More Meteor Showers Bring Even Stranger Powers. (O/A)

Annie followed his directions, her eyes on the road, she frowned at his words. "Then, I'm jealous of you... having a sense of purpose, I don't have that. When I escaped from Daedalus it was to save my son, who quite frankly I don't completely have the affections a mother should have towards, and get my revenge for what they did to me. When I found Shane, I hoped a miracle might happen and I could get a happy ending: obviously that didn't happen. Besides, people like me don't deserve happy endings."

"I've considered seeking out Daedalus and attacking them, destroying them as much as I can until they are finally able to stop me, but Shane's request keeps me from doing that. It is ironic that you, who practically no one likes or trusts, can find a sense of purpose. But me, who they give the benefit of the doubt, doesn't have one." She shrugged slightly. "I think Gidget and the others like to think I'm the same person I was before. People change and not always for the better."

Trinity tossed a set of keys to Annie, the key chain had a letter and a number to the car it belonged to. She pulled out a drawer with a whole bunch of cell phones in it. She walked over to Annie and said, "Here. These phones have access to the global contact list of Valhalla."

Theonis made his suggestion to Gidget and an idea came to mind. She did manage to capture some information on the thing's power signature. "Gidget, do you think you could pin point the proximity based on the readings you captured from the egg?"

Gidget laid her head on Ako's shoulder while she answered Trinity in a very dejected manner. "Yea, I can manage that I think. Go ahead and head out, I'll send you the information in a bit."

"You got me all wrong woman. I'm trying to find that. Right now I want to know why that thing exists. I am blank. What I know of the world is what I stole. How do you live your life? How do you communicate normally without offending anyone. I don't know any of that. I used to be autistic before all of this. Living a life centered around my own little world and that's it. That is how I lived my life and how I most likely will continue to. All right pull over here." Alexavier said as they entered a crowded shopping district." There is one thing I know in my life that is true. I am a mess" He said as he got out of the car.

Annie laughed as she got out of the car, "I see. I think I'm the wrong person to ask about living one's life properly or how to communicate without offending anyone. I spent so much time with Daedalus that I lost track of a lot of things..."

Pushing her hair behind her ear she said, "So where is it? Is it close? I'm not happy with the idea that it might be here around so many people..."

"Hmmm? Oh no it's in a warehouse a bit farther away. I just wanted some clothes. Unless you'd prefer to see me in this robe." Alexavier explained as if it was the most normal thing on the planet. " Hmm..maybe I'm mixing up my priorities." He muttered to himself.

As he entered the store he instantly took control of all the people in there. There was no need for words. They scuffled around the place taking what they thought looked best one him. In the end he went with a tuxedo. Tie and everything. When he was changing in the booth all the people in the store lined up outside of the booth facing each other. When he emerged they all took a deep bow as he passed. Being treated like a king wasn't so bad. As he left, he snapped his fingers and the people became themselves again, wondering what just happened.

"I'll take you shopping some other time if you'd like Annie but I feel it's close to hatching. It's best if we walk the remainder. It's hard to reach by car"

Annie raised a brow as she followed him, waiting for him to get whatever clothes he chose, "I would say you are mixing up your priorities." When he selected a tuxedo she rolled her eyes, the two looked like maybe a government agent and some superhero with him in a tuxedo and her in her catsuit.

As they headed towards the warehouse she ignored his comment about him taking her shopping and said, "I want your honest opinion on something. Do you think that whatever is in that egg is a threat? Like I said, the logical and safe thing to do is take it out, regardless, but applying those principles we should probably be taken out too."

"Sounds a lot like Daedelus talk. But to be honest I don't know. Power wise yes other I don't know. You can sense aura so you should be the one who'd know if it's a threat." Alexavier led the way." That kid wasn't a threat but everyone was scared of the egg hatching. Maybe that's just because it's that much stronger."

"It is a lot like what Daedalus says, that is why I am not inclined to jump right into destroying that thing. But about my abilities to sense auras, I have been wrong before," Annie answered, "and I can be manipulated. I know a metahuman who was able to manipulate my emotions and convince me to stay at Daedalus much longer than I intended."

After a few long moments, Ako asked quietly; "Should I go help, or do you want me to stay with you?"

He knew that it probably wasn't the best thing to ask, but he knew he had to. He wanted nothing more than to stay with Gidget, but at the same time, he knew the others would likely need his help to deal with the egg. It was a tough choice, but when it came down to it, humanity did have a little priority over Gidget's emotional well-being. Not much, to Ako the loner, but as much as he disliked the way most people acted, he knew there was still value to their lives.

Trinity nodded confirming she understood her order. Even though Gidget isn't technically her boss right now she was still used to thinking like that. She stood next to Theonis and held him tight. They sank into their shadow, she kissed him hard. "You have no idea how long it seemed since I was holding thing that in. " she started heading toward Valhalla's exit. "Any idea where to go besides outside of Valhalla?"

Theonis welcomed her embrace and kiss. He thought that his sex drive was higher since he was younger but boy was he proven wrong. Her claw marks were still on his back. Theo responded to her question.

"Hmmm we'll have to consider the speed of your shadow traveling. But if it hasn't surfaced by now then it could be anywhere I guess. I'd say some place spacious and calm. Abandoned even. That's if this thing is using normal logic. Empty houses, apartments or even warehouses. Maybe even construction sites. Plenty of choices."

Trinity nodded as he pointed out the possibilities. Then something occurred to her, Where are Annie and Alexavier heading toward? Considering Alexavier's psychic abilities he may be able to detect it. "Just thought of something... There's probably a good reason why Annie chose to go with Alexavier. He may be able to detect it with his psychic ability..." Using her smart phone she used a tracking app that had access to a database to all vehicles that belonged to Valhalla. She plugged in C3 which was the car she loaned Annie. "Bingo.... hmmm... this is concerning... they are over at a mall... This could be bad. " She starts heading in that direction.

"You mean the fact that Alexavier is there or that they were heading that way? Not sure if its wise to let that guy wander around in a mall."

"Heh, yeah... considering what we saw in the security cameras. At least if he pulls something like that there it will be easier to find them in some way.

However, what I'm really worried about is if they detected the egg over there. Now that would put some lives at risk." they emerged from an alley near by. They were able to see the car they arrived in, it was easy to tell because of the Valhalla license plate. "Looks like we're close. See if you can see them up there. I'll go into the mall and see if I can find anything there...not clothes" she said that last part with a smirk.

"Ahh Bertrand, that guy. Well he's a steamy puddle now so if that's what happens with people who mess with your mind I'd have to be careful in there, wouldn't I?" Alexavier joked as he continued to lead the way. Not before long they wound up at a abandoned warehouse. Door hanging by its hinges. "I am around 92% sure it's in here."

"See if you can find a good tight miniskirt. I'd love to see you in one of those. Latex'd be" Theonis nodded with a playful grin. He then turned around and faces the alley. Attempting to...'feel' his surroundings with his new-found power, he tried to locate them but it proved to be more difficult than he could handle at the moment. It was strange feeling where things stood or even how to map it in his head. So instead he jumped up towards the roof with his hands in his pockets. Theo focused on his eyes to enhance them but so far no luck.
