"K" Theonis simply replied as they rose higher but not too high." Heh kinda reminds me when I first took you up here."

She smiled at the thought of that memory. What would have been a painful trip home became one of a skydiving race and discovering that she truly met the right man. "Yeah sure do. You said you'd bring me up here when I was feeling better. I suppose this counts, right?"

"No thank you. I for one prefer not to go through life scarred. Though I am curious I will pass. Though it'll be fun to see if you could burn Cassandra. Not sure if they already tried that one her. Think they did." Alexavier replied.

Cassandra wanted to pick up both boys and with her strength that would have been nothing at all. But Christian was the smallest one. He really was even if he didn't like to admit it. So she picked him up and held out her hand to Damian.

"I guess it does. Though it would have supposed to have ended in bed and not like this." Theonis joked as they continued to soar through the sky.

"No?" Annie laughed, holding out her arm dotted with a handful of acid burns. "The scars aren't that bad. Or I would like to think so. Maybe that is me being overly vain and a bit too positive. And, I'd rather not pick a fight with Cassandra if I don't have to. Trying to burn someone with acid is usually mistaken as an act of aggression."

Shrugging she added turning the corner, "Wonder if Cassandra and I could chat about Daedalus experiments... Getting shot is an unpleasant sensation, even in liquid form. Of course, in my case attacks tend to go through me and not bounce off me as I would assume it would work for her."

"A positive mask perhaps." Alexavier mumbled." I doubt she'd wanna talk to you anyway. If she's even in the mood to talk. I swear she barely talked at all before. Well maybe if you were a little kid she would. Besides...Daedelus tried to experiment on her. All they could do is test the extend of her power. They couldn't draw blood, which frustrated them beyond belief. It was fun. She broke pretty much everything and so far only the anti tank rifle seemed to annoy her. Things don't bounce off. They crash against her." Alexavier said, summing up what they did to her or tried to do to her.

"I was a monster as a little kid," Annie laughed. "If I met a kid like me I would of drowned her in a bathtub or something. Of course, maybe Cassandra would talk to me. She has a patience for children I lack."

"And, most Daedalus experiments I just went along with. I suppose if I had shifted into my liquid form I could have prevented them from drawing blood or whatever. Not that I see poisonous blood serving that much purpose. Guess it was interesting for them when I went back to good old B- for a while, but also I didn't have my power during that time, so..." She shrugged, rolling her eyes.

"Drowning you now would seem to be a bit too late and futile huh?" He replied. "Ahh the downside of having a test subject that you can't perform good tests on. I made the people take the shots themselves.Good times."

"Probably, especially since I can technically be water," Annie laughed as they reached the cafeteria. "I don't see how you can drown water. And, I generally played along with most experiments. Just, I don't see that much of the data would do any good for them. They tried drugging my food for a while. What a waste of money. Seriously, they already knew drugs of any sort even Excedrin does nothing to me. Now, I realized that I could win so many drinking games at bars and parties. Ah, the true potential of my power, I can see it now."

"I guess it does. Though it would have supposed to have ended in bed and not like this." Theonis joked as they continued to soar through the sky.

"I would have preferred to end it the same way…" she smiled a little.

Her eyes grew distant and saddened a little. "Though I'm not sure if I should go back to Valhalla…of course I'd come and visit you in secret but…everyone… they'll ask why I left and I can't tell them. If Gidget catches word of it then… she will be forced to remember what she tried to forget and as much as it pains me to say…for her sake it may be best that I don't come back."

"Well we'll cross that bridge when we get there alright? I can always talk to her since she is bound to come looking for me if she doesn't find you. I'll ask a few questions bout your past together. I don't know that so I can't slip up there. But like I said. We'll cross that bridge when we get there." Theonis responded." We getting close?"

"Didn't know you were a party girl." Alexavier looked around. His link with Cassandra might not be as strong anymore but he could still detect her even without his powers."And looks like Cas is about to leave. With your and her kid."

"I'm not. Unless it served a purpose for me. Networking. If I did want someone cute to make out with for the night. Getting free food," She explained. "Picking up money from drinking games might be useful, too. And everyone likes to show off occasionally."

"And, that sounds good about Cassandra. I really have no need to see her. And she is taking Christian off my hands for a while," Annie said. "Sounds like a general win for me."

Trinity was distracted, in awe of him to be more precise. Just when she thought she had him figured out he seemed to have surprise her. She was expecting him to say it was a crazy idea about not going back and that she was over thinking it. Then again with Theonis' learning curve, over thinking was probably not an issue. In the end she had been dating the wrong type guy before him.

Focusing on the question at hand she checked her smart phone to see how far they were. "Yeah… we're almost there." After a couple of moments,"Here we are down there. There wasn't much it was mostly dry patch of land hardly any shadows surrounding them. "Ok…so this is where his last text came from. Lets try to find some clues as to where he went. Only problem is, if he sent this while in the shadow realm we may be at a dead end."

"Well in that case....use your own shadow right? I mean if it has been sent from the shadow realm than the only way to find a clue is in there. Unless he left a message the old fashioned way somewhere in here." Theonis replied and began to look around.

"I don't even know how the two of you even spent time together. He just reads and you paint in silence or something?" Alexavier said as he watched Cassandra and kids leave the cafeteria.

"Keeps me from trying to drown him," Annie joked. "And he enjoys reading. I am letting him pursue his own personal interests. And I will have you know I do care for him. I feed him, make sure he is clothed and bathed. Besides he can care mostly for himself: why get involved?"

Ako shrugged to himself as Liv left the room. Her interest hadn't been missed, and had they met a mere few weeks ago, he would have at least made a pass at her. Now, though, he had Gidget, and whatever problems she may have, he would stay loyal. After all, she was really the only person he had. He'd never been able to have more than one or two friends, even when he was living with a group of people. Of the five people he'd met in that apartment, only Gidget still spoke to him. He knew Annie was somewhat involved with Valhalla, but other than those two, he'd lost track of that entire group.

Thinking of Gidget, he felt the need to check in. He was more tired than he expected to be after such a short exercise, but maybe seeing Gidget would give him some strength.

He wondered if he was being a bit clingy as he pulled up her number and hit 'send.'

"Because that is what parents usually do I suppose. Not that I have any experience regarding that matter. I was abused and beaten if I do remember so clearly, Which I do. I guess you won't do that to him since he is a genius and not autistic. Besides he can fight back with your own power." He replied with a bit of a shrug.
