Larry nodded to Trinity as she left. "I know. I saw her before. Thanks."

Heather was musing about gliding when she heard Deora and her brother. It was when Larry spoke that she finally took her eyes off of the mirror. Her eyes welled up with tears again as she turned toward Larry. Her wings folded, then her hands went to her mouth. "Oh my God. Lawrence, did you just say whole sentences? "

Larry smiled as he walked forward and hugged Heather. She may have been a little taller, but she was still small in comparison to the gentle giant. "Yeah. That kid fixed me up too. He also told me to tell you that he gave you a choice."

Heather's eyes grew wide at the utterance of those words. It was like a light bulb turned on. It excited and terrified her at the same time. She had a choice, but it came with a price. She squeezed her eyes tightly and pressed her head against his stomach. "Why...why taunt me like this?"

Alexavier laughed.

"It's only fair to experiment with your newfound powers. After all...Daedelus would have done the same! Only now you have a actual say in the matter. Plus you are experimenting on Daedelus! Oh the irony." He lifted them both up and flew towards the driving cars.

"Think you can make a ball of acid into a projectile?"

"You are aware that the only reason Daedelus had me in the first place is that I essentially signed up for it?" Annie sighed, before replying, "It is quite probable that I could turn a ball of acid into a projectile, though I couldn't make any guarantees on speed yet. Projectile acid balls are too flashy for me."

She smiled as a wall of liquid formed in front of the line of Daedalus vehicles. The wall was several feet thick and continuously flowed like a waterfall. She raised a brow and said, "Now they have a choice. I can safely say that I am innocent of causing any pain and suffering-even to Daedalus. They don't have to go through the barrier. It is merely their choice." Looking at the wall of liquid she said, "Two Olympic Sized Pools at least there, I am betting. Control, elegance, a choice... far more my style."

Alexavier whistled as the cars came to a full stop. "Quite the display Carina." The doors opened and the people inside got out. At least that was the plan. But any plan with Alexavier around won't go as intended. Something he would demonstrate right now.

"I too like choices." Alexavier replied. One car was slowly being pushed forwards into the wall of acid. It didn't touch it yet but you can see the terror inside of the car. It was rocking on all sides. People trying to get out. Fearing for their lives. As well as they should.

"Only when I get to decide though the outcome." Suddenly the car dove into the wall of acid. Quickly eating through the metal and swallowing the unlucky victims." Too soon?"

Annie raised a brow at the use of her middle name: it wasn't something most people used. If she had remembered correctly it was a name her father had run across during his travels during the few years he had served in the military. Something about liking the name, but deciding that a more ordinary name would better suit where they lived.

However, her interest soon changed to disgust as the car passed through the wall of acid. She took a deep breath and changed the wall of acid to harmless water, though it did not look any different, and she didn't plan on informing Alexavier of the the change. "I wouldn't pull that stunt again," Annie warned. "And, secondly, forcing someone's hand takes away a great deal of the thrill of the unexpected."

"Awww why isn't it?" He glanced over to Annie."Why'd you go and do that? Weren't we going to kill them? Also...that was pretty unexpected for them!"

Cassandra took Christians hand. She took a step but then stopped. She did not know where the cafeteria was. Nor did she know what was tasty. Daedelus fed her something simple all the time.

"Do you know the way Christian? I.....don't" Cassandra spoke feeling slightly embarrassed. Which was also surprising since she hardly showed emotion besides love for children.

Annie raised a brow, "Oh, so you realized?" She said referring to the change she made to her liquid wall. "Shouldn't be surprising considering you are psychic... regardless, I was more interested in stopping them and testing my powers than killing. And, I really don't like my powers to be used beyond my intentions."

She sighed, "Additionally, I highly doubt they will go charging into that boundary after what happened to their comrades. It is not particularly hard to change the molecular compound of the water to acid. Changing water into destructive acid is almost as easy as breathing. Especially, now."

"More or less," Christian sighed. "It isn't particularly confusing. I haven't been in this hallway before, but it should be easy enough to figure out in a minute or so. There's logic to corridors. And I have a good picture-memory."

Ako looked to the lightning rods as they rose from the walls and floor. He could sense them, strangely, by their lack of an electrical signature. He could sense the wires running through the walls, the electrical pulse of the woman in the room with him, even the strange machinery increasing the gravity a few rooms down, but like a shadow in the brightly lit room, these rods simply didn't exist according to his sixth sense. That was some good grounding, he had to admit. He could completely let loose, and these things would probably attract and redirect all but the most powerful of bolts.

He smiled a bit, the feeling of static charge building in the air immediately around him. "Sorry to steal the room for a bit. Maybe you can show me what you can do after I get rid of a little charge." With that, he stepped more towards the middle of the room. "Oh, uh, you might want to cover your ears."

While it was true that he could just walk up to the grounded rods and disgorge all of his inner electricity at once, there was something about airborne discharge that wasn't to be missed. While it might be seen as simply showing off, it exercised some mysterious part of his power that simply touching the lightning rods would not. Without further ado, he took a deep breath and raised his hands, aiming each at different rods. Faster than the blink of an eye, two massive bolts of lightning connected Ako to the lightning rods. The purple-blue arcs danced a bit in their second-long existence, the sight was accompanied by an explosive buzzing, something that Ako endured only out of familiarity. He'd gotten so used to being so close to lightning, actually being it's end point, the sound of thunder was easily overlooked.

He repeated this performance a few more times, the thunderous buzzing changing pitch as it moved from rod to rod as the targets began to glow with heat. After a few minutes , as the bolts began to get visibly weaker, Ako lowered his arms and stopped. the tip of his last target still glowed cherry red, the heat making waves in the air above it. He took another deep, calming breath, taking in the thick smell of ozone and heated metal, along with wisps of burned cotton from the ends of his shirt sleeves. After a third breath he turned to face Liv again. "I should be safe now." He said.

Kerana was glad to see brother and sister reunited. When Larry mentioned she had a choice it peeked Kerana's curiosity. She couldn't help but ask,"Choice? What choice?"

Cassandra smiled at the boy. " Then I will have to let you lead sweetie."

Liv plugged her ears right after she heard the initial noise. Wish he hadn't done that...

When he stopped the air smelled differently. What was that smell? It didn't matter much though. Liv looked at his sleeves. Slightly burned ends. Guess lightning does that when you are in contact long enough. Reaching out she grasped his hand with both of hers to examine the burn. Also checking to see if he didn't have any burns himself. As she did that, the draining began. Like she did before a few days ago. She did not intend to completely drain him since that would be too obvious and would lead right back to her. No she would Drain him partially. Especially now that he had discharge after a long time as she understood it, it would be logical that he would be a bit tired from it right? And that was exactly what he would feel. Just a bit tired. Luckily for her the Draining didn't need excessive contact nor particularly long contact.

"Hmmm...no burns on your hands or anything. Guess you won't get burned from your own power huh?" She said and let go of him."As for me..."

The lights around them started to change color as Liv changed their spectrum." Light is my primary power. I have full control over it" She turned around facing her previous 'opponent'. As she lashed out with her hand towards it, a whip of light formed itself. Upon contact there was a sizzling sound as if it got burned on contact. Which was true in a sense since it is concentrated light." Concentrating light can make a laser ya know. From then it's just a matter of changing it's shape."

Heather turned to Kerana and sniffled, "That kid gave me the ability to change between dragon and human. I didn't know it before, but what Larry said seemed to make something click."

She rubbed her arms uncomfortably as she thought about what she said next. "But there's a catch. The more human I become, the more I'm suppressing the dragon. The more it is suppressed, the higher chance there is for it to simmer and boil over. Hell, I can feel it now. It's like a whisper."

"But the more draconic my body is, the more my humanity is freed. It's a damn tease. If I shift into a human, I could actually hulk out...sorry Larry."

The gentle giant raised his hand in dismissal. "It's cool."

Heather looked between the girls, her draconic eyes pleading with a very human glisten. "What do you guys think? I don't have much experience with type 1 zoan metas...how did I know that word?"

Ako always felt tired after using so much electricity, not only for using the power to control it, but because the electricity fueled his secondary powers. His superhuman speed and strength was a result of more powerful electrical pulses being sent to his muscles. When he used up his excess stores of power, he became slower and weaker, more so than normal fatigue. As Liv held and examined his hand, he let that familiar wave of relaxing exhaustion wash over him, calming him.

"No," He explained as she commented on his lack of burns, "Some unconscious part of it, my power keeps the lightning from actually touching me once it leaves my body. My clothes catch some of it, but I've learned not to wear too much metal."

He watched as she gave a short demonstration of her power; changing the color of the light around them, and forming a whip of laser light. He was truly impressed, his whole life, he'd been taught that light couldn't bend. But then, the amount of electricity he put out on a regular basis was supposed to kill. The powers they'd all received still amazed him at times.

"Impressive." He stated. He was never good at voicing what he really felt.

Kerana thought of her friend's predicament, "Well, if I were you I'd ensure what keeps me, me. Perhaps shift into your human form for the most part and shift to you dragon form when you feel it rising so that you wouldn't hulk out. That's my two cents. I feel it is important to remember who you are, and not loose sight of that.
On another note, what is a type 1 zone meta? I'm afraid I have no idea."

Liv frowned upon his words. " So you are not completely immune to your own power? That can't be good if it backfires on you." Liv said. " Then again..." She recoiled her whip around her arm. Wincing at the sudden burning on her arm, she released her power. What remained on her arm was the coiled burn shape of her whip. As soon as she did that, she began to regenerate the damage. It was gone before you knew it.

"Can't say that I am immune to this particular application of my power. Good thing I can heal"

"What's wrong with spending more time as a dragon?" Deora asked, "you look beautiful."

She really knew why Heather would have preferred to stay human, but that wasn't an option anymore, so why worry about it? They were surrounded by people who had been visibly mutated, so who would they be to judge?
