Courtyard (South)

[Cataclypsa]

Cat and Cam had both followed, as well as Xavoko. Cam flinched when Phae had called him the wierdo. Even though it was very miniscule. Cat stepped forrward. "Please, Miss Sister of Ryu, this isn't your fault. It's somethng that can be quite common." she explained.

Cat went to her and bent down so she could be at her level. She was quite tiny. "He's just upset and confused. But it isn't at you particulalry. Think of it like this; if you woke up in a new place with somebody you never met, wouldn't you be scared a bit too?" she said to Phae calmly.

"That isn't exactly true." Cam said to Fang from behind. She looked up and turned him gently by his arm to see him. "The man who you share a body with dressed formally to go to an event. During the event you two changed." she explained.

She would know, as Cat and Cam had the same function. They weren't exactly free either, as until Cat perfected the spell, she would be back in her place early the next morning. "Cat and I, we go through the same thing too." she said to him so he would understand. "But she has a temporary spell for me, which is why both her and I are out at the same time." she said.

"You in the South Court now. And I don't know what wasted is bu you don't look it." Cam said softly.

Xavoko sighed, looking at the group. He also didn't like the way she had called Fang a wierdo, but it was due to personal reasons. And looking down, she noticed the tan girl. "Hmm. I think we all need some drinks and a table to settle this. Tension is the worst kind of stress" he said to Ryu.  

[Mama Ame]

Ryu held up his hands to show the girl he meant no harm. "My name is Ryu. I won't hurt you." He continued to hold up his hands to show that he had nothing. "I'm sorry if I frightened you. I didn't want to. You just kind of startled me. Are you alright? Are you hurt? He studied her with intense interest. She had very dark skin, and yet her hair was the color of honey. She was little, but not as small as his sister. She had a weird look in her eyes. He couldn't tell if she wanted to run or fight him, but her gaze was very intense.

Phae sat down very hard, so hard in fact that it would seem painful to anyone who saw her. She breathed in and out. "I'm so confused." She groaned and pulled out her hair. "I wanted to dance with him. Why? Whats wrong with me." She was more talking to herself now, or rather mumbling. "I kept telling him to let me go. He wouldn't. He wouldn't listen to me. Hes the first person who didn't listen to me." Phae meant to call Fang a freak. She was very upset and confused with herself, and had lashed out.  

[PrincessRyoko]

The boy looked to the girl know as Cat. "What tha heck are ya talkin about? Person in me? Ya crazy bat! Get outta here. He looked back to Phae You? YOU?! I am in a monkey suit and I don't even know where the heck I am I wake up and see my hands on some little six year old brat. I didn't do anything to you. He was still growling at her trying to see if he could piece together anything but he couldn't understand any of it.

The girl blinked at the boy with her eyes red. She blinked them several times before they turned to a warm gold as she tilted her head slowly moving from her defensive stance but she kept her eyes only on him. N-No, I'm fine. You broke my fall. Her wings fluttered for a moment behind her then stayed stationary. Where am I Ryu?  

[Mama Ame]

Phae suddenly came out of the doldrums and jumped up. Her small hands were on her hips. "I'm eighteen, thank you very much." It was apparent from this angle that although unnaturally short Phae was definitely not a six year old. She had a rather nice body. She was lean, curvy in places where she should have been. She had a model body, well except for the being 4'0" tall, oh and she was rather pale. Not to mention the light splash of freckles that appeared on her face come summer.

"His name was Lancaster. He asked me to dance. I didn't want to." she saw the others look at her and she sighed. "It wasn't that he was mean. Quite the contrary. He definitely knows how to talk to the ladies. I'm sure the two of you-" She looked to Cat and Cam. "Will be part of his advances on of these days." Phae paused when she said this. For some reason she was feeling rather odd at that thought. She was halfway between wanting to cheer them on, hoping that he would 'fall in love' with some other girl. The other part of her wanted to claw out the eyes of whoever that girl was after she removed his manhood.

Quickly she shook her head and continued her story. "A-anyways. We were dancing. Well really he was dancing. He had me on his feet and I was trying to get away. He had a strong grip, but he was gentle. His hands were really big, but really soft. I.." She shook her head once again. Then she reached into her pocket. Since she was wearing a dress it was one of those hidden ones that are on the inside. She pulled out a little white bag that held a tiny little pill inside. The pill was unremarkable. It could have been aspirin or any number of drugs. She popped it into her mouth. "And then he started to change. At first it was barely noticeable. The lights would flash and I would think I saw some gold in his eyes. But then it got completely dark and there you were" She pointed at Fang. "I didn't do it. I couldn't have done it."

Ryu watched the girl who was clearly still ready to fight if the opportunity arose. "You're at Ria High. Its a school. Not really just a high school. I'm a college student." He watched her. "What were you doing up in a tree?"

Ryu wasn't sure how to feel about this situation. Normally he liked a nice relaxing life with nothing too complex. But of course that wasn't going to happen now. He already knew this and he was going to accept it.

He saw his sister pulled something out of her pocket and pop a pill into her mouth. He turned from the winged girl and looked at Phae with interest. "Phae thats not your last one is it?"

Phae lifted her head and gave a rare laugh. Ryu knew her however and knew it wasn't a real one. "You've been taking them, haven't you?"


"You just saw me." She spoke quietly. "Ryu please relax. I'm a big girl. I know how to take care of myself."

"I'm sorry. You're right. We hardly see each other. I forget that you're growing up." He sighed and turned back to the winged girl. "You haven't told me your name yet. I told you mine. Its only fair.

It was then that he heard Xavoko's offer. "Man I could use a drink..."  

[PrincessRyoko]

The boy blinked several times. Ya couldn't be any older than ten at best. Look at ya, yous a runt if I ever saw one. He continued to listen to her explanation Who the heck is Lancaster?! It still seemed like could grasp the fullness of the situation. And what does he have to do with me? Maybe yous the one whos been drinkin too much. He leaned down staring her straight in the eye. Yeah they all blood shot yous been drinkin.

The winged girl looked around. Ria High huh? She put her hands on her hips looking into the tree and slightly blushed Well I uh...kinda sorta crashed into it...I was having..issues. She seemed to keep an eye on her surroundings a hand going behind her back this guy sure was asking a lot of questions. My name? It was true he did give her his name she may as well as return the greeting. Persephone, my name is Persephone.  

[Mama Ame]

Phae blinked up at Fang. "I can assure you that I am eighteen years old." She pulled back slightly when he was suddenly in her face staring at her. Both him and Lancaster didn't really understand personal bondaries. "And I haven't been drinking. I'm just.." Her voice trailed off. "Tired." She didn't want to go into it anymore. "Its been a long night for me. I'm not used to this much excitement."

The pill would start working for her in moments. It always did. If she hadn't of taken it she would have been asleep within moments. But she didn't want to sleep. Fang was a very interesting person, and she was wondering what had happened to Lancaster.

Ryu nodded. "Persephone is a nice name. I'm sorry you fell in on such an awkward moment. We're all new acquaintances however, so you should fit right in."

He then turned his eyes back to Xavoko. "Now about that drink..."  

[Cataclypsa]

Cam looked up to Fang and furrowed her brow a bit. "Yes, you're body is shared with another person. Why else would you come out only at night? Would you like an example?" she said to him, peircing his gaze with her own crimson eyes.

Cat looked to Cam. "Sister, but you shouldn't. You still have some time--"

"Oh no. I'm going to prove my point to show him whose right." Cam said. She started glowing and began to disappear. Before she was completely out of sight, she stepped into where Cat was standing and seemingly entered her. Cat closed her eyes.

When Cat opened her eyes again Cam was not there. "You stubborn finch!" she said out loud. Even more quickly her eyes changed, and so did her features, until finally Cam had taken over, just like what had happened to Lancaster.

"There. Now whose the dingbat!" Cam spat. "And to let you know, my eyes aren't bloodshot. They're naturally this color." she said.

Xavoko nodded to Ryu. "Perhaps we could all head into my Dorm room. Or a Cafe if there is one. How does that sound?" he said to Ryu. "I can mix some virgin drinks, we all calm down and talk this out like civilized people."  

[PrincessRyoko]

The boy stood with a confused look on his face. What are ya talkin about? I'm always here day or night. Normally I'm drinkin so round noon I'm usually black out drunk or...other things...but thats besides the point! He looked around finally did he follow her outside? Huh, strange. You keep talking about some freak ya little runt. You like dis guy or somethin? He brushed back his hair a bit.

Persephone still kept one hand behind her back Ah well thank you. She craned her neck back slightly with a wary look. What do you mean fit right in? I don't know any of you people what so ever.  

[Mama Ame]

Phae's mouth fell open before she went into a rant. "Me? Like that self absorbed arrogant pretty boy?" Her mouth continued to work like it was possessed by some fish. Now she was stomping around the courtyard.

Ryu watched her, then turned back to Persephone and finally back to Xavoko. "I erm...I think that drink would be good.Yes. Yes we'll go back to your room."

When Persephone posed his question he chuckled. "I know. I'll explain later. Do you want to come with us? It would be better than staying out here alone."

Cam sighed and ran a hand through her hair. "You know what, I'm not sure what this drinking is but you're making me thirsty. Besides, isn't consuming substances like that illegal?" she asked, looking at him wondering if he would follow.

Cat had already left so she waited. "You might as well come with us. There's no use staying out in this cold." It wasn't all that cold, but Cam's dress was quite figure forming. And with the dress being strapless and ending above her knee at six inches it would give her quite the draft.

She walked away, swaying still in her heels and decided to grab him with her vectors and drag him along.

[Anya Rain]

Anya walks around, feeling board and a bit tired. she was rather new to the school and didn't know anyone. If she wasn't getting lost trying to find her classes, she would have her nose in a book for hours off end.

Anya looks around trying to find the library, she could feel the slight wind and in the distance she could see some storm clouds slowly coming closer. Giving up on finding the library she sits down under a tree that she had just walked by. holding out her hand she closes her eyes imagining her book appearing there. When it didn't she opens her eyes feeling slightly annoyed.

"Really? Are you serious?" Anya mumbles to herself in a sarcastic tone. curious as to why that power of hers didnt work, she closed her eyes again and holds out her hand imagining a pencil. slowly the tips of her fingers start to get warm, and she opens her eyes seeing that there was a ball of fire there

"Oh my goddess!" Anya yells holding out her hand as far away as possible. she waves her arm up and down, not knowing how to make the ball of fire disappear.  

[Doctor Sex Muffin]

Zwei had become very consumed in the schools surroundings. In awe of how many "special" people there were, having most of her childhood being surrounded by "normal" people at school. But also in slight confusion of having everyone being so much taller than she was. It seemed to her that all these people were absolutely TOWERING over her. She had never felt so short in her life, though her ears made up for it, being twelve inches long each, it made her at the same height or taller than the other kids.
Not only was she short, but she had also never remembered being stared at so much in her life.
'It's like these freaks have never seen a Vulpes before!' she had went as far as to shock a boy who at snickered at her with 50 joules, enough to make him yelp in surprise, pain and to set his shoes on fire.
It didn't take long until she got to a quieter part of the courtyard. She stalked curiously over to a girl who looked like she was seriously concentrating.
"Really? Are you serious?" Zwei climbed up the tree the girl was sitting under and continued to watch her until she set her hand on fire. Zwei couldn't help but bust a gut as she watched the poor girl struggle with putting the fire out.
"Hey! Hey you, with the fire hand!" She jumped out of the tree. "Here gimmie yer hand I'll put the fire out."  

[Anya Rain]

Anya was too busy with trying to get her hand to stop being on fire, to notice that a girl had jumped in the tree that Anya was sitting under. still waving her hand up and down, Anya had to hold in a scream. it wasnt really that the ball of fire was hot, it had just scared the crap out of her. Anyone watching her probably would have been rolling on the ground laughing, but Anya really didnt care, she just wanted the fire to go away.

still panicking Anya jumps up startled to see a girl standing in front of her. The girl was saying something, and Anya calmed down enough so that she could her what the girl was saying.

"Here gimmie yer hand I'll put the fire out." When Anya hears this she quickly gives her hand to the girl in front of her. the girl looked a bit different from most of the people she had already seen at the school, but Anya didn't care, she just wanted the fire to go away before it caught her long black hair on fire.

"Please make the fire go away." Anya says now looking away from the fire, and realizing what a horrible first impression she was making.  

[Doctor Sex Muffin]

Zwei couldn't hold in a giggle. She grabbed the girl's hand and blew on it, the fire slowly died down and went out.
"You a pyro or something?" Zwei looked up at the girl, the girl, just like everyone else, towered over her by a good 7 or 8 inches. She examined the girls hand.
"Well it doesn't look like they're any damage, surprisingly enough. So I'm assuming your a special person too. They're seems to be A LOT of special people here! And are they all so mean? Cause I've already had to shock one of 'em!" She turned looked around.
"And do you all set your hands on fire? Cause I'm gonna run out of breath if I have to blow out all the fires! I can only do so much!" Zwei said in a way to show exhaustion.
Pipping right back up, her ears pointed up to size taller than the girl and her tail slashed back and forth in excitement.
"I'm Zwei by the way! I'm new to the school, mind being my campus buddy?"  

[Anya Rain]

Anya looked at the girl dumbfounded. The girl had just blown out her hand and was now talking about pyros and the kids around the school. it was confusing Anya greatly but she watched the girl quietly, still looking at her hand to make sure that it wasn't going to catch fire again. which it had never done before.

"Umm hi Zwei. im Anya" She says slowly thinking out her words "and umm thanks for getting rid of the fire" she added looking down at her hand again. closing her eyes she slowly remembered everything the Zwei had said.

"ummm no im not a pyro, and yah i guess i am a special person... i think. umm i also don't think that everyone can set there hands on fire. and sure i will be your campus buddy" Anya looks at Zwei for what felt like the first time today, and finally noticed how much taller she was than Zwei. Anya didnt mind that much, and she figured it was just because of being different species.
