Liz watched her other half leave, but then looked to Darius. Darius needed someone more than Lily did right now. She was in denial at this point, and would be fine on her own. She'd probably just be wandering around Ria, looking for someone who could see her, or touch her for that matter and make this seem like a dream to her.

Darius however, knew the truth and he was hurting bad over everything that had happened. Liz sat down next to him, and rest her head on his shoulder gently as she let tears fall from her own eyes. "Yeah...she's really dead..." Liz said softly, wiping the tears from her eyes trying to be strong.

"But she's still here Darius...so there's something wrong right? I mean...she should have moved on to the after life by now..." Liz said, feeling more tears falling from her eyes as she knew that she and Darius would have to try and help her move on. Though...that would be terribly hard for them, because if they did help her move on, they not only wouldn't be able to touch her, but they wouldn't be able to see her or talk to her or anything.

Darius didn't say anything instead he mearly cried. It wasn't just the fact that Lily was now dead, it was the fact the Liz might be soon to follow...She said it herself about her losing the will to live. And if that truly was going to be the case. He would once again be left alone, the girls would eventually pass on, and then...he didn't know what to do.

"I don't know what to do," he sobbed, "I'm going to be all alone again and nothing is going to stop that."

Liz saw Darius crying and knew what he was feeling. He loved Lily, and she was dead, and now Liz knew the fearful truth. She would die from this. She couldn't live without a full soul. Of course, she had no idea how Lily died, but she figured hers would be worse. Slowly fading away with her friends surrounding her. It would be almost unbearable to have to let go.

"...We mustn't give up hope...maybe...maybe there is something we can do..." She said to him because her sobs as well. It was indeed hard to think straight when you were crying so hard.

There was no reply from the grief stricken Darius, there were only muffled sobbing sounds coming out. It seemed that there was now a great pit that he had fallen into that he couldn't get out of. In fact, it seemed that his depression had blocked out what Liz had said to him.

As Darius continued to cry, Liz look at him, wishing he would wrap his arms around her and tell her it would be okay, but she couldn't expect him to always be strong, and this was effecting him just as much as it effected her.

"Darius...Darius there has to be something...anything...it just can't end like this..."

Darius heard her that time but it seemed that he just didn't seem to care anymore. Life seemed to take a downward spiral now. The two people he loved the most...would be dead and gone...it was only a matter of time.

"It's all over," he whispered, a mix of a sob and a sigh in that voice.

Liz looked at him in despair. Darius was the go to man. If something needed to be done, they went to him. If he was giving up...she was dead. Her fate had been sealed with those words.

She nodded but said nothing, getting up, tears still falling from her eyes as she walked towards the edge of the courtayrd...not knowing where she was going...but she was going somewhere. Somwhere where she could sulk in silence. She didn't want to see anyone, it would only make her hurt more than she already did.

It was a sad fact for anyone to oversee as Liz walked away from Darius. It seemed that he had now shut of the world from everything. Adrift in the sea of his own dark feelings. So much so that he didn't even notice that one of his loves had now walked away from him. Leaving him alone at the spouting fountain. The truth of Lily's death had now seemed to be now making Darius die, at least on the inside. If it was not death, then perhaps it would be described as him being a empty shell. Devoid of happiness, thought, life, only sadness remained. The taste of salty tears now lingered leaving a bitter taste in his mouth, but it didn't affect him in the least.

The girls of whom he loved were little glass birds in his eyes, delicate and pretty, but now one had shattered and Darius was too busy grieving to notice that the other, who was equally as beautiful had flown away.

Darius was dying inside...and it seemed that nothing was going to stop it.

Only an hour and a half later, Liz returned to where she had left, a more determined look on her face now. She had been ready to give up and give in...but something was off. If they were meant to just let go...Lily wouldn't be a ghost wandering around. She would have moved on to her after life and left Darius and Liz alone to assume and cope on their own.

"Darius. Get up." She said to him in a soft, yet slightly commanding voice.

"Darius...You're not alone
together we stand

cause you know we'll make it through, we'll make it through." Liz sang to him softly. She was going to help him through this pain, so he could help her save a life. Her life in fact.

"Darius. I know you love Lily...and I know it hurts to know she's dead...but she needs you more than anything right now...you're the only one who can help her...and the only one who can save me..." She said to him in a soft tone, but silently praying he will understand.

Darius heard the melodic voice of Liz and he listened hard. Her voice seemed to be trying to inspire her and at the moment it was not, however he listened to her, understanding what she ment. For the first time since he sat down he looked up to Liz his eyes now renewed with a fresh set of tears.

"I'm so scared Liz," he began, "I don't want to lose you too..."

She smiled when he finally looked at her, but she could see the saddness in his eyes. A saddness that was mirrored in hers.

"I know Darius...it's scary because I don't know what's going to happen either...but if we don't try...I will die no question about it." She said shortly.

"But I have never known Darius to back down from a challenge when it came to helping his friends and I still believe that there is no problem the three of us can't handle. We'll find a way...we always do..."

Darius stood up and wrapped his arms arround her in a tight embrace. He needed to hold someone and Liz was the best candidate. He just wanted to hold her for a while and not let go. She was right, through the darkness and sorrow they had to stick togeather and try.

"I'm sorry Liz," he began sadly, "For how I acted and everything. I guess I was so saddened by the truth, I couldn't acknowledge the possibilty that we could make it through...thanks..."

Amorella walked into the courtyard with her new form and sat beneath a tree. She sighed heavily and glanced at the transparent wings attached to her back. "A pixie... of all things to switch to this time," she mumbled, shaking her head. She tucked a strand of turquoise hair behind her ear and sighed again. Rising from where she was sitting, she flitted her wings and hovered a few inches above the ground. Amorella giggled a little, at the new prospect of being able to fly. She looked around and flitted over to another area of grass. She landed and lay on her back, looking up at the sky.

Liz smiled and gave him a hug. "It's okay Darius. It was to be expected..." She said to him with a smile.

"Now..I suggest you try and find Lily...the sooner we can convince her that she's...well..dead...the sooner we can work on a solution. Maybe we can bring her back...I mean...she's still half alive isn't she?" She said, referring to the half of Lily's soul that abided in Liz.

“Ooooooooooooo that look kind of perverted!”A tiny voice playfully squeaked. Sitting on top of two stacked drink can Wisp smiled at Orthae with very mischievously grin on her face, knowing all too well that she probably just embarrassed the poor young man to death. But she played it off with a playful wink. “It’s probably best to let her sleep for now.” Wisp said to Orthae as she tossed him a can of juice. “I hope apple juice it alright? The machine gave me two for one.” Rolling the other can over to where Seira laid Wisp looked at her young master. “Poor girl...” She thought aloud as the tiny figure brushed a strand of hair from Seira’s face. “...So many things happening in just one day... no wonder the poor thing is so exhausted. It all so overwhelming for someone who hasn’t had any real interaction in so many years...” Wisp gave a slightly sad but frustrated sigh, but then she turned and smile at Orthae. “I wanted to thank you Mr. Angel for being so kind to Miss Seira, I’m eternally in your dept. Actually... this may sound a bit odd from an android ... but do you if I ask you a little more about yourself.”
