Courtyard (North)

[Trinity Calimaster]

She cried gently into his shirt. There were a lot of things she wished she had done, but now it was too late. She tried to remember the last thing they had talked about... She had talked to them over the phone, but she wished she at least could have seen them again. She sobbed as thoughts filled her mind. Perhaps if she had been there it wouldn’t have happened. Maybe… What if… It was somehow her fault? Clouds began darkening in the sky, gathering over the courtyard. The smell of rain filled the air before it began. Hissing, the rains poured from the sky, clear but a moment ago.  

[uwasa]

U*wasa stood up from his crouching stance and smiled. "You pretty good at this, but come on attack i have seen defense were's the offense." He said standing in a more defendable position his one arm no longer behind his back. She can match me that is rare even among half demons. He thought to himself as he waited.

Kira watched him silently, eyes darting around, focusing for a moment on his other arm, then the sword, and finally to his face. She smiled slightly, shrugging her shouldres. "Ok.." She really didn't have much of an offense, honestly. She usually just faught to defend herself, and would slip away at the first chance she got. But I... guess I can try, she thought to herself, and nodded once. "K," she said again, and then lurged forward, darting towards him as she swung the sword down with both hands towards his left shoulder, diagonally.

Uwasa raised his sword and moved his feet farther apart to block the attack, there swords struck and spark flew out. "Well you are strong." He said holdining her back with one arm his face locked in a mask hiding all emotions. Thank god for passion or that would have sent me flying. He thought to himself.  

[Souno]

Souno looked up at the rain as it slowly began to fall in a light haze, his eyes wide.
Oh no...this must be her...
The rain suddenly increased, the steady thrum of rain soaking the two teens sitting on the grass. Souno cast a worried glance back at Tchai then back at the girl. He gently scooped her up in his arms and carried her over to the tree by Tchai, who was still unconcious. He gently lifted his hand and a small dome of clear ice surrounded them, blocking the rain and the wind from reaching them.
"There, much drier." Souno murmered.

Kira allowed a brief smile to flash across her face at his words. "Thanks," she said quietly, not really used to being complimented. "But your stronger, it seems," she pointed out. He was just using one hand after all, while she was using both. She pushed her sword against his slightly and then leapt away again, putting some distance between them as she regained her stance. She began watching him once more, eyes narrowed slightly as she waited to see if she'd attack again. She didn't want to miss any movements by accident. Her eyes were dark crimson now, not a fleck of green left anywhere in them.

Biaksu ran slickly through the hallways, and came across the outer hallways. He froze the floor of the long hallway before him and simply stood on it and slid through. As he slid he looked outside and saw some people in the courtyard. "Hmm... let's test out my new technique..." He sucked in the ice from behind him and slid to the courtyard doors.

He silently got outside and stealthily moved about the courtyard. He kept a safe distance between the others and himself as he moved quickly. "Kishari!" He shouted under his breath. In a quick second he transformed into a white wolf with black wings. He rushed to the edge of the courtyard and hid in bushes with out a sound escaping from him.

Kira's ears twitched slightly as she thought she heard a voice not too far away. She breathed in slowly, catching the scent of another wolf. Her expression didn't change however, and her eyes never left Uwasa. They were fighting, after all. It wouldn't do to look away and give him an extra chance. She was pretty sure he could beat her anyway, without the extra help.

But her black wolf tail began wagging slightly behind her. So far, she'd met two nekos, Uwasa, and no one else. It was nice to know there was another wolf around. She could only hope she'd see them again later when she wasn't so busy, and perhaps even find he wasn't as mean as the ones she was used to dealing with. Hey, she could hope, right?  

[Ethan Barrows]

Biaksu watched the strange girl. He only had a tail, and yet no other parts of an animal. His mind paced and eyed her up and down, and yet she resembled nothing of who he was searching for. He returned to normal and rose to his feet. He leaped into the air and drew his bow and an arrow. "Cerbresu!" He pulled back the arrow and it was covered in ice. He aimed at a tree and let the arrow loose.

Biaksu fell silently as his arrow whistled through the air musically. Its soft sound echoed warm feelings to all who could hear, then it slammed into a tree and sent a horrifying screech through the air as the tree and the ground around it froze instantly. The second this happened, Biaksu rushed inside to escape the intense sounds and headed to the training grounds. His mind now filled with new possibilities.

Uwasa did not hear the shout to intent on the fighting taking place. "Well here are some pointers you do not attack hard enough!" He screamed as he dashed forward and raised his sword arm to deliver a slash, but it was a distraction from his leg that was coming at her in the form of a round house kick aimed for the ribs.

Kira blinked, her ears twitching as she caught an almost musical whistling through the air. But then it suddenly turned into a screech, causing her to visibly cringe. A second later, she noted that the scent of the other wolf had vanished, so her first though was anger towards him. And then, Uwasa suddenly spoke and charged forward. Her red eyes widened in surprise as she lifted her sword to block the attack from his. But, due to her distraction, she didn't realize his foot was aiming for her until it was too late to dodge. She managed to lean back slightly, but that was it, and the kick still connected pretty soundly, knocking her hard to the side. She staggered, trying to stay on her feet, but she was doubled over slightly since the collision had knocked the air out of her. She started falling a second later, rather hard, towards the ground.

Uwasa watched her hit the ground and looked at her. "You gonna be ok?" He said looking at her hoping to make sure she was ok. Maybe i was trying to hard i should have been careful. He thought to himself as he ran his free hand through his hair one of his old habits.

Kira blinked a few times, taking in a sharp breath of air and then calming herself. "Y-yeah, I'm fine," she nodded, one hand where he'd kicked her. She couldn't deny that it'd hurt her though. She'd probably have a bruise at least... "It was my fault." She had let herself be distracted by that horrible sound after all. Though, she didn't see how it hadn't bothered him. Her ears were still ringing. She frowned to herself and got back to her feet, pushing herself up with her sword.

Uwasa smiled. "Well i think that's enough your pretty good with that sword though." He said as he rested his sword on his shoulder and sighed. "But what happened you all of a sudden like got distracted?" He said a little confused to what had caused her to act like that.

Kira blinked, glancing towards Uwasa. He hadn't heard it? She raised a hand, pointing a clawed finger towards a tree that had an ice arrow stuck into it. "That arrow," she explained. "At first it sounded really pretty, but when it struck, it made this horrible noise..." She resheathed her sword at her side and looked back up at him. "So it messed me up.."
