More Meteor Showers Bring Even Stranger Powers. (O/A)

Tom fidgeted with his hands as he tried to come up with made what he did not sound quite so horrible. "S-she made me lock away thirteen years of memories. From the time she was a machine."

"I see..." she looked down thinking of what this meant. This means... Our friendship... every secret we shared every nuances they learned of each other are all gone. Over the course of thirteen years they became best friends and now... now it's all gone. Now we would have to start over. They barely knew each other when Leviathan attacked... they only knew each other for a day when it happened..

Many questions and concerns aroused in her mind she decided not to address them out loud to not disrupt Gidget's wishes Tom... There are so many questions... What happens when she wakes up? Reality can tell her quite a bit of what happened the passed thirteen years, age being a major factor. Not to mention other matters such as her brother's where abouts, Ako and his feelings for her, Annie and her child. We can't hide these things from forever when she wakes up, can we? She can block all that out I this state but what happens when reality dawns on her? What happens when she wakes up?

Tom rubbed his arms uncomfortably as he thought how to best answer Trinity's questions. "She'll wake up thinking she just had a nap. To her, she was in a coma for thirteen years up to last week when she woke up in her lab. Some details have been changed or removed."

"She felt this was the only way. Most of her troubles came from those memories from when she was a machine. Thirteen years worth of memories without feeling, and then suddenly having to cope with every one of them. For all intents and purposes she shouldn't have anymore emotional outbursts outside of what's considered normal."

Damien shook his head and pointed to his temple. "I hear their thoughts in here. There are so many of them in this room it's almost impossible to completely shut them out, so they come as whispers. The whispers are also immeasurably varied. Pleasure, pain, joy, despair, hatred, and love...all at once."

"Well that's..." Christian paused as he had mixed feelings on the matter and didn't know a succinct way to express his opinion on the matter. Instead he said bluntly, "If you are just a sensor when it comes to thoughts, it doesn't do much good. More inconvenient than helpful. At least that is my opinion on being able to sense emotions and considering Mom's ability to sense people's auras. I suppose being a sensor should give you better judgment at the very least."

Trinity's fist tightened as she initially thought Gidget's decision was that of a coward. Not wanting to deal with the situation, just completely avoid those years entirely. When she initially made the suggestion she thought Tom would help cope with it all but Gidget had something else in mind.

As she listened to Tom's explanation her fist loosened. To not have any sensation or feelings at one second to suddenly feeling everything all at once. She looked at her opened hand and thought, about this. As she said 'from one extreme to the other... No in between'. She supposed a step in between would be for her to partially be in her body and partially in the machine... But that was no way to live.... Was there any other way around it?

She looked to Gidget's body once more We became close as sisters those past years...does that no longer matter? Does that mean we'd be starting over, practically?. Loosing what they had was a harsh blow but she knew Gidget had a hard time coping with being in a machine's body. She tried so hard to recreate what she lost and now that she has it all back... Trinity had often been the one to stand up and let everyone know that she was still human on the inside. That things people take for granted are the same things she strives to re-create. Yet, the memories they shared... the bond they had... couldn't out weigh the painful ones as a machine?

She thought about simply waking her up to talk this over...but would it be worth it? Is this the right way?

"s**t happens. The choices you and others make determine what happens to you. Not as a accurate as that though but you get the picture." Alexavier replied." But you're not actually talking to me about something like this are you? I was born a couple of hours ago. Well reborn. And before that my only goal was to crush Shane. Now we're in the same boat."

"I can always alter or remove those memories if you'd like."


Cassandra was happily munching down her pile of various foods. It was pure bliss for her. So many flavors! A feeling she hasn't been familiar with. She almost forgot about the two boys with her. Almost.

"You can always ask Alex for help with that. You got his powers so he should be able to help you with that." She smiled at the boy as she talked.

"s**t happens. The choices you and others make determine what happens to you. Not as a accurate as that though but you get the picture." Alexavier replied." But you're not actually talking to me about something like this are you? I was born a couple of hours ago. Well reborn. And before that my only goal was to crush Shane. Now we're in the same boat."

"I can always alter or remove those memories if you'd like."

"Alter them how? Forget what? There are too many holes," Annie replied. "It wouldn't be fair to others. My son deserves a mother and there are few memories that are positive in relation to him thanks to the nature of his origin. Logically forgetting all that would be 'easier'."

She stood, "Besides only cowards would opt for that. I am not a coward. And furthermore, I really don't trust you enough to have you tampering with my memories. Who knows what you would find as an acceptable new life for me to have."

She shifted into her liquid form raising up to drop down from the building when she paused and let out a laugh, "I was going to go 'home' then I realized I really don't have one. Even Valhalla isn't 'home' for me. And I'm pretty sure if I showed up Trinity might try to skin me alive."

"They say home is where the heart is. Or so I've heard. Closest thing to your heart would be your son. So for the moment home would be where he is. The only home I had was with Cassandra before that bond was cut. Before that I suppose it was that farm my grandparents have or had." Alexavier said. Then shook his head with a grunt." Talking like this really isn't my style."

Annie raised a brow and gave a short laugh, "You give me too much credit. My heart really isn't with my son. I would say it is more of an obligation in the case of him. And, I suppose I am a bit masochistic in that I rehash everything in my mind-dwelling on the negative."

With a shrug she said, "I think I'll head back to Valhalla for lack of better things to do. I was told technically I was grounded by Trinity."

"If she held an any actual power over you then that would be the wisest thing to do yeah." Alexavier replied with a shrug." Guess I'll go pop some Daedelus heads or something I dunno."

"Technically, she doesn't," Annie replied, bluntly. "Who exactly from Daedalus are you going to seek out? You shouldn't antagonize them merely on a whim. Even doing it purely for revenge is better than doing so on a 'nothing better to do' mentality."

" But I really do have nothing better to do. And if I do get really bored, it makes me want to kill something just to distract myself. Plus killing them has proven to be fun. Well for me anyway. I had a blast earlier. Besides they can't stop me. No one can."

Annie shook her head, "Everyone can be stopped eventually. It might take a while and it might be near impossible to do, but everyone can be stopped. And it is even easier to momentarily delay someone."

She changed into her water form and reformed beside him, leaning on his shoulder and said with a small smile, "Too much of an ego will get you killed or worse captured. And, there are things in life that are enjoyable besides just killing. Even the worst of people usually find a mundane hobby they enjoy."

"Yes you're an expert on delaying people."

He glanced at her " I doubt that. But if there are I haven't found them yet. I read many minds and I have yet to find anything that holds my interest"

"Me? Delay people?" Annie laughed. "I'm pretty good at killing people too, probably better than you. But I don't think I would be able to delay or kill you-at least not very easily. I would probably have to have you agree to anything I did to you."

She shrugged, "And sometimes things are more interesting if you do them yourself than experience them through others. For example if you looked into my mind I would make killing people seem a lot less fun than your mind would. People experience different things in different ways."
