Courtyard (North)

Yuki hesitated a moment and then sat down beside him, though she left a foot of space or more between them. She drew her legs to her chest, holding them in place with frail looking arms. "He d-doesn't... believe that y-you're related?" she asked softly, watching his shoulder now. Then she sighed quietly, shaking her head. She knew someone who'd gone through that, but they'd been convinced in the end. "E-either way, that's n-no reason to just give u-up on l-living." She paused for a moment, eyes shifting to his cheek. "Maybe y-you should see h-him again?"

Lee looked down still and the fox came to his left side. It licked his face and he gently placed a hand on it, "I dont want to see him anymore, I almost got him killed just by being there," he replied somberly still. Lee petted the fox as if it were real and it sat like a real one did. "I don't know, Im not going to kill myself, just wonder about what to live for next," he said finally looking up to Yuki.

"O-oh..." Yuki said quietly, watching the fox now. Her eyes widened slightly when he mentioned killing himself. A thought that drastic hadn't even occured to her at first, and she was very relieved he wasn't going to. She felt his eyes on her now and looked back at him, though she focused in the place between his eyes, rather than them in specific. She blinked a couple times, face faintly red again for no reason at all. "U-um..." she began uncertainly. She wanted to find a reason, but... Then her head tilted slightly. "Tv!" she said suddenly. "I-I'm sure there's a l-lot of little p-people you haven't seen y-yet!"

"I know there are alot of people in the world to meet....but none care for me so why should I care to meet them," he said noticing her not looking into his eyes directly. 'Same Yuki,' he said smiling abit more to himself. The fox pressed against his hand so he kept petting it, making sure to give it attention. "I don't know," he said lowly but higher than before.

"I c-care for you," Yuki said with a nod, but then froze right after, her face flushing even darker. "I-I mean-!" She bit her lip lightly, hugging her knees closer to her chest as she dropped her gaze to the floor now. Her tail curled more tightly around her waist as she took a deep breath. She wanted him to cheer up, right? So she looked back at him, her pale face currently bright red, and a faint smile across her lips. Her eyes focused upon his cheek once more as she spoke the quietest she had yet. "I-I really d-do," she nodded again, and quickly looked back to the grass, frowning at a specific blade as if it were the most interesting thing ever.

Lee smiled abit more, "well you're a first then, thank you," he said looking back to the fox spirit next to him. "I car for you too," he said looking back after making the fox spirit dissapear. Lee looked back to the water in the fountain, "well no matter what happens I'll die happy knowing one person actually cares for me," he finished sliding his hand gently across the water, onlt letting his fingertips touch it.

Yuki's eyes widened slightly when he spoke, and she closed them for a second shortly after, taking a breath to calm herself. There really wasn't anything to be so extremely nervous about but... she really couldn't help it. It made her sad too, that no one had cared for him before. Or at least, that's how he made it sound. She had two people now. Him and Hiro. Oh, and the other demon inside her... She sighed quietly, and then opened her eyes, watching his hand trailing over the water. "...I-I'm sure that... th-there are others wh-who care for you too. M-maybe you just h-haven't met yet..."

Lee looked across the water still watching the ripples. "Yeah that is possible," he said actually thinking about it for once. Lee had lived alone and only the little girl he had saved before from the cold had actually cared for him besides Yuki but that had been long ago too. "Well there is another who cares for me," he said smiling as he moved his hand away from the water and to his side but the water continued to swirl on its own.

Yuki watched quietly, almost anxiously, as if she thought he'd push her words aside and ignore them. She was so used to it happening, she almost expected him to start doing so as well. Though, she was hugely relieved when he didn't and a smile actually came to his face. "S-see?" she said softly. She was somewhat happy, despite not knowing who that other person was. But he seemed to be cheering up, at least a little. She spun herself around slightly on the fountain's edge, knees still held to her chest, now with her chin upon them as well, as her eyes watched the swirling water.

Lee felt the wind pick up abit and brush lightly against his face. It was peaceful and soft, making him smile abit more. He had managed a small smile at the least now. "She is probably dead but I dont know that for sure," he said thinking of the little girl again. "I told you off her, she was the little one I saved when I was younger. She is probably a woman now," he said laughing abit. "I'm sure she is alive, but other than her, you are the only person who choses to acknowledge my existance," he said dismissing the little girl from his head.

The water stirred abit and became a little bird that hopped across the water. It rolled playfull and dunked under the water a couple of times before taking flight and hovering around Lee. It finally stopped hovering and rested on his shoulder.

Yuki glanced back at him, eyes focusing upon his cheek again, just watching for a moment. Then she nodded slightly, looking back at the water. "I-I remember her..." she said quietly. Or at least, she remembered his talking of her. She huddled a bit tighter into a ball, the light window blowing her long silver hair messily around, blocking most of her face. Of course, she made no attempt to move it out of the way again.

Lee looked inot the water once more and saw Yuki in a ball. "What makes you do that," he said confused as to why she curled into a ball. "I'm just curious to why you ball yourself into that," he added moving her hair back away from her face. "Relax abit," he said then noticed he was being hypicrtitical cause he himself felt like being in a ball.

Yuki blinked, a bit caught off guard. "U-um, well..." she began uncertainly, not really sure what to say. "It j-just... make me f-feel more secure, I g-guess..." She frowned very slightly, trying to decide if that was true or not. She decided it was, after a moment. Less of her was exposed so she felt a little better, if that made sense. She closed her eyes when he pushed her hair out of her face, cheeks flushing bright red. "O-ok.." she stammered, and slowly released her legs, letting them fall over the side of the fountain so her boots rested upon the grass. Her hands clasped nervously in her lap as she stared at them.

"Well what ever makes you feel comfortable works I suppose," he said moving his hand to his side again as the bird flew from his shoulder. It glided upwards through the air and then dove to the ground smacking on the grass but not losing shape. It chirped and Lee laughed abit, "It's playing," he said as it flew up and glided across the water with one wing. "So how are things with you and that Hiro guy," he asked veting his vision to her again.

Yuki nodded her head slowly, distracting herself by watching the bird. She smiled faintly when she heard it chirp and then looked back at Lee, focusing on his neck now. "U-um, it's fine... He's al-always off doing s-something though," she said quietly. She'd actually started to feel a bit like she was being replaced. She glanced down at the slushie, thinking to herself. She guessed things really were ok though, since he'd gotten her this strange drink.
