Alu:
Before Alu had started aiding the other students with their luggage a brilliant blue light enveloped the area. He brought his hands to his eyes, blinded by the viciously bright light. When it finally faded he faced the Le'Minz; the headmaster's voice boomed with his command for silence. So striking was this display, that Alu was not surprised that the commotion had come to a halt. He turned to Sylvir and huffed out a surprised sigh before returning his gaze to Headmaster Le'Minz.
Geoff:
A brief blue glow crept across the walls, followed by the boom of Le'Minz order for silence among the students and instructors. Ah crap...Wouldn't it figure that the very moment I leave he decides to begin. Geoff took a long drag from the cigar, the red-orange line already near the end. It burned down to his lips and extinguished; Geoff let out the smoke in careful rings. He took the butt in hand and flicked it away, turning back to the door.
Geoff grumbled with irritation. Commencement ceremonies, graduation ceremonies, ANY ceremony related to the academy was a pain, just an interruption from either teaching his class or working on his ship. "I suppose I had better rejoin the fun," he said. With a huff and a push, he slid the door open and slunk back into place to the right of Carlisle.

The tremendously large figure looked down at the podium and shook its head slightly. It stepped down off of the stage, standing just in front of the rows of students and faculty. Every eye was turned to the mighty Avatar, and the only sound was a faint whistle from a faculty member.
"Now that I have your...undecided attention," the Avatar's voice boomed, a tremendously rich bass.
"I have a few words to say. First of all, please do not think to be manifesting an Avatar in your first week of school. It is doubtful that any of you have the talent, and if they do, it shall take years for it to show itself. Secondly, please be sure to choose a room and settle in before classes start tomorrow - I assure you, it will make your stay more comfortable. Finally, I would ask that you stay on the grounds of the Academy, and not wander about Prometheus without a faculty member accompanying you. Recent political tensions make such an action unwise."
"I will be joining you at our first dinner together in roughly an hour, in the Great Hall. Attendance is not mandatory, but failure to attend will be problematic." The Avatar looked behind him at Le'Minz's fallen form. "I beg your pardon - could one of you pick my body up? I look dashed uncomfortable there. And Geoff, not a single one, d'you hear?"

Meyer had nodded to the last thing Serenus had said, then remained quiet as he noticed the sudden burst of overwhelming aura. Gales' once relaxed eyes widen to the sight of the blue rays and lowered his head to the command that was demanded. He knew the aura very well, ever since it's owner used it to save his life; That was no other than Belfair Le'minz.
The truth was Meyer was slightly frighten by the Head master's Avatar, it made him feel inadequate and even weaker than he knew his illness has made him. He wasn't gifted with the arcane forces or given an aura, just cursed with a illness that was slowly eating away at his lungs. In basic words, he was minimally envious of such gifts. Some rumors say Meyer tried to duel the avatar when he first made it to Prometheus City, flustered from fending off the thugs that Le'minz took care of. That's why most believe he's strictly loyal to Belfair, out of fear. The few that know of his noble backround from Twilhaven think he's planning on taking it for himself, like his corrupt father, Lucius Gales. That's why he tries his best to avoid stories of his past life in that dreadful place.
Meyer covered his mouth trying to hold back another cough, feeling overwhelmed from the aura. The duelist felt pathetic at times like this, he gets worked up over the slightest doubtful thought that pops into his skull. So Gales stood calmly, hand over his lips and eyes closed waiting to receive more words from the booming voice. Once hearing the request of Le'minz material form on the ground, the ill man took a stride forward, the hand once used to cover his mouth in the air. "I have you covered." He said, lowering to a knee to lift Belfair's resting body. He placed his arm over his shoulder and stood up, turning towards the hall.

Alu suppressed a chuckle, covering his mouth with one hand after setting his staff in the crook of his arm. "No, I feel very clear," he said as he choked back his laughter.
His laughter faded quickly when he heard the mention of the upcoming dinner. It was one thing he missed greatly about Owankanta. While food was sparse and the meals light, his people had become very adept as cooks. The foods they made were simple, provided much energy, and were delicious. Oasis mudskippers wrapped in lemongrass and cooked over an open flame, wild garlic and onions roasted in coconut milk, Gotra Leaf stuffed with minced Yathri Beast and soft-root palm. Gotra Leaf was his favorite, an Incultian delicacy he'd grown to love as a child, a meal he wished to indulge in once again, though there was little hope of finding it here.
He sighed and took hold of his staff once more, turning to face Sylvir when he offered his services as a guard to those who wished to explore Prometheus. How nice it would be to search the streets of the city, to find the scum of Omega. He wished he could traverse the city freely, wished he could fight Omega know, but knew all too well that he wasn't capable, at least not yet. Even with his skill with the staff, the gift of the machine spirit remained latent within him. He would stand little chance. No, this was his best chance. Luck providing, machine spirit blessing, he would awaken his power here in short time and then his war against Omega could truly begin.

Gale turned to the student he heard from the crowd, taking instant intrest with his noble offer. He smiled weakly, and stepped closer to the student, Le'minz still hoisted by him. "Quite the honorable gesture." He noted and shook his head softly. "Although we have no real need of your offer." "We of the faculty would rather test our abilities to threats, rather than the lot of you that will be training to do so for yourself one day." Meyer politely added, gazing the man's features, and clothing. He quickly took note he was not from the country, but he sensed a fine, chevaliers aura about the lad, that of which he greatly respect. "Forgive my rude offcoming, My name is Meyer Gales, Professor of Engineering." He took a moment to raise the rapier, still sheathed. "And as the dueling instructor, I feel it as my responsibility to explain protection at Aura."

The Avatar descended from the stage, slowly fading away as it went, its thunderous steps becoming fainter. As it finally vanished, Le'Minz stirred, nearly slipping from Gale's support. As the other faculty stared at him, Belfiar grinned. "I thought it might be best to give the students a taste of some of the advanced curriculum, hmm?" he chuckled.
Sniffing the air, he smiled. "I asked my familiar to aid in the food preparation this evening - he spent most of the day today in the library, both reading books and setting the ones he didn't like on fire." Le'Minz eyed Serenus quickly, correcting himself. "I mean, expressing his distaste for them, of course."
