Courtyard (North)

Kira closed one eye as he touched her, but forced herself to stand still rather than jump away. She felt bad since she knew he didn't mean any harm, but she still couldn't keep from flinching. She tried to act like she hadn't though, and just nodded her head. "Y-yeah, I guess so..." she murmured, glancing down at the ground. It really was perplexing though. Maybe if she continued exploring, she'd figure some things out? She glanced towards the kitten she held and then back at Uwasa, not really sure what to do now.  

[uwasa]

Uwasa saw her flinch and stepped back. "Sorry did not know you did not like to be touched.." He said as he patted the head of the kitten. "Well we all have memory's we want to remember that's what friends are for to stick with you." He said remembering all the time his friends saved him from death and damnation.

Kira gave an uneasy laugh, but just watched as he pet Kurri. The kitten snuggled into his hand, purring quietly. Her ears twitched when he mentioned friends, and drooped slightly, bits of blue mixing in with the green of her eyes. "Right..." she said quietly. She'd met two people since coming here, and counting Uwasa there were three, but before that she hadn't really know anyone, except for Kurri. The other two people were both small children that she'd happened to meet upon arriving, but she wasn't sure if they could really be considered friends, who she could go to if she needed help. No, she definitely couldn't... She bowed her head again, thinking quietly to herself.  

[uwasa]

Uwasa smiled as he cat snuggled into his hand. "You know for someone who seems sad and shy you have a very out going cat." He said as he dropped his hand to his side and looked at her. "You need to cheer up you may not have many friends now but you have me so if you ever need help just come and ask." He said to her.

Kira lifted her head to look first at Kurri, and then towards Uwasa. "I guess so," she agreed softly, but then froze for a second as she heard his next words, about coming to him. "Ah, I... I can? You wouldn't mind it?" She paused, laughing quietly. "But I don't really have anything in specific I need... Besides figuring out why this is all familiar." She gave a small shrug and looked back at the ground. Even if she did need help, it was pretty unlikely she'd ask for assistance. She couldn't trouble someone she hardly knew.

He smiled. "Hey i'm up here." He said in a joking way. "You need to stop feeling so bad i like to help poeple it's my job." He said and shook his head. "You are a good person i can tell you need to stop feeling bad for no reason." He said to her stating what he believed.

"Your... job?" Kira repeated, glancing back up at him. She blinked a couple times, and then sighed quietly. "Yes, you're right..." she admitted quietly. She did have a pretty bad habit of always watching the ground. Her ears, which had been drooping slightly, began to perk again as she hugged Kurri a bit closer to herself. The kitten was, apparently, her one source of comfort. She stared at Uwasa for a moment, and then bowed her head. "Thank you very much," she said softly.

He smiled and shook his head. "I said don't worry about like i said it's my job and i like to help poeple." He said as he runs a hand through his hair witch was a bad habit of his. "So you like ria high so far?" He asked deciding to get onto better topics.

Kira raised her head again, straightening fully after another small pause. She watched him for a moment and then nodded once. "Yes!" she cried, and then tilted her head to the side, smiling happily. "I went inside a mall for the first time!" Her tail started wagging excitedly behind her as she recalled it, the blue gone from her eyes once more, leaving them completely green.

He laughed. "Ya i lost an arm wrestling compitition in that mall though for the record i should have won." He said pouting for a second then smiled. "Wait you have never been in a mall before?" He said a little confused.

Kira continued smiling faintly, listening to his first story, but it faded slightly as she saw his confusion. "Um, well..." she began uncertainly, and then tapped a clawed finger against the sword she wore at her waist. "They wouldn't exactly.. let me in... and I didn't have anywhere else to leave this. And... it's not like I have any money either," she added with another awkward laugh.  

[uwasa]

He shrugged. "Well i'm lucky in both respects my sword is summoned to me when i need it and i have alot of money." He said laughing then looked at her. "So you any good with the sword or not?" He asked wondering if she just carried it for show or not.

"I'm... alright, I guess," Kira said softly, glancing to the ground, but then raising her head again when she realized it. "Sometimes people see I'm armed and decide not to bother me." She thought it was very interesting though, that his sword was summoned. How did he manage such a thing? Hers became a little irritating to carry around all the time... But she did it anyway. She could never leave it behind.  

[uwasa]

Uwasa laughed. "Well remember some of the most dangerous poeple are those who look unarmed." He said and then smiled. "But one day we must have a friendly sword fight i have not had one in awhile." He said smiling looked at her sword.

"Ah, m-maybe..." Kira said quietly, glancing towards the sword as well and then returning her gaze to Uwasa. She hugged Kurri again, and the kitten meowed softly, tilting his head back to look at her. She offered a faint smile and then refocused upon Uwasa. "So you're saying that.. since you looked unarmed, you're one of the most dangerous people?" she asked with a small smile. She was joking, but only slightly.
