wow you guys have had some really scary encounters although iv only had a minor few like floating lights and things but there was this one time about a year ago and i had just gone to bed but wasnt tired so i decided to gaze out of my window because it was a clear night suddenly 3 giant circles appeard in the sky i froze! even though i wanted to move and run away i was paralized now i no this doesnt sound like a ghost but hell it was scary! neway the circles where purple each one was a different size and they moved in and out but the 3 circles coverd the size of a football pitch so someone else must have seen them right?!? wrong?!? i asked a freind a couple of doors down who likes astromany and was using his telescope that night an he said he didnt notice anything!! was i crazy!!!! why was i the onlyone to see them! they where huge!!!!! all i did was gaze out of my window nearly all night until i got the courage to blink lol then i ran down stairs and my parents heard me and ran down after me and asked whats up? i said go look out of my window and they did and nothing was there! now i must be crazy!!!!! lol neway post your thoughts smile and no i wasnt sleepwalking or asleep beacuse i had only just gone to bed -x-

ok like a week or two ago my cousin chanon was spending the night over my house (lol three grown women having a sleepover) anyways we were down in the basement where my sister bergundi's room is now. well me and chanon were on the bed and berg was on the floor and we were watching a movie. well i had this feeling that someone had walked in the room (you know what i mean, you can just tell when someone has come in without looking) well i looked at the door but no one was there. so i just ignored it and like 10 minutes later i felt it again and i was like "ok thats the second time ive felt someone come in the room and there's no one else here" and my sister was like "yeah i just felt that too, and last night something was clinking around on my dresser but there was no one in here or anything but me". i mean it was a really strong feeling like someone had come in the room. kinda creepy...

ok so a few more things to report (and im sure ill remember some more after i write this lol). ok well my sister says almost every night it feels like somebody comes over and sits on the end of her bed but theres nothing there. and like a week ago i was laying down talking on the phone with my friend cuz i couldnt sleep, and i looked up and noticed that the time was about 4:06. well everyone knows 3 am is the witching hour so i was like "hey, i made it through 3 o' clock and nothing happened, yay" to my friend and he was like woo hoo. well then he starts to tell me about something and all of a sudden right underneath my feet i feel this strong vibration that lasts about 2 seconds and then stops. i was like "OH MY GOSH!!!" well i checked around and there was nothing under my bed and whatever it was definitely was coming from the mattress, not the floor, and just to be sure i called my sister's cell phone downstairs and asked if any pipes had come on or anything and she was like " no" so i dont know what it was. then the next night i left the basement and turned EVERY light off on my way up and my sis was asleep so i know she wasnt turning anything on, and so i got up stairs and about 5 mintues later my dad was like "go tell bergundi' to quit leaving those lights on down there" so i go down there and the laundry room light was on. but i checked her room and she was still asleep so that was weird. my cuz was over last night, and while i was upstairs something touched her on the butt ( yeah my ghost is a perv,lol). well later she wanted to talk to some guy on the phone so she left my sisters room where we were all watching a movie and she shut the door behind her and went into the next room which is the den. well she was sitting on the couch in the dark (i dont know why either) and she said she saw with her peripheral vision either me or my sister on all fours like we were trying to sneak up and scare her but when she turned and looked nothing was there, and at about the same time something made two loud thumps on my sister's door and there was nothing there.

ok so at 5:30 am the other night i was in my room and i heard very loudly and very clearly the sound of a piece of paper being thrown (you know that rippling sound it makes if you throw a piece?). well anyways i got up and looked all around my entire room but there was nothing. and i know for a fact that there was no paper anywhere in my room at the time anyways...

This is not my story.

My friend Josi was sleeping when she heard a knocking on the door of her room. The knocking was not familiar, so she stayed in bed, waiting. It stopped as sudden as when it started.

Then, she heard a strange and loud noise, like someone squeezing a plastic bottle or something. She kept in bed till the noise was gone.

She was all alone at home because her parents were out of town.

Some friends and I went to check out a graveyard that was supposed to be haunted. We'd been before and nothing had happened. No lights, mist or anything to speak of. On our second trip, halfway there, three sisters *one of whom I'm dating* all suddenly felt ill at the same time. Each one started saying how they wanted to turn back and leave. But we kept going. When we got there they wouldn't get out of the car. Keep in mind it was one of these three's idea to come there again in the first place. I got out of the car and watched the hillside with three other guys. *THey came in their own car* No lights on to speak of. Suddenly, we saw a shadowy figure at the top of the hill. My friend turns the light on and it vanishes. I'm thinking, "Okay shadows, no big deal." Then, as he shines the light down, it looks like this thing steps out from behind the tree. We dimmed our light and this thing actually appeared to walk down the hill towards us. Needless to say, we beat a quick path home.

Heh, I have some weird storys to tell a few actually but I'll tell one for now.

I went on a trip with my family to Michigan. This is where most of my family on my dads side lives. Now alot of the family lived there or was staying at my great grandmothers house. Where she lives there is a big lake with alot of older houses around it.

On this particular night I was left alone while everyone went to dinner and I had felt sick. I was laying on her couch watching T.V. I must have been 13 or so, but anyway so Im laying there and watching the T.V. Suddenly I see what looks like a small child run behind the T.V. I of course was shocked I jumped up and looked behind the T.V. thinking maybe one of my cousins had stayed too. There was nothing behind the T.V. Needless to say I was on edge the rest of the time I was there.

sometimes late at night i hear someone coming down the stairs and when they're supposed to hit the bottom there is nothing and there is no one around. Also (this is also at night) i hear my cabinet doors in my kitchen thud. ( my room is above the kitchen) and two of my friends say that there's a ghost that roams my house.

Heh I've always had problems with my houses.

My last house wasnt as bad as the current.

Last house:
I shared a room with my little brother then. We had a N64 and a TV on a dresser directly across the room from a bunk bed so we could easly watch TV or play while just laying in bed. We're lazy. but the N64 sat on the floor far from the bunk bed. I had top bunk and for awhile when we first moved in I would hear scratching and strange sounds that sounded like someone mumbling to themselfs in the attic that I ws just a few feet away from. The kids in the neighbor hood teased and said it was a poltregiest made up some story about a n old lady dieing in my room. Turned out they hadnt died in my room but someone died there, an old lady in fact, while someone was breaking into her house. After awhile the sounds stoped but the bunk bed would shake untill both me and my brother where awake and then stop. About a year before we moved out, the house got broke into while we where at school. I wouldnt even walk in the house I stayed over at Will's for at least a week. My brother stayed with me, when we finally whent home we couldnt play video games or watch tv in our room anymore. The TV had no remote you have to psysically go up and press the button and anyone thats seed a N64 knows its a flip switch. Whil we where watching TV or playing N64 theyd flip off. In the middle of the night or while we were gone they'd filp on. My hamster died in that room.....But I still say Lisa killed it and not whatever that was happening to my TV and games.


The New House:
I never liked my room, even before we moved in I wanted the room with the door to the back yard. Of course, I wasnt granted it. I don't spend much time in there anymore cept for sleeping, even though, I dont get much that that anymore either. I was up all night but, in the summer its kinda nice to sleep in there. The rooms always much colder then the rest of the house. My gramas always beleived in ghosts and spiritual thingsand teands to me highly aware of them shes never been willing to go near my room. It didnt start out so bad it was cold youd get that chill hear a noise now and then. My rooms now been through 3 brand nes TV's with nothing wrong with them they just stop working. But we started calling it "Bathroom Granny" because randomly people will kinda zone out and just walk to the bathroom and just stand there. After awhile they realize where they are but it becomes annoying. About a year ago my neighbor died and out my window his house is like eh 10-20 feet away. Cence then 2 or 3 times a month we think we hear him but have to remind ourselfs hes dead. He walks between the houses beside his huming the wedding march and you'll hear the gate and then it stops. Its strange cause they'res gress between the houses and it sounds more like he walks on gravel. As for the bathroom granny, shes not granny anymore. In a picture one day on halloween my grama took she fliped out cause a girl was in it beside us and being the supertsicious flip she is she did some chant with the picture and candle in hand screaming for her to leave us alone. Lately in the closet I've herd this sound that is like someone dragging themselfs, up the wall, into the attic then scratching like theyre trying to get though the celing that they just crawled up into. I got no sleep last night because of it. But its too hot to sleep anywhere else in the house. I'ma have to go invest in a fan soon.

i'm not the only one who hears it. My boyfriend spent the night in my room (no i was not in my room. i was downstairs with my friends)and he heard the same things i hear every night. it's weird.

Which is okay, because now I live in the room that the
Ghosts use to resided in biggrin

My sister Jenn was sitting at the dining room table, with her back to
the front door (Our living/dining/kitchen areas are open) When she heard
a clawing at the carpet by the front door. Turning to see what it was,
nothing was there. Then it started to sound like something was being dragged across the room towards the dining area agents it's will.
By this time my sister was standing, and a little more then freaked out.
Just when it was a few feet from her it stopped.....Pretty Freaky

There are a bunch more, from both my sisters Jenn and Steph...
But I figured that's a lot of typing, maybe another time blaugh

During the summer, I was babysitting for two kids. They told me that their house was haunted, I didn't believe them so they told me to go into their furnace room and get their game. I did and there was a sound like someone was sawing on something. It was a really creepy sound but I ignored it, I figured the sound was their furnace. So I went to reach for their toy and it felt like someone breathed in my ear. I tried ignoring that one too, I headed up the stairs and at this point for some reason I got terrified. I the ran rest of the way up the stairs.

The other day, I was home alone and my dogs were outside. I swear a man said my name. It sounded like they yelled it from downstairs.
