More Meteor Showers Bring Even Stranger Powers. (O/A)

Annie narrowed her eyes at him and the doorknob began to glow as acid began to eat the doorknob. "God... I was joking. Joking. You can't go killing people all the time. Think things through occasionally."

Trinity folded her arms and said with a hint of sarcasm. "It's good to know they're still thinking about me..." Her facial expression shifted to concern wondering about Freya, "What about Freya? Is she alright?"

"No. Until the demon is suppressed she cannot be reached."

Trinity's eyes lowered. There was so much going on, her thoughts swirled in her head. There's the army Daedalous is trying to brew up with fragments of meteors they've collected. Then Valhalla's fate, Chuck plans to do a Daedalus take-over. Now we have Freya's demon that only lives to consume. It may be trapped in a light cage for now but for how long?

The meta-human army, although threatening seems they are far off because they're trying to figure out how to control what powers come of it.

On the other hand Chuck could simply take advantage of the meta-humans of Valhalla and use them as new troops or experiments. Well, I took him down before for the position. I can surely do it again... though it would depend on how much training he's been doing over the years and by the looks of this was planned out for some time now.

Perhaps addressing the Shin-Okami first might be best...

"Teshou... how do we suppress the demon? The Genkido Tengoku? That would not only kill the beast but may harm Freya as well..."

"Duh... people are stupid," Christian said. "And it isn't like only dumb people are working in and with Daedalus. Consider what meta-humans can do, if you don't have that sort of power, it makes sense to be worried. Daedalus is seen as their saving grace or whatever. For example, Mom was hoping to find a cure to her blood and didn't want to unintentionally hurt people so she joined as a test subject. Of course that was before Daedalus really went completely crazy or whatever..."

"Their saving grace created a giant, all consuming, near invincible blob. The existence of that organization is going to kill more people than it helps. They need to be stopped"

"I'm not saying they are good. I'm only saying it makes sense people think they are good. Like I said, people are stupid," Christian said with a shrug. "I'm not particularly interested in picking a fight to stop them, though. It shouldn't be my responsibility. And, I don't intend to make it my responsibility."

"Besides, if it wasn't for them, I wouldn't be here," He added with a shrug.

Liv wasn't a dense person. She knew what was happening. Butterflies? In her stomach? It did explain some of her previous behavior. She had the hots for her! Maybe it was wrong to think but Liv didn't care about that. Right now, Heather looked a lot better. Her own expression changed to something more playful.

"Butterflies huh?" Liv replied teasingly." I don't think you're looking at my butterflies right now."

Heather giggled again and matched Liv's expression. "Mmmm. you're right."

She approached and moved behind Liv, her voice oozing desire. "You've had my attention since I saw you at that assembly last week. I had never felt anything so intense before."

Heather took her index finger and brought it up to Liv's right shoulder. Slowly, gently, she drew her small talon across Liv's back and over to the left shoulder. "Until now. My senses are at their peak...and you are filling every last one of them."

"The demon cannot be killed, only contained. It has lived as long as existence itself. We have two options."

"One, we find a metahuman that can create the purest form of light possible. Holy men in Europe were able to do this before, but it took months of preparation and many deaths before they succeeded. It has to be a form of light that contains every spectrum. It will peel away the beast from Okami and give me an opportunity to repair the seal."

"Or two, you speak to it. It will not speak with me, it senses it's twin within me and will attack on sight. The same with any other human or metahuman. You are a direct descendant of your legendary ancestor, and so it may parlay with you out of respect."

"Trinity might be able to talk to that beast but I'm not sure if I should. I have no business in the shadow realm. I don't belong here." Theonis replied. " But....Liv would be the girl you're looking for. She controls light."

Liv barely contained a shiver from that little action of her. She turned around. "Not every sense....not yet." Those words were spoken softly as she drew closer, staring into Heather's eyes. She was being a tease.

Cassandra remained silent. Just focusing on their surroundings. It still felt....wrong. And she wasn't going to let anyone hurt these boys.


"Ahhhhh, you're so easy to fool." He said with a smile and turned back to face her. You just destroyed a perfectly good doorknob. Fine go, shoo!"

"You've never given me a good reason to trust you in that regards," Annie said. "I have none at all. Quite frankly, you are the type that it is best to avoid... not that I win that many points on the likability or people to be around scale."

Tossing her hair over her shoulder she liquidize, before pausing at the door, reforming in her clothes and said, "I can let you out if you want... it would be preferable to you merely forcing my hand and probably easier than getting out yourself... which I'm sure you could do." She placed her hand on the melted door knob and said, "And, you probably are right to a point. Killing off the guy would at least be easier. It isn't like he's probably that great of guy all things considered..."

Talk to it?!? I haven't had much luck just talking to people and having it come out peaceful. First the hatchling, then Annie and Alexavier and now this... she took a deep breath. Well I suppose it's better than it going on a killing spree...How do you even start a conversation with an ancient demon...?

Heather playfully wagged her finger as she also closed the distance between them. "Ah ah. Careful now. Get me too excited and I might have to nibble on you a little bit." she whispered.

Damien shook his head. "I don't know if I completely agree with that. If their actions threaten the existence of not only metahumans, but the unawakened populace as well, then the burden of responsibility is shared by all who desire peace."

He stopped in midstep as the strange sensation rose again. He looked toward the source's general direction and made a face that suggested he was considering options.

Teshou nodded to the young couple. "Very well. Theonis and I will head back to Valhalla and find the light meta while you speak with the beast."

"A word of warning, Trinity. The light prison is impenetrable to shadow walkers. You'll have to enter the chamber through it's only entrance. Once you are in, there will be no shadows to help you. The demon is weakened, but do not let that fool you. It is deadly even in it's current state."
