"Woah really? Well...it's Daedelus but innocent people? Were they hurt?" Theonis asked." Different note...erm...who's in charge now? I mean you became the overlord of this place and you handed in your security badge. Doesn't that still make you like, the headmistress of this place?"

Her eyes lowered "I got there and was able to create a tunnel of sorts with shadow manipulation. When people got the idea I went after Annie and Alexavier. He caught me off guard while I was trying to find them. I lost control and a few Daedalus agents were killed. I'm pretty sure they killed a few more before I stepped in." She rubbed her arm a bit.

She listened to his next question."On that note I've placed my back up with those responsibilities as well. I couldn't really give him any details regarding that since Gidget didn't detail me on anything on the recent developments. All because the systems recognize it doesn't mean I know what to do or what meetings she had previously scheduled. Perhaps Chuck Richards would have better luck with that. So I'm no long her ‘Head Mistress’ nor ‘Head of Security’."

Theonis wrapped his arms around her waist. " So now you are just Trinity Smith. A freeloader just like me. But hey.....No more work-related interruptions anymore"

Trinity merely smiled at that comment and said, "Right, no more interruptions. Heck, if I so dared I could turn off the phone and not have to worry about anything. Speaking of which, I just need to send one more email which would make it official to the community of Valhalla. I just wanted you to be the first to know." She merely had copied and pasted the message about her current position status and sent it to the people who do the daily email announcements which would notify all of Valhalla. There were a few monitors spread about the facility that would have important one liners or point out events going on that day. "And that's, that... Gee it's been a long time since I was just... me but I suppose… I do forget about work when I'm with you."

"Art.....I can't say I understand what's so great about that. Let's try that. Maybe I'll decide to become an amazing artist. Art does have various forms." Alexavier shrugged

"Art in its purest form is freedom," Annie said with a smile as she lead the way to the museum which was a few blocks away. "Who knows I might see some of my old classmates. Of course one may argue that could argue that could be uncomfortable considering..." She paused when the phone she had borrowed from Valhalla buzzed.

Opening it she paused and raised a brow reading 'Announcement: Chuck Richards is the new Head of Security'. Under her breath she muttered, "Hell must be experiencing a record low in temperatures today..."

"Missing Mom already?" Alexavier asked. Art is freedom? How the hell is art freedom? Sure freedom to express yourself but that's it. What defines something as art he wondered.


"So no more bad cop role playing?" Theo asked as he pulled her closer. He knew the answer though.

"Not really, though it kind of makes me curious what is going on back there," Annie answered with a shrug as she entered a several story building featuring a colorful sculpted butterfly that took up half the sidewalk. She glanced around seeing a wide variety of art-from modernist to impressionist to realism hanging on the walls. Most were from local artists. She stopped as she noticed a painting of crimson flowers and read the label and shook her head.

"So no more bad cop role playing?" Theo asked as he pulled her closer. He knew the answer though.

She felt him pull her closer, she started to play with the ends of his hair a little. Trinity was hesitant at first when he posed the question and thought she'd answer not any more. Instead something else came to mind, then she answered, "All because I'm not a cop on the outside...." she pressed her leg on his thigh to catch him off guard as the shadow from under the bed reached out and grabbed his waist pulling him toward the bed "...doesn't mean I can't hold you under-bed arrest." she wasn't sure if that last part sounded silly or sultry but she just wanted to go with it.

She was on him holding his wrists down and started to kiss his neck down. Her lips came close to his ear, and she whispers, "you have the right to remain silent" she continued kissing him nibbling his ear. "anything you do or don't do will be held accountable in my court."

Alexavier gazed upon his surroundings as they walked. This is art? The ********? "Seriously? They call this art? How is this art?"

Oh how he loved when she acted like this. He liked it when she was in charge like this. "Just what are my charges ma'am?" Theo asked as a pressure tip slowly ran down Trinity's back.

Trinity waited for Tom to answer and found his silence was even more extended than before. I see… she took out her badge and looked at it. It read "Head of Security Valhalla." There was a Valkyrie motif in the middle. She looked at it and thought for a very long time and decided that 13 years of secrets kept from her, now forever, could she really continue keeping people safe? Her secret source for that gas that was used on Shane was never revealed to her. Even though Gidget gave her the Head of Valhala position she had no opportunity to explain more thoroughly what this all entails or even consider the fact that Trinity never wanted both jobs and would rather stick with being the Head of Security. If she is going to forget the past 13 years, making me Head of Security was part of that past. On top of that there are 13 years of secrets that Gidget would let me know on a need to know bases. I don't know if I can continue doing the job I need to do if she has forgotten all including the secrets she kept from me and keep people safe with the unknown variables. I'm turning in my badge. She placed the badge next to Gidget. Let her know that her first order of business is to find a new Head of Security. I'll let my back up know the details. She walks out the door and closes it.

It didn't take long for Gidget to wake up after Trinity had left. By then Tom had also excused himself. She smiled and stretched with a cute little moan. She felt refreshed, ready to take on new challenges. That's when she looked down and saw Trinity's badge. Her face scrunched first with contemplation, then with disapproval.

She reached over to the night stand, grabbed her phone, and brought up Trinity's contact listing. She pressed the green phone symbol on the screen and waited for Trinity to answer.

"How is it not?" Annie replied with a shrug. "What do you consider art, then, oh wise one? Because for example the flowers-" she pointed to the flowers, "-that red is pretty unique if you ask me. He was a year ahead of me but we had a class or two together. He only dated redheads-usually natural, sometimes dyed- and all his paintings contained that distinct red. It's his signature. I always thought of it as blood red. I'm pretty sure he was about half a mental break down from becoming a serial killer. Not that I should really be the one to comment on other people's psyche."

"Maybe you don't understand it, but paintings like these are a way for me to read people's thoughts," Annie continued. "It's a way for you to dig into the inner psyche of others. And, to me looking at a painting is just like reading an epic memoir: most people communicate in words, everyone can communicate in pictures or colors if they try, but some people are best understood by speaking in color."

She laughed, "Then again, I think weird so maybe I'm not the best one to be judging what is art and what is not."

"You look great!" Kerana giggled, "We could be sisters cat_wink ... er... Dragon Half Sisters?" She paused a moment and wondered, "Can you still breath fire like this?"

A good question, Heather thought to herself. She drew in a little bit of air with her mouth and felt the secondary gland take in the oxygen. She puffed and blew out a small plume of fire. It wasn't nearly as strong as it was a moment ago, but it was still pretty cool. She was glad she retained some semblance of being fireproof.

Larry could only stand with his jaw agape. It had been quite a while since he had seen his big sister's unscaled features. It took a little bit for him to recognize her old face.

Heather cleared her throat, causing a few wisps of smoke to creep out from her nostrils. "Is it safe for me to look in a mirror? The last time I did I almost set a room on fire." She asked the girls.

Cassandra was happily munching down her pile of various foods. It was pure bliss for her. So many flavors! A feeling she hasn't been familiar with. She almost forgot about the two boys with her. Almost.

"You can always ask Alex for help with that. You got his powers so he should be able to help you with that." She smiled at the boy as she talked.

Damien's shoulders scrunched up at the mention of Alex. "I don't want to ask him. His thoughts make me uncomfortable."

"But how can you read his thoughts? He should be immune to that. But maybe it's because you have his power." Cassandra said." I'm afraid that's the only person I know with your capabilities."

"It isn't just his thoughts," muttered Christian, folding his hands together. "His emotions are off too. I wouldn't know about his aura, but Mom tolerates him. Besides not all people are immune to their own powers or those with the same powers. Mom used to be able to be burnt by acid-including the acid she produced. I still can be. I probably could kill Mom in theory if I changed her blood to acid as long as she didn't change it back. She no doubt could in theory do the same to me. In regards to Alex, I have doubts on if he's as powerful as he and everyone else thinks he is."

"He's bored and doesn't have a lot of motivation. Acts on a whim. But he could put a very large proportion of Valhalla under his control. A scientist said he was a sleeping lion." Cassandra replied between bites."I do not know what it means though"
