More Meteor Showers Bring Even Stranger Powers. (O/A)

Deora was about to ask Kerana if she wanted to leave or wait with Larry, but she was surprised to hear Larry ask her a question. She'd rarely spoken directly to Larry, and the fact that he could speak full sentences now still caught her by surprise. It took her a moment to answer. "Oh, uh, it's going okay, I think." She held a hand out flat, wiggling it side to side to show she was uncertain. It didn't feel like she was learning as fast as some other people had with their powers, but she was much farther along than she was when Gidget and Trinity found her.

"I can lift some water into the air now, and I can make just about any wave I want in the pools." She tried to hide the proud smile that crossed her lips. To go from trying to hide her power, to being able to learn about it so freely, she was almost ashamed to make any progress, as if her family would find out and come get her. She felt like bragging to Larry about her progress, but wanted more to change the subject.

"I'm glad to see you're feeling better. It must be nice to be able to think clearly now."

Oarry nodded to Kerana as she excused herself. He looked back to Deora and smiled. "It's crazy. I haven't been able to make sentences without a headache for so long. There is no more pain...none. I do wish I didn't sound like a giant. I'm ten and I sound like the Hulk."

The nurse smiled politely and led Kerana to the room. "Hey sweetie, that young lady you we're talking about it here to see you."

Alec turned his head over toward Kerana and the nurse. His hair was still matted from the chrysalis fluid, and his body was still as small and weak as it always had been. His eyes were bloodshot and exhausted, but alert.

When he saw Kerana he smiled. Even though his mouth and nose were covered by the mask, his eyes gave the smile away. He was so overcome with emotion that he could only gawk at her silently.

The lights in the chamber of the began to flicker as the bio electricity surged through out the still floating egg illuminating the humanoid figure inside. It had to hatch soon. It knew the inhabitants of this place would not allow for it to remain inside it's egg for long.

As Trinity, Theonis and Alexaviar arrived at the facility they notice the lights flickering. "That's not good." Though there was a lot of damage to the facility because of Gadget's explosion. The lights were stable until just now.

She immediately texted Gidget:
[The lights r flickering. We don't have much time...Where r u?]

Kerana

When Kerana saw the boy she recognized him. She stepped back, gasped and covered her mouth in disbelief. There was no doubt in her mind that it was Alec. Conidering his delicate state she drew close to him and asked, "Alec is it really you?... Oh, how I've missed you... especially when I found out how you've felt about me. I wanted you back so badly I even went out there to reach out to you inside of Legion..." She looked down at his hand. "I can't believe you're really here... you're back" she smiled letting a tear of joy crawl down her cheek.

Alec slid his hand over to Kerana's and hooked his index finger around hers. Such an action used to be unthinkable to him. But for all intents and purposes he was dead. He had squandered his feelings for Kerana in secret. Now he had been given a second chance.

Alec used his free hand to slip the oxygen mask off of his face. He weakly said, "Thank you."

As Trinity, Theonis and Alexaviar arrived at the facility they notice the lights flickering. "That's not good." Though there was a lot of damage to the facility because of Gadget's explosion. The lights were stable until just now.

Gidget had just hailed the elevator when Trinity's message came through. She replied, [3 out. Waiting for elevator. Alex have any ideas?]

Gidget looked over to the others and asked, "Things are heating up down there. You guys ready?"

Annie shrugged, "Not really, but more so than I suppose I was once thanks to what that child did for me. Can you also send a message and tell Alexavier that he will have to mentally shield me since I can't use one of your devices and I'll owe him something in return for the favor." Annie cracked her neck and added, "He can decide as long as it is reasonable... be sure to add the reasonable clause, though. I trust him I just only trust him up to a point."

Annie hadn't forgotten him staring at her after she materialized completely naked from liquid form. While she might joke about it and it didn't bother her nearly as much as it bothered Gidget or Trinity (after all, Annie could have rematerialized in her clothes if she had took the extra few seconds to think things through), she didn't have interest in Alexavier that way. She felt an affinity for him because of Daedalus, but in the end he was a shifty character.

"Ready as I'll ever be." Ako said. He rotated his shoulder, the one that had been dislocated a time or two, making sure he wouldn't have any lock-ups. While he still had the physique of someone a few years younger than he actually was, years of fighting were proving to be a little much for even a meta-human body. The week or so of rest he'd just gotten was a nice change of pace, but he was worried that he might have become too relaxed. He hadn't actively used his power in a while, and it was possible he may have slipped a little during the break.

He shrugged the thoughts aside, knowing they weren't any good. The break hadn't been that long, and his time with Gidget had kept him active. Thanks to her, there was only one part of him that had gotten stiff during his time off.

He smirked at that thought, looking to the woman walking just in front and to the side of him. He still didn't know his way around very well, and was perfectly fine with letting her lead. He wanted to ask what they could be up against, what danger the egg could possess, but he'd learned one thing from being a Meta and dealing with others; you never knew what you would be up against. Instead he just asked; "Are you?"

Alexavier arrived with the group and whistled. "Damn there a dinosaur in there or something?" He said out loud." Oh I know! Imma poke it!" He lifted up a piece of metal laying near the egg with his Telekinesis. Just as he was about to poke it, a surge of electricity hit it. The piece of metal disintegrated. He frowned and gave Theonis a look.

Dude what the hell were you thinking poking it like that?! Theonis thought. But knew Alexavier could hear it.

"Why shouldn't I? Well good news and bad news. He didn't attack us and his telekinetic powers already rival my own. But hey look it on the bright side. It might think Trinity'll be it's mom if that's the first thing it'll see." He shrugged it off.

Trinity narrowed her eyes at Alexavier "Riiight and I totally give off that mom vibe... Frankly I don't think it needs a mother especially if it can defend itself very well. It already survived an explosion before hatching... "

Trinity saw the text from Gidget Great... right now I think he's the last guy I want ideas from.... She took a deep breath and asked, "Aside from poking it with a stick or taking a gamble that the first thing it sees would be its mom. This thing is already is rivaling your own power. Could it be possible that what is stronger in one aspect would weaken another?" She hopped that Theonis would contribute considering that this is the sort of thing he'd like talking about.

Alexavier shrugged. It seemed he really did not grasp the concept of fear or precaution.

Theonis however did pick up on that. " I see what you mean but I am not sure if that is even the case here. Normal logic doesn't apply here I think. I mean look at junior. He is a mix of Alec, Cas and Shane. Strongest Meta around according to Gidget's readings. He should have all of their powers if not weaker. Not the case. Cassandra picked him up and if he had her power she shouldn't be able to do that. Hell maybe Shane's biomass or some second generation Meta just defy logic." Theonis explained his thoughts." Hell might even have all of the strengths but no weakness."

"I don't have a weakness besides my normal body. Cassandra's the opposite aaaaaaaand I see your point. You think a lot you know that?"

Trinity smiled at Theonis assesment, That's my man. "The egg may have all the strengths. However the egg's weakness may not be obvious right now it could be something unrelated to its power." She turned to Alexavier, "Your son was able to detect it nearing its completion. The question is how? Is there a connection between him and the egg and if so could it be possible that watever is in that egg also caries similar DNA?... But what if instead of Shane... it's a combination of you Cas and Legion..." Trinity on that train of thought in silence. "Whatever the case we will need to keep our distance until we can find a weakness."

"Just wait for the rest it seems."

"Legion was a mind. A personality not flesh. The Biomass was all Shane's DNA Legion was just in control because of me." Alexavier replied. But he refrained from any other attempts to prod the egg.
