*waves* i just joined earlier today ^.^ i'm an american doctor who fan. i don't know that much about the whole series, and i haven't seen that much either. i've watched all of the 2005 series and when i was a little girl back in the 80's i used to watch it (back when tom baker was the doctor)... i don't remember a lot from it though... i remember... the scarf mrgreen and the tardis (which made me want a big blue phone booth SO bad), k-9, and the theme song. i'm really interested in learning more about the other doctors... and i would REALLY like to see every ep, starting from the very begining working my way to the present... but i'm having a very hard time getting my hands anything other then the 2005 boxset. sweatdrop gonk

Hiya. I'm another American fan, so I see what I can get around here. I was a fan of the series in 3rd grade, when they still had the classic series late at night on the PBS (Public Brodcasting System) channels...after that, i couldn't see much more, they kicked it off. Anyways, I have come seeking other lifeforms to converse with about Doctor Who because it's just too darn cool, and no one else I know really knows what the heck I'm saying when I start ranting about the TARDIS. biggrin

Hello my name is Ruth and I am 18 and live in Scotland. I always loved Doctor Who but only became a 'fan' when I watched the new series and thought I MISS THE OLD SERIES. Not that the new one's bad, I just love the old one. Maybe cos my parents brought me up on sci-fi I always get a warm fuzzy feeling inside when I watch Doctor Who.

My favourite Doctor is the 2nd one Patrick Troughton because he just rocks in every way possible. Since I got back into the series though I think I have a reason for loving every incarnation! Except for David Tennant. I'm still angry at him for not having a Scottish accent. He's gonna have to make it up to me now.

Our family villian is the Cybermen, though I love the Master too. I'm catching up on all the Eighth Doctor audios and books and things at the mo and crying over the 'Lost In Time' DVDs imagining all those lost Troughton episodes I'll never see! I know lots of bits and pieces of Doctor Who info but have never seen any of the episodes in the right order so I tend to mess stuff up. Kick me if I say anything stupid. I hope to learn lots in this guild and have fun talking Doctor Who.

Thanks!

Hello! I'm a Doctor Who fan from Canada. I first got interested in the series after seeing the show last summer on CBC when they did the re-runs of it. Other than that, I haven't seen any of the other seasons, but I'm hoping to get the original season when the boxset comes out.

Thanks to a fan music site, I've heard voice clips of some of the other Doctors, and I really want to see more of the series. I also own three Doctor Who books and I plan to get more.

Y helo thar everybody!

I've been a fan since I found a copy of the Key of Time series on DVD at the library. I <3 Tom Baker, although I'm rather fond of this new chappie Tennant.

I also, I'm an American, so I've only just now seen the first episodes of the 10th doctor. Huzzah for Sci-Fi channel!

Hi everyone! I just joined- thanks to Hairy Priest for helping get past a glitch in the system that wouldn't let me join. I'm from Australia and I started watching Doctor Who when I sat down with my Dad after school and watched The Hand Of Eldrad on TV. I haven't stopped since then. My favourite Doctor is probably Tom Baker, but I also liked Sylvester McCoy and look forward to David Tennant. So long as he doesn't start singing...

Hello!

I'm Warnersister, DW for short. I'm a 25 year old (shhhhhhh!) British Dr Who fan. Like many of my age, I grew up with Sylvester McCoy on our screens, although I *very* vaguely remember Peter Davison and Colin Baker.

I am therefore a huge Sylvester McCoy and Sophie Aldred fan. I'm collecting the New Adventures books and trying to get my hands on all the Target novelisations. I also have all the BBC books with Sylvester McCoy that I can find smile

I loved the new series too and can't wait for David Tennant's appearance - I think he'll make a good Doctor. Less than 2 weeks to go for us Brits...

I'm currently attempting to make my avatar look at least vaguely like Ace in Remembrance of the Daleks - not sure how successfully, mind you...

Thanks to Hairy Priest for the invite!

hi everyone. im Velvet but my friends timelady42 and isidar_mithran call me Ace because i like explosions.

i love doctor who and was really excited when the new series came to Aus (i mean the 9th doctor series) i cant wait to see the next one if the ABC ever decide to put it on air( i mean, its been out in the UK since Christmas but they dont seem to want to put it on until next year). David Tennant looks like he could be one of the best doctors ever.

my favorite doctors so far were Peter Davison, Sylvester McCoy, Colin Baker and Christopher Eccleston and im waiting to see how David Tennant will do.

i hope i will be able to see the next series some time this year but knowing the ABC, it doesnt look good.

Hiya! I'm a female american teenage Doctor Who fan, so I figure I'm in vaaast minority. I've been a fan since I was a little kid and read the novel version of "Doctor Who and the Dalek Invasion of Earth" of course, I was very young, and I thought a police box was a donut box, and that the Dalek's looked like a kid named Derek in my class. As I grew older and actually started watching the show (on PBS WOO!) I became an obsessive fan and was mocked by all. Gaia is the first place I have found fellow whovians. Thank you *tears up* thank you so very much.

Hi I'm Rachel, I play a male chariture on Gaia cause of two reasons.

1. He is a chariture I wanted to write a book about some day and Gaia gives a good way to make a picture of someone.

2. I don't get random chat-ups from horney teenagers.

I'm 24 years old, I've been a doctor who fan for as long as I remember, my Dad got me started. I have every tape ever released of Doctor Who, some of the books and I'm really good at Doctor Who triva.

I like the new series and can be accused of being a bit of a fan girl cause I'm a romantic at heart.

I named my dog Rose, and she also wears a K9 tag on her collar lol.

Hello! My name is Cassiopeia2113 ( I'm getting it changed soon, once I gather up the gold to do it ) and I've just recently become a Doctor Who fan. My dad bought the Key of Time Series with Tom Baker as the Doctor, so I watched it over our Spring Break. I, immediately, became obsessed with it! Tom Baker and Christopher Eccleston are the only Doctors that I have seen so far, but I'd like to see them all. Personally, of the two that I've seen, Tom Baker's my favorite. I'm making a really long scarf similar to his ( except I don't have the same colors. Mine is black, lime green, and purple ) and it's almost done.
