Courtyard (South)

Taern drew closer, a little surprised that that Lena did not strike the man when he was open. Taern did not care either way and the matter and continued to approach the two.

When he got to them he was behind the wings of the man who possessed them. He moved around the black forms and managed to get to Lena's side. She was leaning up against the tree and didn't seem to be caring about much of anything.

With a very casual yet quiet voice, he spoke. "Hows it goin'?"

Bukotsu had appeared at the south courtyard after walking around the school, he was looking for his teacher who earlier was sleeping, "Tsuda?" Bukotsu said looking at his master sit up in the tree sleeping.

"Ahh, Bukotsu, its about goddamn time," Tsuda said hopping down from the branch as he patted himself off and stood up.

"Tsuda what are we to do now? I dont think i have any classes today," Bukotsu said as he walked towards the greenhouse.

"You heading off to that place again?" Tsuda said looking at him.

"Yeah, I'll be back later," Bukotsu said with some tone as if he needed to be alone.

"well if he is not your boyfriend. he is your body guard. i am not permitted to talk to you without his presence... i was just going to say i am sorry for the way i acted...it was rash and impolite. i am sorry for arguing with you. you have the right to your own opinon. as do i...i just wished to say sorry....thats all" Zasz looks at the man...
"understand, sorry. nothing else...i was not going to hurt her.." he turns around and takes flight to the north once more.

"Apparently, that guy doesn't know nothin'. I'm done doin' what I gotta do. What about you?", he said to Lena.

Taern seemed more laid back than usual. He's logical side of him didn't like it too much. It wanted to bring him back but Taern was probably getting lost somewhere in his mind. He didn't really realize so he just kept going about his business.

Ella groanded while she leaned against a tree trunk,her blood red eyes flashed with unbrideled anger at the world. But more at a particular person."Stupid b***h..what was she thinking?!?I would of died too.." Taking a long drag of her cig,she closed her eyes in deep thought.

That stupid Priest Boy making trouble for me,for the two of us. I should just kill him...I always have to clean up the s**t Joy makes.. Scratching one of her black cat ears,Ella played with the small gold loop earing she had piereced through it.

The wind blew her long red hair,making it loong like blood had been splattered on the grass and the bark of the tree she leaned against,hiding in its small shadow,as it was caught in the branches. Ella didn't bother to pull the red tresses from the knarly branches desperte grasp.

Ella blew out some smoke her eyes opening as a smirk crossed her face,a mnyx smile. If Joy could of taken him..it be as easy as stepping on some ******** bug..heh.

Lena couldnt help but chuckle. She glanced up at Tearn, a smirk flickering. "You scare dhim away. No matter." She shrugged slightly and finally stood, stretching slightly. "I'm done for now. But there doesn't seem anything else to do besides going to class. Or standing around. Battles can only do so much. There is absolutely nothing intellectual to do in this place." She grimaced and rubbed her temples. "Why did they even ask me to come?"

Lena said they which implied there was some connection between her and someone outside of the place he was in now. He retained any questions, trying not to irk Lena and focused on other things.

"So there are classes here. Intellectual enough for me.", Taern said. He wanted to turn around and start heading off like he normally did but something withdrew him.

He had no idea what he was doing and would look like a fool just waltzing into a class.

He turned back to Lena and said, "I guess you could show me around a bit if you don't mind."

Lena raised an eyebrow and looked at him. "You really expect me to know this place already?" She chuckled and shook her head. She moved ahead some. "Well I suppose I got nothing to lose. Besides getting us lost. Where would you like to go first?" A sarcastic glint echoed through Lena's eyes as she said it.

By Lena's remarks, he could imply she hadn't been here much longer than himself. It didn't help that she replied in the way she did but, she at least had to know something.

"Wherever's good."

Lena shrugged. "Then I suppose we could head over to the other courtyard I guess." Lena looked at Taern to make sure he agreed.

Taern thought for a moment and then gave a nod in reply. If something was happening, it'd be happening in the courtyards. He knew Ria well enough that it was the most popular spot in Ria High.

Lena grinned and moved toward the direction of the entrance. They'd have to go around to get to the otehr courtyard. She didn't mind so much but knowing her, they probably end up getting lost somewhere.

How strange it was to have a place such as the courtyard to be so silent. Usually the rumbling of battle or the chatter of conversation always filled the air. But, this day for once it was...silent. How unusually it was. It actually made Jacob rather uneasy as he entered the courtyard grounds with the bag slung over his right shoulder. The thirteen year old glances around the courtyard to see if he could catch sight of any life at all. The lush green grass crunching softly beneath the sole of his boots. A gentle breeze came on by making his snow hair wave about. The blue goggles he wore made sure that his hair didn't get completely messed up though.  

[The Verse]

It was quiet. Too quiet. The kind of quiet that grates on nerves and makes you tense and stretches your sanity to limits untold, making you want to scream just to hear -something- beyond the silence. Just the kind of place for a man like this. He walked in from the north, from the other part of the Courtyard it appears, or perhaps from the Library as he is holding a book. Black in color, with white lettering etched into it, it bears the title 'Cybernetics and Genetics, A perfect couple. By Dr. Raven Vanzer.' and is held with one hand, the other in his pocket. Always in that god forsaken labcoat pocket. His left to be exact. He stops in the near center of the courtyard to flip a page, then moved forward toward a bench.

He collapses on said bench with a bit of a thoughtless drama, sighing as he does and reaching up with the book to push his glasses up, and then resume reading. My my my, how his knowlage had expanded in the...Ten years since he'd written this little scrap of knowlage. He flipped another page, reading this one slowly and grinning at the end. He chuckled softly, taking the book and pushing it into his lab coat and then leaning back, sighing softly. The quiet wasn't even affecting him, in fact, he enjoyed it. It was almost like a funeral. This caused a macarbe grin, which was then silenced by a chuckle.  

[Scytheress]

It would have been hard for the doctor not to notice the coming of the girl who's presence he had just recently left. Scytheress was ambling across the courtyard with a careless indifference to the ground her wings were scouring. Just two of her wings were visable now and they were relaxed down to her sides, neglected and dragging partially fanned out, and on a whim Scythe had implimented the power given by her ninth and tenth wings; disintengration. So anything that currently touched the wings would be turned to absolute ash, her own parts as well. Soon her wings were nearly fully extended downward into the ground and burning along perfect crevases and the feathers that fell off her wings descended into oblivion and on.

Her exit of the Library proceeded her partner's but not by much. She'd purposely not walked too fast to give him ample ability to catch up but she didnt factor in the detour one would need to take around her tracks as herwings were at an angle and the ground was beginning to cave in on itself. The Fox-Elf was nearing the bench Dr. Raven was on when she let her voice ring out in a pleasant yet disturbing chorus.

"Shutting my eyes, I'm dying inside... I've lost myself. A thousand times. But i can remain In spite of the pain. I'll cross this line.. Just one last time.
