Kana bobbed her head up and down, the back of her head rubbing against the grass. "Yes, thank you," she said cheerfully, happy to find she seemed able to talk without stammering or anything now. She hesitated for a moment and then slowly moved her hands to either side of her, pushing herself up very slowly. Then she crossed her legs, spun herself slightly so she was facing Yuri, and grabbed her legs near her ankles. She smiled happily at him and then bowed her head low, closing her eyes for a second. "Thank you very much for your help," she said softly, and paused for a moment before raising her head again. She was still smiling rather happily, her tail flicking behind her and her ears tilted towards him. She appeared to be over his... method of healing, but wasn't entirely. If one looked close, they would see that her pale cheeks had the faintest bit of pink in them. She blinked a coulple more times and then stretched her arms upwards, her back cracking a couple times. Then she stopped abruptly and grabbed hold of her ankles again, sitting across from him as she smiled pleasantly, completely unaware that he was watching her so closely for signs of hostility. In truth, the only time she'd ever fought on purpose was during her training. Otherwise any event had simply been caused by her power acting on its own when she was in trouble. She knew how to better control it now though, so didn't feel the need to worry. Besides, she didn't feel threatened by Yuri at all.

SUka blinked, she said she did not know...again. She never knew, but whatever, this time he would just walk off and she would make the decision of whether or not o follow him. He took just a few more moments, watching her hand move to her stomach but not noticing why, before he left and walked past her. "Hmm..." he made this noise as he walked past her, and it lasted for just a moment before he walked the rest of the way over to the large tree that they had climbed more than once now. He sat unde it and started to sit ther with his dagger in his palm...he spun it casually but quickly and watched it spin as he waited for her either to go over to Kana or to follow after him, maybe it would cause her less distress now that she was afraid of him if he spun his dagger. So He continued to do so and thought about how she must feel toward him...even though she was afraid of him would she still remember that he said he would protect her? That was all he was here for now. He would have been long gone if it had not been for her, since most of the rest of this place was of no interest to him at all. He had tld her he would protect her, and even if he had been the reason for her harm he woud protect her as best he could. If ridding her of him was the only way t do that then that would be how he would protect her...surely she remembered that. Fear couldn't really have that strong of a hold over her at the moment....could it? If she remembered this she would come. She'll come right?...Of course she'll come...she has to.......

Just as Snow told him to explain his brother's appearence Surion twitched uncomfortably. Someone else was here... "Wait a sec... Someone... Is watching me.

Zypher looked at his dear brother, his eyes gleaming in disbelief at what he had become. His brother looked almost like a spitting image of himself, just... A bit different. Zypher dashed all the way to his brother greeting him in a warm embrace saying "Brother, it's you! Surion, it's really you!!!" He sung cheerfully, looking at his brother happily.

Surion almost fell out of the tree as he met his brother, scaring the crap out of him he let out a small sigh as soon as he realized it was Zypher. He hugged Zyph tight, wanting never to let go to him, his brother was very close to him. "Br-brother? I-is that y-you?" Surion said, shocked to meet him. He closed his eyes and embraced his brother again. Surion was so happy that he couldn't even describe it. As his brother took a seat next to him they both started to chat, and after many minutes he looked at Snow, dashing to her side, hugging her too. "Snow, this is my bro, Zyph." Surion explained.

Yuri looked at her observantly for a few moere moments and then finally he smiled again, pushing all thoughts of suspicion or distrust out of his mind altogether as he decided it was not in her nature to be what he was afraid to trust. He nodded, "It was nothing at all, I'm glad to help when I'm needed. Especially if it's my fault, like this time." he finished and nodded crossing his arms and looking around the both of them...the flame was still there, and he'd adjusted to the lightiing...but there was no real reason for it to be there anymore. Maybe she would say something about it and he would have a good reason fro getting rid of it for the moment, but he did not see any other reason to, and he liked the feel of his powerful flames as they protected him from all else in the world....especially at times like this. He rarely ever was able to share his flame with another individual, not like this at least. The last time he had done so was with a girl named Cally as she lay in the hospital and he force fed her information about her baby which she did not even know had impregnated her. Then of course he had her memory wiped clean by Lance and temporarily wiped the memories of anyone else involved for the amount of itme it took for Lance to get to them. This was what Blue Lightning was for...(Sloth Lightning). He had used White Lightning when atacking Suka to save her, and this lightning was for Envy...so far he has not found it's special ability and has only used it to cause pain as with his Black Lightning (Wrath Lightning). That he'd saved her using an attack so powerufl and using so litle energy puszzled him, though he would talk to her about it later...right now he still needed to become friendily acquainted with her. "Has anything like that ever happened to you before?" he asked as vaguely as possible so that he could keep many options open for her answer....

Karin stood in place for a moment, still staring at the ground even as he walked away. She didn't move, just biting her lip as her ears remained in that half, drooping, half perked position. She closed her eyes, tail wrapping around her leg once more. She didn't know what to do... So she began cursing herself for pressing them to come to the picnic in the first place. If she hadn't asked him to do so, none of this would have happened! He hadn't even looked too willing to go in the first place. Her eyes drooped a bit more and then she sighed, turning to face Kana for a moment. The girl was sitting up now, looking to be her regular self.

Karin smiled weakly at her and then looked back at the grass for a few more seconds, just thinking quietly to herself. Then she frowned and raised her head, staring after Suka now. Her eyes focused on the twirling dagger for a moment and then she sighed to herself again, eyes narrowing, though not because she was angry. She didn't know why, actually... Her ears flattened back slightly now as she started towards him, moving at a snail's pace, or possibly less.

She reached him after a short while and just stood there, staring down at him almost blankly. She sort of wanted to get him away from Kana, though he seemed to be in control of himself now. But that didn't stop her paranoia. She tilted her head slightly, ears still flattened back warily, and she was angry at them for doing so, but couldn't get them to shift out of that position. "...training...?" was all she said, and she felt dumb for it so she quickly added on, "..should start when?" It still didn't sound very right to her, but she ignored it as she continued standing there a couple feet away, just looking.

A brief frown flashed across Kana's face, but faded a moment after. She still didn't see how it could be his fault when it was obviously hers. She'd obviously done something to annoy Suka, or else he wouldn't have attacked her. He was better than the wolf demons back home, and even Karin's friend, so she didn't think he'd do it randomly. She still didn't know what she'd done wrong, but was sure there was something. She needed to go apologize to him, but was sort of afraid to. Besides, he was busy talking to Karin right now. She stared over at the two of them for a second and then looked back at Yuri, her smile already back. Though, she seemed to grow confused for a second at his question and she tilted her head slightly, silent for a moment. But then she slowly nodded her head. "You mean... being attacked?" she asked softly, but somewhat curiously as well. That was the only thing she thought he could have meant. She quieted again just for a second as her right hand rose to clutch at her silver locket. Though, she thought she could at least answer him after what he'd done to help her. "Um, well..." she began hesitantly, staring at the ground now. "I was attacked a lot, actually... One of them even followed me here..." She shuddered suddenly, wincing very slightly as the scar across her back seemed to throb. It was just her mind playing tricks on her, but it always seemed to do so when she recalled things like this. "It was more the shock that I was coughing up blood than the actual pain," she admitted quietly. She was more than used to pain. The wounds Suka had inflicted upon her arms didn't really bother her, nor did the one on her palm. She sighed quietly, ears drooping. "That, and it reminded me of my mo-" Her voice broke so she took another breath and tried again. "My m-mom," she finished weakly, gaze blankly upon the grass.

"It's completely up to you Karin...if you ask me the we will start immediately, even if I am injured...I don't know why. I'll always be up to it, so it is you who decides when it will start...and whether you want it to start in the Living realm or the Nightmare Realm. With permission we can train in the Realm of Death later on aswell...that'll be fun..." he stopped himself from adding on 'oh so very very fun' because it was kind of creepy sounding in his mind and he did not want to frighten her out of that place, beause the amount of things you could learn in such a realm were phenominal...it was really hard to beleive some of the things that he himself had seen Yrui do in that realm. Teaching her there would be extraordinarily progressive for her...especially early on, though he doubted that Yuri would allow that. "So go ahead and just name some places, will get to each of them eventually, but just so you know, themore we train in the living realm the harder it will be for you in the Nightmare Realm..." he said this, gave her a nod and caught his dagger's blade to make it stop, having caught it wrong this time and it cut into his skin deep since it was such a quick drastic change from what was expected to happen. The blood ran down his hand at a very quick sped, but he did not worry about it much because he was only paying attention to her and ignoring himself completely.

Pander's bleeding stopped. Jangen and Dirge had been falling asleep but the vanishing of blood from the young immortals lips caught their attention. Jangen wiped the blood away that had congealed and splashed some water on his grandson's face. Dirge stood by and watched since their was nothing he could do in an eighteen foot tall wolf body.

Wha?...

You're gonna be ok kid. You're gonna be ok.

Trust us kid, no more of this on our watch.

The three laughed together. Three completely different generations of the family, all gathered and laughing at the youngest. Even Pander was laughing. He knew they would try, but in the end, there was nothing the two of them could do to stop him.

Karin looked towards him after a moment, her head tilted very slightly. Her hair was once more covering the right side of her face, and she didn't bother to move it at all. She just gazed downwards silently and then slowly nodded her head in understanding. Though, the Realm of Death did not sound very promising at all, and how could something with that name possibly be fun? She frowned slightly but said nothing about it as she simply nodded her head. She paused though, as she heard his later words. "Why would... it make it harder to be in the living realm?" she asked uncertainly. "But I...." she paused for a second. Was she seriously considering training with him after everything? But she still couldn't stop worrying about transforming and losing control of herself too. She wasn't sure if that could even happen, but it seemed pretty likely, at least in her mind. She sighed quietly and then shifted her gaze to his bleeding hand. She scowled at it as she began to speak. "I would've picked the Living Realm first, if you hadn't said that," she said quietly. "But now I guess... the Nightmare Realm." She was sort of reluctant in saying that, since it definitely hadn't been her favorite place last time they'd gone, but the Realm of Death just sounded even worse.

Yuri blinked a few times..."And she is dead?" it was the first thing that he thought of from the way she spoke of her mother...he was over the death of his mother, almost, probably because of all of the other deaths he has dealt with. Hers was the only one that was truly his fault (in his eyes) and though he was only five it affected him as it would have if he had accidentally killed her at a more understanding age. That he spoke of it in such an empathetical way and used such a calm tone when he asked that question showedthat he was used to such ideas...but compeltely covered up his parental past. His mother was dead, his father was dead too but he did not watch him die...he had seen his mother's death. His mother told him to find Kerei and so he did, but when he came back there was no time even with his speed now for him to do anything. Shadow had gotten to her as this was happening. It hadn't even taken him long, and after she had been dealt the final fatal blow from Shadow's weapon, Yuri had to watch his Aunt's death aswell. At least Rui did not have to see Lily die...Lily didn't have any time to mourn her sister's death before she had been done away with the same way. Yuri had seen much more than he needed to, but he was used to hearing about other people and the things that happened to them...it was not supposed to be in his nature to be unphased by most of them...but in recent years it had become that way. ANd now with Kana it was not much different...so he waited for her answer, and if he was right he would see if he could ask how and hen maybe he would know a little more about her. Just a little could make a big difference.

Kana nodded her head slowly, still watching the grass and a bit caught off guard by the sudden question. She thought he'd asked it rather bluntly, and her eyes widened slightly. For a moment she was silent, but then she took a deep breath and looked back up at Yuri. Her ears were drooping though, rather than tilted towards him like they normally would be. "It's been a year so... I have to go visit her..." Her voice was quiet now, the seemingly never ending cheerfulness completely gone. She sat perfectly still, tail curled around her waist instead of flicking behind her like regular. She looked back at the ground and began silently picking at a piece of grass. She didn't pull it out, but simply twirled it between her fingers, bending it this way and that as if trying to distract herself. Though, her mind wandered back to the time she'd spent with Koichi and his family, and how she'd gotten sick and just broke down and cried over it. She still felt bad about that, thinking she'd probably ruined everyone's good time. She couldn't help it though... Faling ill was one of her greatest fears. And when she'd started coughing up blood after Suka's attack, images had flashed through her head that she couldn't stop, and she'd broken down in tears again. She bit her lip, bowing her head a bit more towards the ground. Her bangs fell over her face, casting a shadow over her eyes.

[OOC: @ Spazz: If you give me a little time to post, the next post will be in the off campus thread Im creating at the moment called The Nightmare Realm ^.^]

@Krazy Kaori: Yuri listened closely to the way she spoke, and paid attention to the emotion that he felt coming from her. HE took note of each different tone on every syllable of every word, and her mood had obviously changed quite abruptly. He waited quietly for his own approval of whether or not he should ask her how, probably because if it pushed her away then he would not be able to make her the offer that came from what she said after she had nodded. He took a deep breath, let it out slowly, and then began to speak, "Would it be intruding too much if I asked how she died?" These words came in a very common tone of voice, and though backing them up was a lot of emotion it was not self-evident except for through the look in his eyes, which in her current position she could not see. He thought for a moment on how he would have felt before the second change in his eye color if someone had asked him a question like this. He was much more mature now then he was then, and though it was mostly of no importance to him then his emotions about the past now were what kept him going. If he was any less human on the inside he would soon be corrupted by the hatred of the life around him and though that was not the way that he had planned his life, this is how it has ended up. thoughts of the past are all that fill his mind, and even now as he waited for a reply from a present conversation, the conversation was of the past...there was nothing he did that had nothing to do with the past. Either he was thinking about the past, waiting for information about the past, involved in something that arose from things done in the past, trying to fix the past, or trying to forget it...A walking history book whose only dreams were of the pages between the covers be ripped out.

Kana remained silent for a couple seconds more before sighing quietly, something she never liked doing. She was sighing her happiness away and she needed to hang onto all that she could for times like this. From the way he'd so easily asked the first question, this one came as no surprise to her. She answered with only a slight hesitation before hand. "Sickness," she replied softly. "She got sick and... so did my daddy." She still called him daddy, since that's all she'd never called him by. He had passed away when she was only three years old and she hadn't started calling him anything other than that. So now, he was still her 'daddy' in her mind. She glanced up at him for a second, still biting her lip softly, though she stared for a moment into his eyes before looking away again. Her fingers continued playing with the grass, turning it around, bending and twisting it in all directions. But both her parents had been killed by a disease, which led her to fear falling ill herself. She was terrified she'd die in that same way. Both of her parents had died at young ages, mom in her late thirties, and daddy during his mid twenties. She herself was seventeen already, and the thought plagued her, though she gave no sign of it until she actually did get sick. Then she'd freak out rather badly.

Snow was surprised and didnt know what to do about this sudden embrace. She gasped and then gently patted Zypher's back, laughing lightly. "Well, It's nice to meet someone I suddenly feel like I know so well. Surion has told me a bit about you." She said smiling at him. "I'm... Snow." She said, extending a hand in his direction and tucking a peice of hair behind her elven ear. Snow looked up at Surion. After all of this brotherly talk, she was quite overwhelemed. What else could she be? In the same day she learned that she had a twin brother and she had nearly killed him and she met the brother of the person she loved dearly.

Pander was lifted up onto his feet by Dirge and Jangen. Pander wished he could get into a good sword fight. A nice fencing match or sparing session would make him feel much better.

Let's go find...

NO!

NOT NOW! You just finished bleeding. Lewt yourself heal fully first.

I just want a simple fencing match.

Dirge and Jangen shrugged, following as Pander walked out of the courtyard and back into the hallway of the school.
