Hello! I just joined. I'm a classical vocal major, about to enter my third year in college. I've been singing classically for about seven years now and I LOVE it! mrgreen I love all kinds of music, but classical music holds a special place in my heart. I'm also going to school to be a choral director and am in love with choral music. I also play piano. It's nice to meet everyone! heart

Hi everyone! I just joined the guild. I love classical music and I listen to pretty much any type from any period. (Though if I had to say a preference I'de say I liked the romantic period to neo-romantic/early modern period the most)

I've been playing the piano for 12 years and as of the end of this past school year I'm now a sophmore in college majoring in piano performance. Although the college I'm enrolled in isn't music oriented, in fact the music program is rather small, the piano professor there is phenomenal in my opinion and I'm more than satisfied getting my undergradute degree there.

I'm attempting to learn how to play the violin so once I get more time I should be able to really get going on that. Also, current;y my favorite composer is Sergei Rachmaninoff, but now I'm starting to lean towards Debussy, Liszt, or Grieg.

Hey peeps. I just joined the Guild and I heart LOVE heart classical music. I have played violin for two years and piano for eight years. However, piano is my main instrument and I love it. I also take music theory which may make me sound kind of nerdy emo but it is actually really fun. This is off topic but I love ninjas! ninja

My name's Anders, and I've been playing the cello for three years without a tutor. I'm very good at it if you ask me. I'm first chair in my school orchestra, and I'm thinking about joining a very advanced youth orchestra this August ( I'd probably be last or second-to-larst chair, but they're quite a bit older than I am ). My favorite composer is Yiruma, and I like to listen to video game music played on classical instruments. I also enjoy playing the theme from various movies 9i.e. Star Wars and Harry Potter). I hope that you'll all accept me here and I won't be that one social outcast who stands in a corner! 3nodding

Hello! I'm Nintendraw. I'm a high schooler about to go to college, and I've ben playing piano for over half my (short) life, and I really love Classical and Romantic music, though I play all eras. I especially love Mozart and Chopin because their songs are so beautiful and 'effortless'! I am currently playing Scarlatti, Beethoven, Bach, Stravinsky, Chopin, Grieg, and Ginastera. Greetings every one! I'm SweatshirtNinja, it's a pleasure to meet you all. Just like a lot of people I play piano, and have been for a very long time. I am also in my high school's Symphonic band. Originally I played flute (like every other girl seems to -_-") but eventually switched over to the clarinet. I don't know if this counts but I can play one song on the trombone, so technically I can play it, but if you handed me sheet music for I would probably just stare at you.

Anyways I'm a big fan of Mozart, Beethoven and Chopin.
On a musical side note, I am in Marching Band, and going to audition for drum major"I hope I don't fall on my face"I hope we can get along~

Hiya I'm new smile . I play the french horn for (for 11 years now) the electric bass (for 9 years) and the upright bass ( for 5 years).

Hi, I'm Neph (Short for Nephillim) and I'm a vocalist (prior experience with a-cappella) and a pianist. I used to take lessons but then the Yamaha Academy closed down due to a lack of teachers so from there on, I self-taught myself by watching Youtube Vids and Demos and also going to piano websites. I can now play at a Grade 6 Level. I aim to take up lessons again so as to improve on my current skills and a performance by one of my close friends has inspired me to want to learn how to play the Violin.

I look forward to making friends with everyone and enjoying my time spent here! biggrin
