Courtyard (North)

[uwasa]

He laughed. "Only if you get on my bad side and only a few have done that." He then sighed. "But most of the poeple who where on my bad side are dead or i have not seen them for along time." He said and cracked his neck and back from standing to long. "Can we find somewhere to sit." He said trying to rotate his back.

Kira nodded, tempted to ask another question, but keeping herself quiet. Hopefully she wouldn't get on his bad side either, though she didn't see how she could. Her ears twitched as she heard his neck crack, and then she let her eyes dart around the courtyard. "Well there's trees, the ground... benches, or a fountain," she nodded, pointing each out in turn.

Uwasa nodded. "Alright let's head to the tree." He said as he walked over to the tree and sat down under it. "Much better." He said after he sat down and leaned against the tree relaxing.

Kira blinked once, and then slowly trailed after him, her tail swishing lazily behind her and her ears still perked attentively. Her bare feet made no sound against the grass as she moved, but there was a consistant tapping of her sword against her side. She finally paused a foot or two away once he'd seated himself, and then slowly dropped down to her knees, sitting across from him, but also slightly to the side. She set the kitten in her lap, and momentarily removed the rather large sword, laying it in the grass beside her. Then she glanced back at Uwasa, staying silent since she had nothing more to say, currently. She was a little confused why he was still willing to talk to her. But she didn't mind. Maybe it'd help her figure out why he seemed so familiar.

Uwasa sighed. "So where you from?" He asked trying to open up conversation once more. "If you do not mind me asking." He added in not wanting to upset her at all. Great day out nothing could ruin my mood. He thought to himself enjoying the weather.

"I'm from-" Kira began, but then cut off as she frowned glancing towards the ground. "Um, actually... I don't remember," she finished with an awkward laugh. "It was a really small town... without electricity and all the other strange things that are so common among humans." She blinked once and then glanced back at Uwasa. "What... about you?" she asked quietly.  

[uwasa]

Uwasa scrathed his chin. "Well i lived wuith my parents in a mansion in a forest far from city's. But i went to a school inside a city my father just would preform a teleportation spell that made us apear in a house he owned in the city. So we basicly pretended to live there and hid our powers from everyone except one person..." He trailed off at the mention of the one person and then shook his head. "So that is about it." He said with a shrugg.

Kira blinked a couple times, her eyes widening slightly at the thought of teleportation. "You can.. you can do that?" she asked, amazement showing through obviously in her voice. This person... He was incredible! How could he do so many things?! She stared at him for a couple seconds more before realizing it and quickly looking down at the grass. She quickly tried to change the subject a bit. "U-um, a city? I've been through one before, but I had to move fast so I didn't get to see much."

He shrugged. "I can only teleport short distances using shadow jump my father is far more powerful." He thne heard her mention not seeing much in a city. "Not much to see in a human city they are cramped and so weird i like my races city's better." He said stating his personal preference.

Kira glanced back at him, ears tilting towards him again. "Oh," she said quietly. She was still impressed though. What if her father could teleport? Then maybe he wouldn't have- She closed her eyes, shaking her head slighlty as she pushed the thought away. After a second she glanced back at Uwasa. "Your cities are different than human ones?" she asked curiously.

He looks at her and nodds. "We only have three city's left the others have been destroyed by us or our enemy's. But our city's are run by magic we also have alot more interesting things there." He said and he leaned back. "Back in our prime we had alot of city's, but now we only have to minor ones and the capital all of them well hidden." He added in.

Kira stared for a second, trying to picture in her mind what a city run by magic would look like. She but hadn't seen very much magic before, so she failed to picture much at all. Then she blinked, refocusing upon him as she gave a small nod. "It sounds cool.." she said quietly. Her hometown had been just that, a town. They they didn't have plumbing, and had to use fire for light. Though, her eyesight was good enough that the dark didn't really hinder her.

Mioki still sat under the tree,and it seemed she had fallen asleep.The book was covering her face,shielding her face from the sunlight.She slowly rose up and looked around the courtyard,and rubbed her eyes.Off in the distance she saw a small black figure running towards her.It....was Midnight?Yes,the small black cat that lived in her and Nioki's dorm.It was coming toward her with papers in its mouth,running as fast as it possible could.

Midnight stopped in front of Mioki with the papers.He dropped them to the ground and smiled."Guess what?! Shino put me in charge of handing out papers for her new club!See.....?!"He pushed the papers toward her with his paw ,and ran around chasing his tail.He stopped and pointed at the words with his paw,running them across each word as he read."School Reporters Club needs members!"He pushed some towards Mioki,and then picked some in his mouth.His voice sounded muffled talking through the papers."I need you to help me hand them out."

Mioki didnt say anything just picked them up and nodded her head."Sure I guess..?"She stood up and dusted off her skirt giving a small yawn."Lets go then."She looked over at the girl and boy talking and decided to ask them first."Lets go over there and ask them?"

Uwasa smiles. "It is one day maybe i will show you, just almost none of us live there any more we live with humans as most of us looke normal." He said basicly in short that he was weird for his race. "What was your home like must of had something specail?" He asked wanting to know more.

Kira watched him quietly, tilting her head slightly as she discovered they didn't live their anymore. But she didn't question it and instead moved on to answer his question. "Special? No, there was nothing really. Like I said, we didn't have electricity or anything... and now it's all gone, so there's nothing at all." She gave a small shrug, but flecks of blue were appearing in her eyes again and her ears drooping. She bowed her head in an attempt at hiding it, distracting herself by petting the kitten that was lying across her lap.
