More Meteor Showers Bring Even Stranger Powers. (O/A)

"If I didn't know any better I'd say you are just watching out for your figure. But I can say from experience that it's already an excellent figure." Theonis replied with his usual playful manner. He did notice her searching her salad." Besides you wouldn't be fishing for meat inside your salad if you were fully content. I ain't giving you all of this delicious burger. Too selfish for that."

"Then my efforts aren't for not..." she smiled and responded to his compliment. "and I intend to keep it that way." She drank some water. One of these days she will surprise him and veg out a little with a cheeseburger but not today. With all that's going on she would have to be in top shape to handle it all. Behind the banter she could tell that Theonis wanted to see her in a more private scale. "Are you so certain that my figure is as excellent as you say it is? I think you may need a closer look." she said with a wink.

"Well, it certainly wouldn't hurt to inspect it again. Especially since you are so willing." Despite his blackened eyes you could almost see that little playful sparkle in his eyes. He loved it when she played along like this. Even more when she started. He used that same trick he used earlier by imitating a finger running up her thigh. Only this time it had a whole other meaning.

"It's so crowded in here, don't you think?"

She smiled and looked at him as his invisible finger stroke up her thigh. This time she there was no doubt it was him. In return a finger from his shadow ran up his back. "I dunno I didn't think that would hold you back." she teased in response to his question.

Her own assault was expected but still......he contained shiver. She was asking for it. Theonis knew a few of a sensitive area's and focus multiple 'strikes' on those.

"Too many familiar faces plus....you've got a reputation to think of, don't you?" At his last words the strikes became a bit more fierce.

Trinity glared back at him she didn't like it when he over did things. Although he knew her weak spots it was a major turn off when he simply took advantage of all of them at once. She bit her lip, looked straight into his eyes then answered "Y'know you're right.", and with that she dropped into her shadow leaving Theonis with an empty salad bowl. She took the water bottle with her. Her voice came from the darkness of his ear "We'll talk later I have to go see Gidget about reinstating."

"Huh But I-" Theonis was stunned. What just happened? Was he too aggressive? He let out a frustrated sigh and face-palmed himself. Dammit!

Trinity wasn't sure where to look for Gidget at first. She thought the two places to start would be Ako's place or the R&D department. Looking up Ako in the global contact list on her smart phone she found where he was currently staying. She emerged near the door then knocked, "Hey Gidget? You there? We need to talk."

Deora hesitated, realizing how her words sounded as Heather repeated them. She had trouble finding the right way to follow them up. "Well, yeah; you still look good," As in, not as messed-up as your brother she thought, but didn't dare say, "but now, you look amazing. I mean, you have wings!" she motioned a hand, as if they needed to be pointed out. "And you can breathe fire! All I got was purple hair and the ability to make waves."

Heather gave a big toothy smile as she listened to Deora. Larry shuffled over and put a massive finger on his sister's shoulder. She looked up at him, and he nodded with a comforting smile to her.

Heather pulled her hands up to her chest as she thought about everything her friends and family have told her. In the end it all boiled down to balance. She dropped her hands to her side and balled them into fists. She closed her eyes and concentrated on being human again. When the transformation began she moaned in discomfort. It wasn't so much painful as it was incredibly uncomfortable. She would later liken it to having her entire body numbed and subsequently poked over every inch that was changing.

Her face and tail were the first things to recede. There were loud and disgusting pops and cracks that accompanied every major skeletal adjustment. She became shorter as her legs took a more human appearance. Then her wings began to shrink slowly, as if pacing themselves to her. The scales began to fall off in shimmering pieces one by one starting at her nose. Soft pings resonated through the room as they fell to the ground over and through her clothes.

The shedding scales reached her elbows and knees when something screamed at her from inside her head. Furious eyes made themselves clear within her mind's eye. She gasped and dropped to the floor, the changes stopping at that very moment.

Everything below her elbows and knees was still scaled and clawed while having taken a humanoid shape. Her wings, now useless, resembled a Halloween costume accessory. Her hair was still stark white, but it draped over fare features. She took deep breathes and opened her eyes as she pushed herself back up. Her eyes were her own, but the iris' had maintained the dragon's color. Her teeth were also not quite human. The incisors and canines were a bit more sharp then they should be for a human. All in all, she looked like a dragon relative of Kerana.

Larry steadied his sister as she stood up. He smiled at the face he remembered from before the changes. "You almost made it, what happened?"

Heather looked around at Larry, Kerana, and Deora. The whispering in her head was a bit louder, but not near as frightening as it was a moment ago. "The dragon tried to take over. I think this is as far as I can take it for now. How do I look?"

The door crept open as a small boy with a headband peeked through it. He plead softly to Trinity, but not with his mouth. His words resonated through her head like a scolded child. "Please don't be mad, Miss Smith. She made me do it."

He pulled the door the rest of the way open so that Trinity could enter. On the bed was Gidget, sound asleep and with the slightest hint of a smile. Any prior turmoil she felt seemed to have faded away.

He frowned as he glanced over at Trinity and Theonis. The purple haired woman seemed exhausted and concerned. Theonis had a sort of cocky aura about him, a tinge of worry, and some of what Christian assumed would be called lust. He shook his head and began to clumsily cut his steak. "Once in a great while I wonder if father's ability to manipulate emotions would be helpful instead of just sensing emotions," Christian sighed.

Damien was slightly more choosy with his choices of food. Although he enjoyed what was in front of him greatly, he understood his biology well enough to know that this was his first meal and eating to much of the wrong things would make him ill.

He looked up at Christian between helpings and pondered Christian's dilemma. "If I were to venture as guess, this place is not the most pleasant of locations for you. The maelstrom of whispers in just this room are immense. I can't begin to imagine what it is like for you."

Damien was slightly more choosy with his choices of food. Although he enjoyed what was in front of him greatly, he understood his biology well enough to know that this was his first meal and eating to much of the wrong things would make him ill.

He looked up at Christian between helpings and pondered Christian's dilemma. "If I were to venture as guess, this place is not the most pleasant of locations for you. The maelstrom of whispers in just this room are immense. I can't begin to imagine what it is like for you."

"You learn to tune it out," Christian replied with a sigh. "Besides it is better without Miss Trinity and Mr. Theonis obnoxiously flirting, anymore. I unfortunately get to know when some people should get a room sooner than others. It is easier to block out some emotions than others. Emotional spikes tend to pick up my interest easier-be they bad or good."

He carefully chewed on a piece of the steak and finally said, "Maelstrom of whispers? Enhanced hearing, then?"

Damien shook his head and pointed to his temple. "I hear their thoughts in here. There are so many of them in this room it's almost impossible to completely shut them out, so they come as whispers. The whispers are also immeasurably varied. Pleasure, pain, joy, despair, hatred, and love...all at once."
