More Meteor Showers Bring Even Stranger Powers. (O/A)

Annie glanced at Alexavier and said, "Actually, Berchant manipulated my emotions in the end. It really wasn't that hard. I did sort of want him dead, he just had to give the extra push. Shane was going to destroy his intelligence, I guess Berchant rather death over being incompetent or a vegetable the rest of his life. Still, acid eating me inside out isn't up there on my list of ways to die."

"But, yeah, I would say that it is a warning to stay out of my mind. I'm an open book. And you don't need to control me. I am on your side," Annie said as she stopped in front of the abandoned warehouse.

She sighed and said, "How should we approach this thing. I could go in alone in puddle form and scout this place out. If I'm lucky it won't notice me."

"Nah that thing is like me. Pretty sure it already knows we are here. Those two lovers are here too." Alexavier said as he pointed with his thumb behind him. "Sensing minds is a great thing to have."

The multitude of cracks seemed to converge to one point on the egg.

"I figured as much about that thing," Annie sighed before muttering a few curses under her breath. "The last people I want to see is those two. Well, maybe we can get in and figure things out before they interrupt us." She took Alexavier's hand and pulled him after her towards the warehouse and said, "Come on. Let's see if we get to make new friends or kill something. Or get killed, there's always that option, too..."

"See if you can find a good tight miniskirt. I'd love to see you in one of those. Latex'd be" Theonis nodded with a playful grin. He then turned around and faces the alley. Attempting to...'feel' his surroundings with his new-found power, he tried to locate them but it proved to be more difficult than he could handle at the moment. It was strange feeling where things stood or even how to map it in his head. So instead he jumped up towards the roof with his hands in his pockets. Theo focused on his eyes to enhance them but so far no luck.

Trinity grinned as Theonis seemed to made it apparent that he's a legs kind of guy. She normally wouldn't wear any form of dresses or skirts especially because of what her job entails. No time to worry about being able to move in it, not to mention how vulnerable she'd be considering how much skin is revealed.

As she entered the mall she noticed there was a group of people that seemed to be dazed and confused. She figured that may be a good starting point. She went into the store and noticed the formal attire. Perhaps she could shoot two birds with one stone. Business first though. She went to the cashier and flashed her Valhalla security badge and said. "Trinity Smith, Head of Security of Valhalla. I need to track down a couple of metas and it would be helpful if I could take a look at your security cameras."

The cashier seemed to snap out of it when she was being questioned. " Hmmm ah, sorry. I seemed to have zoned out there a bit." She called another employee to take over at the register. The woman then guided Trinity to the back where the security room was. It was mainly just a room with the monitors.

"It's right here Ms Smith. If there is anything else, just let me know." The woman left to give Trinity some space.



Alexavier and Annie entered the warehouse with Annie leading him by hand. The slightest sound set of a reaction of pigeons flying away. Leaving some feathers to fall down. The egg was right in the middle of the room. A small beam of light shone upon it, small dust particles reflected the light.

"Well I'd say it's pretty damn close to hatching."

Trinity thanked the woman for her co-operation and took a look at the monitors. She looked at the store's entrance and rewind it a bit until she saw Annie and Alexavier. Then saw the ruckus they caused, over a tuxedo? Well apparently the guy seemed to have good taste, expensive taste at that. This was beginning to look like a sort of James Bond movie. She watched them exit. Then looked to the other monitors around the same time frame to see where they were off to. "Gotcha..."

She exited the security room and saw a tight mini skirt. She found her size then quickly tried it on. Just right. It looked like there was leather strings on the side of it which was a nice touch which tied it together. Wouldn't Theonis be pleased. She paid for the skirt on her way out.

Trinity dropped through her shadow and emerged behind Theonis not wearing the skirt yet. That would be a surprise for later. She stepped next to him and looked over the ledge. " The security cameras had them heading that way." she pointed to the empty warehouse.

"So the great question is are we going to do the most logical thing and try to destroy it before it has a chance to fully hatch or are we going to take the humane route and give whatever is in that egg a chance to hatch," Annie sighed with a frown. "I can't get a reading on that thing's aura right now. I probably will when it hatches but..."

She shook her head, "Regardless, I wouldn't put it past Trinity and Theonis to try and destroy it. If we do intend to let the egg hatch we need to be ready to stop those two if need be and possibly confront whatever is in that egg."

Annie let go of Alexavier's hand and said, "I'm letting you make the decision. It helps absolve me of responsibility for my actions. And, you know more about those eggs than I do."  

[Nova Blancke]

"Well then, shall we be off?" Theonis said as he wrapped an arm around her waist. Using his power he dropped off the ledge and floated towards the warehouse.

"I was against killing it in the first place so I say we wait. But yeah you're right. You can just say I controlled you and people would blame me." Alexavier shrugged. He didn't care.

Annie smiled, "I wouldn't do that. I don't care if others agree with my actions or not. But, I like to absolve myself of responsibility in my head. I don't like making decisions. I prefer to leave it to others. Then I can tell myself I was just following orders. I suppose that is a sign I'm a weak person. However, I'm happy about your decision to wait. When Theonis and Trinity show up, if they try to destroy it blindly, I will stand against them. Trinity won't be that hard to take down, but Theonis got a power upgrade too... we both have pretty destructive power..." Annie trailed off, hoping Alexavier would be able to volunteer his help.

As Theonis held her by the waist she did the same with him. "What do you think we should do with the egg? Should we destroy it blindly like Gidget wanted? or should we wait and see if it will pose a threat?" It seemed she had some second thoughts about merely destroying the thing. Annie did have a point and how could they be so sure to trust that kid despite his actions.

I say we give it a chance.We can't decide it should die simply because Gidget's scared of the readings. I'm sure my own readings are pretty damn high now because of this little upgrade. Doesn't mean I have to go to, ya know."

"Yep." Alexavier replied."We'll just see what happens."

"I'd definately second that. I mean I suppose all of us could be dangerous if we use our power the right way." They landed by the warehouse. "We could watch it all from the shadows if you want. We don't want that thing to grab your power just yet...what if it's able to absorb power from us without attacking it? I think it did that with Ako if I'm not mistaken."  

[Nova Blancke]

"If it can I think it already has. But Ako's power was similar to it's own bio-electricity I think." Theonis replied but agreed to remaining in the shadow for now.

"Yep." Alexavier replied."We'll just see what happens."

Nodding, Annie closed her eyes and began to try and sense the liquid in the area. It was an exercise that tended to calm her, probably because it helped her plan an attack. Normal humidity. Alexaviers blood.... she expanded her range and realized that two others were close by in the shadows, or at least two others who had the standard amount of blood for a human.

Annie raised a brow, she was actually surprised to find them so easily. Smiling she said, "Well, they did show up for the party. I assume they are going to wait to access the danger of the egg once it hatched. They should hide better if they didnt want noticed. I'm kind of disappointed in Trinity. It is sloppy, especially for the head of Valhalla's security..."
