Yuri raised his brow and when he was sure that she was referring to him he smiled a bit more and nodded ina gesture that was to mean she was welcome to it. He looked at the two of them, and though it was not for as long as it could have been, Natsumi was lving and breathing again, with full emotion and a personality like no other person he'd known so far other then Kana. He was thinking that Kana would owe him big time for this, but when he saw them together he decided that that was being too selfish even for someone trying to be selfish. If he needed something out of it he would justh ave to hope that it would come to him...because at the moment it was not quite obvious what he even would have wanted from them. So he stood there and watched, accepting his thanks and waiting for either a reason to leave or a reason to do more than watch.

Kana fought back more tears as Natsumi sat down on the nearby bench, pulling Kana gently down beside her. Thens he once more pried her off and smiled at her, simply watching her for a moment. Kana had her hands clenched tightly together, set in her lap, as she stared down at them. Her eyes were slightly wide, as if she were in a slight state of shock yet again. Natumi just laughed and grabbed her hands, holding them between her own. "So," she began, trying to think of what to say. She just felt like clinging to her daughter, but that wouldn't accomplish anything, now would it? So she smiled and continued speaking. "You still have the house right?" she asked gently, wondering if the preperations she had made held true. Kana bobbed her head up and down slowly. "It's still th-there," she mumbled quietly. "But right now I'm staying at a sc-school. It's where I met Yuri..." Kana fell silent for a second, and then suddenly lifted her face, staring at her mom with a bright smile upon her face. "I-I met some others too!" she cried rather loudly, seeming strangely excited. "They taught me how to control my power so I won't hurt people anymore! And they keep me company, and Yuri does too! He sav-" She cut off suddenly, not sure if she should reveal this. But she couldn't stop it now that it was already mostly out. "He helped me," she finished, altering her words. Natsumi laughed at the change in attitude, glad that at least hadn't changed. She did notice the abrupt stop, but didn't question it. She instead just patted Kana softly on the head. "Well that was nice of them," she said softly. Then she looked back over at Yuri. "I suppose I have more to thank you for now," she began. "So thank you, for looking after my daughter." She wasn't entirely sure if that was the whole case, but that didn't stop her from speaking.

Yuri watched and tried to keep up with them, but it was not long before he was lost and stopped paying attention. He moved his attention to the trees...so many trees and none that looked like they would work to him except for the oaks. Cherry Blossoms wouldn't work, Weeping Willow leaves wouldn't work, Globe Willow trees usually didn't work...but younger Oak trees did and those were the ones he was looking for at the moment. There wre none that he could see just yet...sad really. But he was brought away from his silent search when he was addressed again. His eyes flicked to her very apathetically and he let her finish before even taking in what she was saying. When he finally had, he did not completely understand what to say in return...so he explained what had happened instead of whatever might have truly been best. "...I stopped a possibly fatal fight and healed her...That's it I think...I'm glad to help I guess..." he felt odd replying in that way....but he could not find anything better to say so that was all he let out and decided to stick with it quietly. He pulled his hand out of his pocket, and slippped it beind him, grabbing the end of the scythe and holding it completely horizontal as he continued to lean against it .

Natsumi watched Yuri quietly as he responded, and then slowly looked back at Kana. She remained silent for a couple more seconds and then shook her head slightly. It seemed things really didn't change too much. She'd gotten out of their home and to a different school it seemed, yet she was still plagued with trouble. This time it seemed she was making more friends than before, at least. She paused, and then hugged her once more, closing her eyes for a second. Neither of them really knew what to say. It was like another regular moment at home, where Kana would come home and her mom would just comfort her. Words weren't needed. But after a short while, Kana slowly pulled away and smiled up at her mom. "I'm ok though," she said softly and then began looking around at their surroundings. She hadn't really taken much notice of them before, too distracted. But now she smiled again, looking back at her mom. She was glad she was in such a pleasant looking place.

OOC: [to dark Miko on page 251] sorry cant wait any longer.

IC: Mitoko kept pacing waiting for Myou to say anything. He finnaly gave up and walked to the edge of the courtyard and turned to her.
"I'm sorry" he started "I must go, I wish I could wait her untill you collected yourself enough to want to talk to me, but I just dont have the time right now."
He started walking towards the training hall after relizing he should get some practice in. He gave a last sorrowful look back at Myou and decided to tell her where he was going.
"Im off to the training hall, if you want to join me later." he yelled back to her.
He ran off out of the courtyard.

So Yuri stood there, feeling content with the reaction that Kanahad to seeing her mother and happy that she was able to act normally with her. There were times when he had regretted helping people, but with just recently that had not really been the case so he did not need to worry about that at all. He felt he could stnad there for the entire time that they spent togeter, and still not have anything to do rosay. He was only speaking when spoken to...and though he had a few questions to ask he would not ask them adn would dismiss them becuase he already knew the answrs wou.ld not come smoothly. He waited there for the two of them to continue, ut after Kana's casual reply he did not hear any more dialogue for the moment...if there was no dialogue then whatever would happen between them would simply happen. And though modst of this did not make very much sense, and there were probably a few typos ("ut after Kana") it filled up enough space for me to be content with the reply even thouh Yuri is awfully bored and has nothing to do and really none of this makes any sense at all...I might aswell have written a story about the history of Oak trees instead of all of this nonsense. Oh well, I've reached the end of the post box and are satisfied with the response so-Yuri simply continued to wait drifting off to sleep, in which he dreamt of there being some sort of narration that went with his entire life...how Nightmarish!

Kana and Natsumi spent the next four days talking, barely taking pauses to rest, but Kana did pass out every now and then. She couldn't stay up for five days straight, especially after not getting much of a rest after being attacked and healed again. But they talked all about what Kana had been up during the year since they'd seen each other, the good and the bad, and Natsumi gave random advice just like she always used to do. It was almost like old times, as if nothing had even happened. But, towards the end of the fifth day, Kana suddenly remembered something and looked over towrads Yuri. Honestly, she was a bit surprised he was still here. But, hadn't he said that it only went until two days after the event? So, that would mean her time was almost up, wouldn't it? She suddenly closed her eyes, leaning forward as she clung to her mom, who looked down at her in surprise before tapping her on the head. "Hey, what's wrong?" she asked gently. She knew that this couldn't possibly be permanent, but she didn't know the exact time. She'd have thought Kana would've left long before.
PostPosted: Sat Sep 09, 2006 1:32 pm
Yuri looked at her and for the first time in five days he spoke up again. "What's wrong is probably that time is near up...it's the last day that you'll be here together for another year at least. If she stays then at the end of your time in your Haven she will be presumed to be amongst the dead and her soul will be lost to this realm for the rest of.....well forever." he finished this, thought over it..and then nodded. He opened the door that he stood near, and waited for however long it would take Kana to come...if she would come at all. He hoped she would though, because she had a lot to live for and this should not be where she dies...he had kept that part from her because he did not want it to keep her from weighing her stay with her mother the correct way. Now he simply waited for her to leave with him into the entrance room so that they could return to the living realm and not have to worry about this place anymore. He was happy that she'd been happy, but it was time to leave soon and he was not going to let her stay and die...he'd done that once but that was a mistake on his part because he had not known the difference.

Kana clung a bit tighter to her mom as she heard Yuri's words, keeping her eyes shut tightly. She hadn't known about that. She wondered for a moment if it'd have affected her decision to come, but decided that wasn't worth worrying about right now. Natsumi stared at Yuri for a second and then gently began prying Kana off of herself again. There was no way she'd allow her daughter to end up staying here and letting herself die. "Come on sweetie," she said softly. "We've had our fun, don't you think? We were just lucky to get this chance at all." Kana remained silent for a moment and then slowly nodded her head up and down before pulling back slightly. "Y-yeah..." she whispered faintly. She had to go back, so she wouldn't let her new friends down, and Karin as well. What would she say? She didn't want her last image of Karin to be the girl in tears, and the last of Koichi being him looking really angry. She still didn't let go though, and remained clinging for a while until Natsumi finally got her to let go. She took Kana's hands into her own and squeezed them gently. "Don't be sad," she murmured. "This is a much better parting than last time, don't you think?" Kana paused and then slowly nodded her head again, standing alongside her mom as the woman helped her up and began leading her towards Yuri and the door. Kana kept her eyes down the entire time, watching her bare feet as they passed over the grass.
PostPosted: Sat Sep 09, 2006 3:15 pm
Yuri waited until Kana had come within arms length and then he grabbed her gently and pulled her inside the room that was the enterance into the haven and closed the door slowly so that he would give her a chance of seeing her mother one last moment before it was time for them to leave. He stood there and once it was closed he did not even wait more then one second before grabbing her and holding her close to him as he ported them back to the living realm, in the exact place that they had been when they had left...He let go of ther then and dropped his scythe and let it disappear into whereever it went when he dismissed it. He did this and then looked to her "I guess you have someplace you need to be now?" he asked to make sure that he was not intruding on her plans now that she was back and they were back in what was present time. He had no clue if the rest of the world had gone by in normal time or if those five days were not really existent in this realm yet...it was true that if they tried to go back they would end up in the wrong place, and of this he was certain, but what could they possible gain from it being then anyway? Whatever her answer was would dictate what he was going to do next no matter what time it was...so he really had no need for the knowledge of what time it was...Both would leave him with an open calendar.

Razzer yelled as the glass behind him cracked and then shattered. The giant wasps, their job done, vanished into thin air amidst puffs of grey smoke. The doomed mage flailed his tentacles futilely as he plummeted from his dormatory down towards the ground - the hard ground - below. His dormatory was near top of the dormatories area, and so was a good hundred feet or more above the ground. He yelled again. There wasn't enough time for him to teleport before he'd hit the ground. There was no nearby water, so he couldn't draw a cushion of it for him to land on. There was nothing to break his fall. And so he plummeted.

He hit the ground on his back, slamming into it with such force that he dug a small trench into the ground. The moment he hit he felt excruciating pain, and a moment later he was unconcious.
PostPosted: Sat Sep 09, 2006 4:13 pm
Kana walked very slowly, her feet dragging across the ground as she didn't even put in enough effort to lift them completely. Then she looked up again, her eyes slightly wide, as Yuri pulled her away from her mom. She reached towards the woman, but she was already too far away, on the other side of the door. She stared, her eyes wide as she bit her lip, watching the door slowly closing as her mom simply smiled happily from the other side, one hand lifted slightly in a wave. Kana clutched at her locket, closing her eyes as the door closed. She took a shaky breath, one that caught in her throat as Yuri grabbed her again. Even her distress didn't stop her face from flushing slightly red. She opened her eyes a few seconds later, blinking a few times as she stared around to find they were back where they'd started. Or, it seemed that way at least. She remained rooted in place as he released her and simply stared at the ground for a moment, her ears drooping sadly. But then she frowned, squeezing her locket before letting her arm drop by her side. Her mom had been right though. This parting was nothing like the last, and she'd gotten a chance to do something she'd thought impossible. She looked up at Yuri, and then shook her head very slightly. "I'm not... sure now," she said quietly. She had planned on visiting her mom, but now she'd been able to do even more than that. She bit her lip and then bowed her head low, closing her eyes. "Thank you very much," she said quietly.

Naomi still sat perched on the edge of the fountain, blue gray hair falling somewhat messily around her shoulders and down her back. She blinked as she stared into the water, her small feathered wings fluttering slightly against her back. She trailed her fingers across the surface, but her body gave a jolt of alarm as she heard someone shout. Her blue gray eyes widened as she jumped to her feet, staring around. He wasn't that hard to spot. Her eyes grew even larger as she saw what appeared to be a squid with a human head falling downwards.

She jumped upwards, her white feathered wings instantly expanding until they were over five feet in length. She caught herself while in the air and darted towards him, but still arrived to late. She shut her eyes tightly as he hit the ground and then quickly opened them as she settled by his side. "Ar-are you ok...?" she began, trailing off as she saw he was unconsious. Well, of course he was. He'd just fallen from so high up!

Frowning at herself for not getting to him in time, Naomi quickly placed her hand on one of the tenticles, not at all bothered by it. She closed her eyes as her hand began to glow with a faint, blueish light. This light drifted like a slow moving fog, spreading along the male and then sinking below his flesh. This was her healing powers as work, as she tried to heal any internal damage he may have suffered. Once he was fixed enough to awaken, she'd be able to ask him more specifically what hurt so she wouldn't have to tire herself out quite as much.

The things Razzer saw while he was unconcious he'll never be able to remember once he awoke. But he wished he could have remembered.

Then, with a jolt he awoke. Every bone in his body ached, and he yelled out in pain. He would have writhed in pain, but he was too broken to be able to move. Razzer was so busy hurting that it took him several moments to notice the hand on his tentacle - the which was currently bent in a very awkward manner. Then again, all of his tentacles were. Surprisingly, just as he noticed the hand and his eyes travelled up to its owner, the pain began to lessen. Not by much, but it began to lessen. He gasped for breath. It felt like his chest had caved in, crushing his lungs. He looked up at the girl. With her great feathery wings, she looked like an angel of some sort. But, Razzer thought, I'm not dead! Am I? He gasped for air, and managed to choke out a few words in between gasps.

"Who... are... you...?"

Naomi jumped slightly as well as she felt him jolt awake. She didn't tighten her grip on his tenticle though, afraid she'd hurt him. Instead she just left her pale hand settled lightly upon it, trying to quickly heal him, but knowing it would be slow going, probably. She closed her eyes in an attempt to speed up the process as she heard him speak. She just nodded her head, smiling gently as she kept her eyes closed. "My name is Naomi Takahashi," she said gently. "Don't talk or move, ok?" She continued healing him, the faint light growing a bit brighter blue it spread out and sank more quickly into him.

She targeted his chest and ribs now, quickly rebuilding them and his lungs. Based on his difficulty in speaking, she'd gathered that they must have been injured in some way. She wanted to ask how he'd managed to let himself fall, but would wait until he was healed fully, or at least enough that he could move and speak freely again. That would still take a lot of effort on her part. Her wings tucked lightly against her back when a sudden thought came to her. "Oh!" she cried. "You're not dead, ok? So please don't be alarmed. I'm a student here as well."
