[Zejx Frostrider]

Two words were running though his head right now. Why, me. All we wanted was a quick rest then return to surveying the school, but apparently people are supposed to be social. But he figured that he might as well answer her. Not like the school was going anywhere. And by the looks of things, neither was he unless he did answer. "You sure are a lively little girl, you know that? The name's Zejx." He paused for a moment of thought. "I don't really have a favorite color, and no, I hate carrots."

Her mouth hung agape in hearing he had no favorite colour. If she knew the word, 'Blasphemy!' would follow. "You don't have a fovorite colour?!?" She expressly said, just about as good as saying 'blasphemy.' She then kicked her feet some more, quite the energetic one today.. Her bottom scooted a tad closer to the inside edge of the fountain with the little kicks. "You don't like carrots? I don;t like carrots either.. I like potatoes like mushed potatoes and gavvy. I love mushed potatoes and gavvy. Do you? It's the best thing int he world did you know that? Did ya?" Was her next onslaught. Her ehad gave a cant as she now allowed time for him to answer. Her light eyes wide with curiosity as her eyelids fulttered a bit in anticipation for the chance to ask more questions. He attention now was focused upon Zejx. She paid no mind to Taern or Lena. [and I'm pretty sure the dagger is buttoned away in Zejx's shirt sleeve >.>;]

((OOC: sorry about the delay, had to go away for a bit. Lolz i didnt even see that post. sorry ^^; )

Zejx looked down at where he had removed the dagger from, which now laid at his foot. He looked over that the source with a frown. Well, at least he had an idea of where to take the dagger when he was finished talking to the girl. But for now, he was just going to ignore what just happened.

He turned his attention back to the girl who seemed to be just full of questions now. He slowly sat back down against the fountain. "No, no real favorite color. I guess I never reallly thought about it." Zejx paused for a moment. "Yeah, I guess potatoes and gravy are good. I've never really been too picky over food."

Felicity seemed to not notice the gunshots at all, though as Zejx to the dagger her own eyes trailed to Taern. Giving a short smile and wave to the male she had greeted earlier. Her expressions resumed to doling the smile and attention back to Zejx. She gave a few more bounces with a giggle as she waited for him to turn his attentions back to herself, scooting a tid bit closer to the water edge. Once she had his full attention she made the effort to peer around him again, this time asking more questions; "Whatcha lookin at?" As she resumed her position she shot her hands back to lean upon.. only there was no more ledge behind her. For that instant when she had realized her hands had gone too far her expressions relaxed as her eyes widened with shock... oops.

After just sitting still for a while, Taern looked at Lena and stood up, grabbing his gear and strapping up. He then cracked his neck and loosened himself up. Taern kinda stared into space for a while and then looked back down at Lena. "It's starting to get a little boring around here. Wanna go somewhere?", he said kinda casually.

He was begning to wonder why these people used weapons to have fun. It was a bit too dangerous, even if you were an expert. As Zejx was about to say something, he noticed that she was about to fall into the fountain. Before even thinking about it, he was up and had his arm held out behind her so she wouldn't land in the water.

She let out a giggle as she felt Zejx stop her; at first the giggle was uneasy but it soon grow the the giggle any around her would become accustomed to. "I almost fell!" She gasped, Captain Obvious strikes again! She then latched upon what parts of his arm she could and pulled herself towards him. "So, Zej- Jexie, I'm hungry." Stumbling with transforming the name into a nickname she gave that fluttering look once more that just screamed out Dear God FEED ME!

"Heh, yeah, you almost did..." But him thoughts were else where at the moment. He was worried about how he was able to catch her in the amount of time. That was faster then normal. There was almost no way someone could have reacted that fast. The only explaination would have been....

Zejx quickly looked down at the water. His eyes widened as what he feared had been assured. His reflection was fading in and out. That is when she latched on and told him she was hungry. "Yeah... maybe we should go get something to eat..." He finally looked away from the water. "Yes, food is a good idea. Wanna go find some? I'm new here so don't know my way around fully. Mind leading the way?"

She would futher squirm her way up to him, trying to crawl up high enough to latch her arms around his neck so she wouldn't have to walk. She hadn't been there too long herself, most of her time was spent playing about the courtyard until she fell asleep, only to wake up in a few hours to do it all over again. "Uh-uh.." She responded, if she had made it around his neck her grip would set, using the phisics of the position to make it very hard to get her off. If she were somehow denied the spot she would undoubtably keep trying, jumping and latching on whatever closes or limbs she needed to to make it to her final destination. "I donno where food is.. that's why I'm hungry!" She giggled a bit once more.

Zejx didn't try to stop her from latching onto his neck. He just let out a sigh and slowly stood up. "Very well. Looks like we will have to find it together." He glanced back toward the water once more and was relieved to see that his reflection was back to normal. That was all he needed. If the wrong person were to see that, it could have been very bad for him. "So kiddo, any idea where to start? Have you seen where others might come from with food?"

SHe let out a long "Ummmmmmmm" Before she released one arm to point at a building across the way, she had seen food from there. She had just been too distracted to actually go there and check it out. Her hand soon returned to the grip about the man's neck. Her body wiggling a but as she tried to get comfortable, if he didn't have an arm supporting her she would continue to do a climbing motion with her feet to keep comfortable.

Zejx looked toward the building that she pointed at. It wasn't too far away so he wouldn't have to carry her too long. As much as he didn't mind talking with her, this clinging was going to have to stop. He just didn't feel comfortable carrying a kid around that he just met. "Then I guess that is our destination. Hope they have something good to eat cause I haven't eaten all day. But when we get there, I'm going to have to set you down so I can get the food." With that, he began to walk in the direction of the building.

She nodded an alright as she waited to then be delivered to the food place. Her squirming would slow as she became more comfortable. Her lips pressing together as she began humming her tune again. Her painted cheek leaned to his shoulder as she was already making herself at home. Poor Zejx..

Lena stood next to Taern, her eyes frowning as she watched the other two leave. She glanced at taerna nd smirked. "We could always go back to that place they call a training room. Practice a bit more." Lena rotated her arms, cracking her joints in the process. She raised an eyebrow and her lips twitched a little.

Taern thought for a bit, and remembered back to what happened before. He figured it's be fine to go back as long as he didn't do anything as rash as he did the first time.

"Sure. Let's get going."

He figured that training for a while might help clear his head and get his personality and the things around him back into clear perspective.
