"Yeah, you're a bit more creative with that. I don't have that particular talent." Alexavier replied. To him the subject seemed a bit of a dead end since he wouldn't find what he was looking for any time soon.

"You wanna get some other clothes or are you fine parading around in a catsuit that's wearing down?"

She raised a brow, "Is the catsuit inappropriate?" She glanced down, realizing the various holes she had burned in it and said, "Hmm... I suppose it has seen better days. Anyways, clothes are clothes to me. The only point of them is to not get arrested or put on some front to try and communicate some persona to others. Honestly, I don't even remember the last time I went clothes shopping. And, it isn't like I should go clothes shopping looking like someone who walked out of some fetish video or bad comic-con."

Tom rubbed his arms uncomfortably as he thought how to best answer Trinity's questions. "She'll wake up thinking she just had a nap. To her, she was in a coma for thirteen years up to last week when she woke up in her lab. Some details have been changed or removed."

"She felt this was the only way. Most of her troubles came from those memories from when she was a machine. Thirteen years worth of memories without feeling, and then suddenly having to cope with every one of them. For all intents and purposes she shouldn't have anymore emotional outbursts outside of what's considered normal."

She looked to Gidget's body once more We became close as sisters those past years...does that no longer matter? Does that mean we'd be starting over, practically?. Loosing what they had was a harsh blow but she knew Gidget had a hard time coping with being in a machine's body. …
Yet, the memories they shared... the bond they had... couldn't out weigh the painful ones as a machine?

She thought about simply waking her up to talk this over...but would it be worth it? Is this the right way?

Trinity waited for Tom to answer and found his silence was even more extended than before. I see… she took out her badge and looked at it. It read "Head of Security Valhalla." There was a Valkyrie motif in the middle. She looked at it and thought for a very long time and decided that 13 years of secrets kept from her, now forever, could she really continue keeping people safe? Her secret source for that gas that was used on Shane was never revealed to her. Even though Gidget gave her the Head of Valhala position she had no opportunity to explain more thoroughly what this all entails or even consider the fact that Trinity never wanted both jobs and would rather stick with being the Head of Security. If she is going to forget the past 13 years, making me Head of Security was part of that past. On top of that there are 13 years of secrets that Gidget would let me know on a need to know bases. I don't know if I can continue doing the job I need to do if she has forgotten all including the secrets she kept from me and keep people safe with the unknown variables. I'm turning in my badge. She placed the badge next to Gidget. Let her know that her first order of business is to find a new Head of Security. I'll let my back up know the details. She walks out the door and closes it.

She dropped through her shadow an e-mail was sent immediately to Chuck Richards which detailed him on the current situations at hand and provided all the links needed to do the job. Chuck had been reliable in the past and has shown he was able to handle things on the rare occasions when Trinity had to recover from sickness.

She shed a couple of tears as there was a broad internal communication on what the troops needed to know. She started to wonder what she was going to do with herself, security was her life for 13 years. She remembered the text her sensei sent about his mission. It's been more than a week since she heard anything regarding that. This usually means things may have gotten a turn for the worst. She got the coordinates of where the last text was sent. Took screen shot on her smart phone and then told IT what was up.

She whipped her eyes then emerged behind Theonis' chair, "I'm back" she said softly and somberly. At least the good news is she could spend more time with the one she loves.

Theonis was just finished up his cheeseburger when Trinity reemerged. Frankly he didn't think she'd be back so soon. He did notice her eyes were a bit more...watery when he turned around to look at her. Her voice also sounded a bit sad. " You okay?"

Trinity was going to fall apart as Theonis asked his question. It was nice that he asked but the fact that he asked meant that it was obvious. She didn't want everyone to see her fall apart, currently they all still thought of her as Head of Security. Instead of answering Theonis they dropped through their shadows and emerged in his apartment behind the door. She grabbed a tissue knowing for certain that the tears come. Taking a deep breath she looked down as he sat on the bed while she leaned against the wall. She couldn't look at him at the moment. "I turned in m-my badge…b-because Gidget. She decided to have her memories for the past 13 years forgotten." Out of frustration she hit the wall she was leaning against she took a moment to wipe her eyes with the tissue.

The shadow traveling itself was nothing new but it was so sudden. Maybe it really was that bad. When they returned to his place he sat down on the bed to listen to her. It seemed she didn't want to look at him. He didn't press the matter. What she said did catch him off guard. He had expected some sort of fight between them but certainly not this!

"Wait, just like that? But that means-" He stopped himself in mid sentence. He knew what it meant and why Trinity was like this. Theonis got up and walked up to her. " I'm sorry"


"Thought you didn't care for appearances." Alexavier replied." Well I could always get you something but there'd be no telling what I'd come back with you know that.

Trinity realized that now she was emotionally compromised another good reason to turn in her badge. "I was worried that the secrets she kept from me all that time... would only make matters worse if they were entirely forgotten... and so I felt that if I couldn't protect people if there are variables that are entirely unknown..." She looks back at him her eyes were still a bit red but a little less watery.

Theo placed his hands on her shoulders and pulled her in for a hug. For now he wouldn't try to argue with her about it despite thinking she made the wrong decision. " So, what are you going to do now?" He asked softly.

"Thought you didn't care for appearances." Alexavier replied." Well I could always get you something but there'd be no telling what I'd come back with you know that.

"I will have you know that I am thirty and I have had a toddler," Annie replied with a shrug. "I'm getting old. It isn't like when I was seventeen and could show up to class-especially my art classes- in whatever from dressing like a two year old to pulling off the type of look I'm sporting at the moment and be told 'oh you're so clever and artistic: I love your style'. Besides, I didn't dye my hair for a fashion statement recently: I did it to help keep a low profile from Daedalus. Of course I shot that to Hell," laughed Annie.

"Go ahead, get me something: I don't really care. Should I give you my sizes and measurements for reference?" She asked, sarcastically. "Of course, mind you I am getting to the age where I am expected by society to have an appropriate sense of fashion."

She held him she was glad that he was being supportive. "I don't know... I'm thinking about tracking down my sensei, Teshoumaru. His last message is almost two weeks old now. Something must have gone wrong with his mission to rescue Freya."

"Maybe they both retreated to the mountains. Away from everything, ya know." He replied." There's also that technique he asked you to master right? If things go bad against that being we might need it." Holding her like this, even though he was comforting her, felt nice. They mostly hugged or cuddled after sex. " Well...just take it easy for now alright?"


"They also expect you to unconditionally love your kid and not running of with strangers killing people. Society isn't our friend I think." Alexavier replied and hopped of the roof and flew towards the shopping district.

"Haha, ouch," Annie replied dryly. "Yes, well, I think technically many members of society wouldn't hold it against me for dumping my kid too. It wasn't like I chose to have him. And, he does look almost exactly like his father-not exactly my favorite person to remember. Though he did somewhere pick up some of my facial expressions which is creepy considering his physical features. Anyways, considering what I can do, I think society would look for reasons to hate me even if I was the epitome of an excellent citizen."

Trinity nodded and said,"Alright... Heh at least the bright side to this is I could spend some more time with you." She looked up to him and smiled. As she held him in return she couldn't help but feel there was something different that she couldn't put her finger on as if yet. Perhaps she enjoyed being in his embrace so much to not think too much about it.

"Heh...most time we spend together is in bed though. Time well spent though." Theo joked in his usual manner." But this...this is nice too.Perhaps more since we rarely do this."

Trinity smiled at his thoughts. "I'm not sure what I will end up doing next. Security has been my life for the past 15 years. I… I don't know what to next… that is I mean after we find my sensei." She let out a sigh "Part of me wishes I didn't do what I just did but…the more I think about it … the more I don't think I can face her after all we've been through…forgotten just like that…" she let go of him with one hand used a tissue to wipe her eyes.
