Master and Slave

Hotaru entered the building and chewed her lip, careful to avoid where it was busted. She spotted the boy easily and headed straight to him. He handed her something to drink and she sipped it over the half hour it took her to get the information that Kai wanted. Once she did she stood to leave and he grabbed her arm. She quickly told him what Kai had asked her too and he blew up at her. She gulped and backed away from him as he started yelling at her about being a tease and a throwing vulgar insults at her regarding her relationship with Kai.  

[Roccano]

Kai frowned and then walked down to the ground and then behind the boy, acting as if he had come from his office.

"Hotaru, is there a problem?"  

[SkieChan]

Hotaru kept her eyes on the floor and nodded. Everyone was staring at her and whispering about the things the boy had been saying. Hotaru felt sick to her stomach but couldn't freak because of her ordered calm.  

[Roccano]

Kai frowned at the boy and then smiled at the people in the establishment.

"Go on people, there isnt anything to see here."

Kai looked a the two of them with a smile and then led them into his office.

"Now Hotaru, explain all that went on tonight, and be sure to tell the truth, because im going to ask him the same thing."  

[SkieChan]

Hotaru looked at him questioningly. "I met him here and talked to him. I went to leave and he grabbed me and I told him about you. Then he started yelling at me." She told him not sure why he was asking her this.  

[Roccano]

Kai smiled and nodded.

"OK then, thats her part, now young man, start by telling me your name, and then your side of the story, and if you lie, then I wont let you leave here without prosecution for disturbing the peace of the dining area."

After he had heard the boys story he leaned back in the chair and sighed.

"Well, here is what is going to happen, you....."
He pointed at the boy.
".....are going to stay away from her, considering what happened tonight, your a very violent person, and I dont think its smart for her to keep seeing you in the first place, the point of being with someone is to protect them, and I feel like you would just end up hurting her."

Hotaru felt bad about what was happening to the boy. She kept her head ducked, knowing he was looking at her and wondering why she was doing this to him. After he left she looked at Kai. "Can I go home now?" She asked him quietly.  

[Roccano]

Kai smiled and nodded.

"Yes go home, and be careful on the way there, I dont know what this boy might do."

Hotaru nodded and left. She quickly made it home and took off the outfit he had chosen for her. She ran a shower and quickly got in.  

[Roccano]

Kai sighed as he followed her along the rooftops and waited outside to see if that boy had anything in mind, and when he hadnt appeared in more then an hour, he decided to leave and go back to his own house.

Hotaru put on her pjs and quickly fell asleep in her bed. The next morning she woke up late as usual and rushed around getting ready. She was tying a ribbon around the hastily done braid as she rushed out the door. Her hair was just as messy as it always was as she rushed to the school.  

[Roccano]

Kai woke up at the same time she did and then started following her along the rooftops to the school.
He sighed when he caught sight of her.
"Gotta brush your hair better Hotaru."
He shook his head as he continued to follow.

Hotaru stopped just outside the school gates and the walked into the school instead of the quick run she had been doing all the way to the school. She chewed her lip and ducked her head as she passed people, who for the most part ignored her. Some of them giggled and whispered as she passed, most just ignored her though.  

[Roccano]

Kai laughed lightly and then shook his head.

"So self concious."

He went to a place where he could watch her in her classes without anyone knowing.

Class was much the same. Some of the kids picked on her as she stumbled through her answers when she was called on. It was only in art class that it was different. Her teacher was highly impressed with her and so lavished attention on her and her work. Hotaru was nervous and always glanced anxiously at a group of girls who obviously didn't like that she received so much praise and attention from the teacher. She kept her head down and never made a comment in their direction as she worked through the class.

The teacher had seemed upset when he had seen the bruise along her cheek bone and had hounded her about what had happened. She had blushed brightly and answered that she was clumsy by nature and tripped at home. The teacher obviously didn't buy it but she kept with her answer so he didn't have a choice, though he eyed the group of girls with obvious anger.
