I was just getting started." Surion stated, walking off with his head low. Apparently his day wasn't getting much better, it was just darkening onto something of Surion's past. Surion remembered his brother. His brothers name was...Well, Zypher. Surion sighed as he remembered him, not a twin, but a great friend... His brother had taught him. Surion dashed into the nearest tree and decided to look upon his past.  

[Snow Lea Makatu]

Snow watched him go and sighed. There was something wrong... Something wasnt right. She decided to leave Surion be for a while at least and then talk to him later. She walked over to the boy and Kiko.

"If... this boy bothers you anymore.. tell me." Kiko said softly.

"Snow... I... I'm sorry... You're right... I am jsut a creepy stalker..." He lied. "I wont bug you anymore."

Snow nodded. Something seemed really wrong about this whole thing and she felt that she was the only one being left out of it. "Alright... You're excused..." Snow whispered.

Thorn nodded slowly. He watched Snow for only a few minutes, taking in every detail in her face and then turning and walking away. How could she not see it? They looked so alike!

Thorn had been a bad thing for Kiko to explain to Surion. As he lay among the branches a tear fell to the ground. Surion missed his brother dearly. It had been so long since he had seen him. A few years actually. He had lost touch after being sent to do a training mission. After he came back to their meeting point Surion was alone, his brother hadn't come. It hurt him more. His brother had always taken care of him. Surion wished his brother could come here, they could share a room and live toghether once more... If only Zypher knew where Surion was...

Snow sighed as she walked away from Kiko, shaking her head. She was completely lost but she decided to find Surion. "Hey... Zyph... you up there?" She said, looking up the tree. It was a silly question. Of course he was up there. She saw him. "Can I... talk to you?" She asked, climbing up the tree.

Thorn walked across the courtyard, head held low. He was so upset. He had come so far and gotten so close... There was nothing he could do anymore...
