More Meteor Showers Bring Even Stranger Powers. (O/A)

"A sleeping beast? Essentially once awoken he'd be a monster, I assume is what the scientist is getting to," Christian said with a frown. "A lot of metahumans have the powers capable of making them monsters. The difference is most are like a large dog verses a wild animal. Both can be harmless in the right situation but if provoked... a lion would take a whole lot less provocation to become a problem than a large dog."

"But look at this!" Alexavier pointed out a painting that was just a bunch of splatters on canvas to him. " How the hell is this a means for others to understand him? Actual paintings of scenario's with certain colors I can understand but this?! I can do better than that! In fact...I am gonna do better than that." Alexavier's eyes darted around. " Now where can I get some paint to correct that painting...." He mumbled to himself.

"We both have our issues." Cassandra replied."I'm just....protective."

Oh how he loved when she acted like this. He liked it when she was in charge like this. "Just what are my charges ma'am?" Theo asked as a pressure tip slowly ran down Trinity's back.

She reached over to the night stand, grabbed her phone, and brought up Trinity's contact listing. She pressed the green phone symbol on the screen and waited for Trinity to answer.

Trinity smiled and she was about to answer Theonis when she heard her phone go off. It wasn't any ring. It was Gidget's. She paused looking at it It's Gidget... How do I even begin to explain to her what's going on with me and not... Bring up the memories she doesn't want.... "It's Gidget..." She merely explained to Theonis. The phone rings a second time with four more rings remaining.

"But look at this!" Alexavier pointed out a painting that was just a bunch of splatters on canvas to him. " How the hell is this a means for others to understand him? Actual paintings of scenario's with certain colors I can understand but this?! I can do better than that! In fact...I am gonna do better than that." Alexavier's eyes darted around. " Now where can I get some paint to correct that painting...." He mumbled to himself.

"It's called modern art, and there is a flow in the brush strokes or drippings. And there is a choice in color," Annie said. "He is still communicating something-even if most people think he is communicating poorly or they don't understand the language."

"And," She added, "Please don't go defiling paintings. Especially ones in art museums. If you are so instant that you can do better, why don't you start with a blank canvas. I have a large supply of paint and canvas back in my residence at Valhalla. And you can start criticizing my artwork while your at it: since you don't seem to like any traditional art."

"So you're a guard dog. That isn't bad," Christian answered. "I mean they are great from what I've heard but if you abuse them enough of course they are going to snap and be dangerous. Alexavier strikes me more unstable than that."

"My hair has better colors than this one!" Alexavier said pointing to his constantly changing hair color. But she had a point. It would be....interesting at least to see what his mind would come up with.

"Okay but can't I change this one too?"


"I'd snap if anyone tries to hurt one of you. Or any other child for that matter." Cassandra replied.

Theo let out a groan. " I jinxed it didn't it? You should probably get that. Ask and let her explain I guess."

"No, that is called vandalism," Annie replied irritated and added as someone glanced at the two confused, "And are you trying to get us in trouble? Pick a color and stick to it while your out in public. Besides, I would argue that I prefer my hair's natural colors too. But the thing with art is sometimes you don't like the message. I assume the same is for reading minds. Sometimes you will find something you don't like."

With a sigh she turned and began to walk out of the museum.

Christian smiled, "I am fairly confident I could handle myself in most situations. I may not have inherited an indestructible form, but I do have basically the same power as my mother. That type of power is best suited for attack, in my opinion."

"Right…but what if she asked why I left? I'm not sure how to even begin to explain why I left without her knowing what she lost?" The phone rings a fourth time.

"Maybe she didn't erase everything. Only one way to find out. Thirteen years of friendship isn't thrown away so easily." Theo replied as he folded his hands behind his head.

Alexavier stuck with a dark brown color for his hair and followed Annie out. He didn't do anything to that painting but once they were out of the building someone else tore it apart.

Cassandra ruffled his head a little with a smile.

Trinity took a deep breath. He's right.. Upon the sixth ring she exhaled sharply then answered the phone. "Hello?"

Alexavier stuck with a dark brown color for his hair and followed Annie out. He didn't do anything to that painting but once they were out of the building someone else tore it apart.

Annie led the way to the car and as she reached the car she stated, "I'm surprised you haven't gotten bored with me, yet. You tend to have a fairly short attention span."

Alexavier was looking at the clouds trying to see animal shapes in them. He didn't know why he did that. Maybe something from when he was autistic or maybe he was bored. He wasn't too sure himself.

"You don't strike me as the type of person to stick by one particular person for long periods of time. I was merely commenting that I was surprised that you haven't gotten bored of me yet."

Trinity took a deep breath. He's right.. Upon the third ring she exhaled sharply then answered the phone. "Hello?"

Gidget perked right up when Trinity picked up the phone. Her tone made it seem as though nothing in the world was wrong. "Hey you." she chimed, "Why did I wake up to find your badge next to me? It's gonna be hard to identify yourself as head of security if I have it."

"I don't really care about anything so boredom comes easily. Conversations and the actions that come after are my way of distracting myself. Sure killing is fun and all but if I keep on doing that....I'll get bored. Everything repeats over and over again no matter what activity you do. I'm sure in time I'll get bored of you too."

Theo whispered good luck before getting up and walking over to the computer. It has been a while since he had checked his stocks. His little experiment that he begun when he first discovered about his learning paid off. He could actually make some big money with this if he kept on going.

She heard Theonis and nodded slowly. Then got off of him as he made his move to get off the bed.

"Heh. Right..." she hoped Tom would merely explain to her that she would need to pick a new Head of Security. She took a deep breath. She had to test her some how. Perhaps something that happened long enough ago that would be hard to forget. Like giving a certain blind meta sight. "Do you remember Justine?"
