Courtyard (North)

Amorella walked into the courtyard with her new form and sat beneath a tree. She sighed heavily and glanced at the transparent wings attached to her back. "A pixie... of all things to switch to this time," she mumbled, shaking her head. She tucked a strand of turquoise hair behind her ear and sighed again. Rising from where she was sitting, she flitted her wings and hovered a few inches above the ground. Amorella giggled a little, at the new prospect of being able to fly. She looked around and flitted over to another area of grass. She landed and lay on her back, looking up at the sky.

Amuro wandered onto the grounds. His jacket was securely placed over his shoulder and his katana gently placed under the double cloak. "Well, lets look at my classes here." Amuro pulled out a rumbled up piece of paper which he had recieved earlier. It showed his dorm room number, his student I.D. and his classes. Amuro walked around the courtyard with a sense of confusion about him. He remembered what had happened earlier. Just then, his arm began to hurt with emense pain. Stupid, don't let yourself get so worked up about it.

Hanma walked into the school grounds with nothing but himself, apparently he had just his wallet, the accpetance letter and the clothes he was wearing which appeared to be a near punk and martial artist blend of styles, perfectly cloaked in black, and his long black hair seeming to be up and about rather than fallen down like the ramone's hairstyle.. His eyes did not leave the path in front of him. He came to Ria to look for someone, and well his search was just starting, but from his stand-point, he was directly in the middle of it.

He however did glance by only moving his eyeballs left to right to observe. His 'Little brother' arrived here shortly 6-7 months before, and well he had heard tales of a talented botanist that could only be him... Hanma would eventually find his younger brother, it would just be a matter of time.

"I wonder where you hide now little brother?" Hanma spoke to himself as he glanced up at the sky and watched the clouds go by.

Darius broke the embrace and nodded.

"I guess you're right, we'll have to find her soon though. Because we might be running out of time." he noted, "I guess she's probably in ancient forrest...are you comming with me?"  

[Kumizu]

Kumizu raised an eyebrow. Why was it so difficult to answer a simple question? It's not like they were asking about Kagahn. "Why not just tell the truth? Even if it's this hard to figure out, I can-" Kumizu was cut off by the rustling sound. He clenched his fist and generated a sword. After centuries of being hunted, this came as a reflex. He then stood in front of Ayise and Ezekiel protectively. "And I assume neither of you know what this is?"

Amorella sat up when she saw Amuro in the courtyard. SHe looked around frantically for a place to hide, but then relaxed as she remembered that he couldn't recognize her. She sighed contentedly and stood up. "But I'm still wearing the same clothes..." she said to herself. Amorella shrugged and figured her wouldn't notice. Beating her wings lightly, she hovered to a bench closer to him and landed. She watched Amuro intently, but didn't approach him.

Liz looked to him and smiled. He knew Lily all to well. Of course she'd be in the ancient forest, and Liz hadn't even thought of that. However, when he asked if she was going to come with him to the ancient forest, she shook her head. "I'll be along in a few minutes...but this is something you need to do...my being there would only complicate things. Besides, I'm feeling a little tired, I'm just going to sit by the fountain and rest for a few minutes okay?" She asked him with a small smile.

It was essential that Darius got to Lily, and convinced her of what was going on. Liz wouldn't be able to convince her. Lily had always been a stubborn one. Stuck in her ways, headstrong and strong. Her greatest weakness had always been Darius.

If anyone was going to convince her...it was Darius.

The rustling stopped and then a small dark head poked from the bushes. Coming from the bushes and clutching a small black bear under her left arm, a tiny girl of no more than three or four wearing a plain black jumper toddled out brushing the leaves from her perfectly straight bangs. "..." Her dark eyes stared first at Kumizu and then drifted to his sword before she pursed her lips and made a face at him, before sticking her thumb in her mouth.

"That's...Tsubaki." Ezekiel sweatdropped, "I don't need to be protected, you know..."

Ayise's eyes wodened, "You're okay!" She ran up to the child and picked her up off her feet squeezing her.

"Momma..." Tsubaki mumbled quietly, "Squishing me..."  

[Kumizu]

Kumizu was rather surprised to see a small child come out of the bushes. Still, nothing is ever as it appears to be... He didn't relax until Ayise ran past him to the girl. He unclenched his fist and the sword disappeared. "That's Tsubaki? The person you were so hesitant to talk about?" The word 'Momma', irritated him a bit, but Kumizu wouldn't let that show.

"If you remember when I spoke to Elliot he told me she was ill. I was worried, I hadn't seen her when I returned home, although no one told me she'd gone missing while I was away." Ayise looked relieved, "I didn't want to see her if she wasn't feeling well, I don't like to see anyone hurt not only that but I might get sick too." Ayise laughed.

"Not reluctant, just..." Ezekiel sweatdropped again, "Well, welcome little mistress..."

Tsubaki clung to Ayise and peered through her bangs at Ezekiel before blowing a raspberry at him. She pulled her thumb out of her mouth, "Meshu zin zin, momma?" She asked pointing at Kumizu.  

[Kumizu]

Ezekiel seemed to be rather uneasy about the entire situation. This made Kumizu wonder what problem the man could have with this child. Her raspberry didn't help it much either.

Kumizu raised an eyebrow once Tsubaki had spoken. "Meshu zin zin? Is she calling me stupid or something?" His response didn't come out threateningly, rather in a humoring tone. Maybe she doesn't like men.... Wait a minute... who is her father? Kumizu couldn't help but show a puzzled look on his face once the thought finally hit him.

"Of course not, she wants to know who you are." Ayise said smiling. "She's far to well mannered to say things like that..."

Ezekiel made a face.

Tsubaki tilted her head and stared at Kumizu while sucking her thumb, her eyes drifted and she clung quietly, apparently listening but probably having a limited vocabulary in english.

Ayise raised her eybrows, "You look confused, what's bothering you?"

Tsubaki's calm dark eyes turned in the same direction as Ayise's, although unlike Ayise's light gaze hers was piercing as if she was looking through him. A few seconds later she looked away and yawned before peering at him again.  

[Kumizu]

Kumizu nodded in response, noting Ezekiel's reaction. The question was still on his mind, but it didn't seem like a good time to ask. Ayise looked happy, but there was a reason Tsubaki had a momma and not a daddy.

When Ayise asked, Kumizu of course denied it. "Nothing's wrong. I am a bit tired, but... wait, I'm sorry." He shook his head. "I didn't answer her question." Kumizu kneeled down so that he was eye-level with Tsubaki before continuing. "My name is Kumizu."

Darius nodded, feeling slightly worried about leaving Liz alone right now. She may be strong but he still was worried about her resting considering the stituation she was in.

"I'll probably start near the gorge," he began, "So whenever you are ready meet me there."

Without another word he kissed her cheek and turned off towards the anicent forest. He felt a slight dread about having to explain to someone he loved dearly that they were dead and it was not just for Lily but for him as well. It was going to be a hard thing to admit and he could only hope for the best as he moved into the dense forest.

"Darkness lurks in your soul." The small girl said quietly, with Kumizu being so close he was probably the only one who heard her. "Beware of those from your past, beward of those who become close to you, things are not as they seem. Soon you will have to make a choice." Tsubaki blnked slowly and placed her thumb back into her mouth and held up her arms to be picked up.

Ayise picked Tsubaki up and smiled, "She's such a sweet little girl."

Ezekiel's ears twitched, obviously he'd heard, and for that reason Ayise herself probably had but was choosing not to acknowledge it. Ezekiel looked like he was going to say something but merely shrugged and stayed silent.
