More Meteor Showers Bring Even Stranger Powers. (O/A)

Gidget catches the text and reads it over. If her face could lose pallor it would've. She looks over to Trinity and nods. She says quickly to Justine, "Just remember not to rub your eyes or expose light to them before tomorrow." She bows her head courteously to the others and waves for Trinity to follow her.

As they walk, and when they are out of earshot from everyone else, she asks Trinity, "What did the report say exactly?"

"They don't 'hate' us." She looked back at him over her shoulder. "haven't you heard of the saying that people fear what they don't understand?" She shrugged slightly as she looked forwards again. "Think about it. Before you had these powers, what did you used to think of people like me?" She titled her head to the side somewhat as she thought about what her own response would have been to the same question.....

Justine turned her head when she felt Deora's hand on her shoulder. "Alright." She smiled to the girl and turned once more when she heard Gidget's voice telling her to be careful about her new eyes. "Right. I won't." She nodded to her before she turned back to Deora. "I'm ready when you are." She said softly. Licking her lips a soft sigh escaped from them as her mind wrapped around the events of the day. Rest was what she needed. To sit with a good drink and think things through.

Deora smiled in relief and turned to start walking back to the lounge before remembering that Justine was blind. She would either have to guide her by hand or keep talking so she could follow her voice. Since she still didn't know the woman and would feel awkward with prolonged physical contact, she decided it would be a good time for them to get o know each other. "So, your name was Justine, right? Why was Ms. Morris telling you not to rub your eyes?"

As they walk, and when they are out of earshot from everyone else, she asks Trinity, "What did the report say exactly?"

Trinity handed the tour over to Kerana and leaving as courteous as the situation would allow her. With no hesitation she follows Gidget, there was no time to waste.

She hears her query and checks over her shoulder once more, it would be unwise to start a panic.

"The report said that it had detected the substance about 20 minutes ago near one of the residences. I tried to see what the security camera captured but it frizzed enough to not be able to see culprit's face. I'm afraid it may have taken another victim and from what I could from the uniform I could tell it was a security officer. Which, I have just texted the captain, to keep his eyes pealed for suspicious behavior.

Now...we could either go to where it was last seen or go to the R&D department to see if the picture the camera caught could be enhanced."

Justine listened to the sound of the Deora's footsteps and followed them. "Gigdet said that she would be able to replace my eyes with cybernetic ones to help me see better." She explained softly as she walked with the girl. "You see, even though I've lost my eyes, I have my own way of getting around." She smiled a little.

"It didn't matter to me. As long as they didn't cause trouble near me I was alright with them. I knew not all were bad people. I realize that more and more now since I am one and met you."

Theonis chuckled as he imagined the following." I doubt anyone would hate you though. I mean to all the religious people out there would think you are an angel. You have the wings and are kind and graceful"

The door to the R&D area slides open. Gidget walks over to a portion separate from her tinker corner. Several of the men and women there regard the ladies with respectful nods and cordial greetings. Gidget returns their nods and approaches a camera tech.

"Hey Kodak, can you pull up some security footage from earlier today and tinker with it?"

The tech swivels around in his chair, reveling in the use of a codename. "Sure thing ladies. Did you have a particular block in mind?"

The red eye looked at her for a moment, "I suppose that'll be fine, though Dining Hall sounds rather bothersome." He said in a low, uninterested tone, he who still felt uncomfortable trusting practically anyone but his brother gave an aggitated sigh. "Though, there is no harm in it..."

"Orion--" A subtle tightened grip made it clear to Apollo to keep quiet, frowning and rolling the dark eyes he gently folded the hands ontop of the red hair before resting his chin lightly on top of the knuckles, it was apparent he was getting rather sleepy, though he was trying his best to show otherwise to not prove the older one right.

Tansy paused for a moment when he mentioned that she was like an Angel. Sadness filled her eyes. "I am no Angel, as hard as I may try. And I am not someone others should follow, yet they look to me for guidance that I cannot give. I do what I can for whom I can, and do what I can to quell the anger of the people by my appearance. But what I cannot do is fixed what I have already wronged... And for that, I cannot be forgiven." She hung her head, a frown across her lips.

Deora didn't know how to respond at first. Cybernetic eyes sounded like something out of her brothers' comic books. Then again, almost everything around here seemed to be out of a comic. She looked at the bandage covering the woman's eyes, wondering what they looked like. "So, how do you get around? I mean, most people I've seen without vision have Guide dogs or walking sticks. How do you get around without anything like that?"

Theonis definitely struck a sensitive nerve there. Even if he didn't mean to."I.....sorry..." Was all he managed to mutter. Indirectly he had hurt her and that was not his intention.

He didn't like this awkward silence between them. But he didn't want to ask what he wanted to since it would most likely hurt her.
If you are not an Angel....then why do you go by that name and allow people to call you that? That was the question he decided not to ask. He wanted to know what happened in the past but it was time to get real. He had only known her for a few hours and she him. You don't tell your deepest regrets to a stranger! On the other hand...some people do....Should he take the risk and ask?

"It's okay if you don't want to answer this but it might feel better to let it out. If not..sorry..."He took a deep breath and asked" What happened?"

The door to the R&D area slides open. Gidget walks over to a portion separate from her tinker corner. Several of the men and women there regard the ladies with respectful nods and cordial greetings. Gidget returns their nods and approaches a camera tech.

"We sure do." Trinity shows Kodak her phone with the co-ordinates on it. As soon as Kodak types in the co-ordinates she shows him the security camera that she was looking at, knowing that the name of the camera would be on the bottom right [K01746]. "The time we're looking for is 25 minutes from now, we need a face."

Tansy frowned as she looked at Theonis. "It's really hard to say what exactly happened... But. I let a lot of people down, and some people were killed because of it." She nodded somewhat as tears came to her eyes, which she tried not to let them fall. Biting onto her bottom lip she took a deep breath and let it out slowly.
