More Meteor Showers Bring Even Stranger Powers. (O/A)

You guys haven't had an official date yet and he can't get out of bed. So..." The man connected kerena and Alec's mind." There we go. You can't read each others minds but you can create a place for the both of you to go to. Like a dream I suppose. Enjoy."

The light bars vanished. Liv was a bit annoyed by Trinity. "Geez calm down. Your teacher told me to do that. Don't take it out on me when your bf and teacher dragged me into this. He told me to restrain it not kill it and that's what I've been doing. If I wanted that thing dead it would have been already." The bars reemerged from the prison but didn't touch the demon. They just stayed there.

Lights flickered in Valhalla as a stream of electricity surged through them. On very brief occasions you could almost see a humanoid form when it stopped for a second to decide its new route.

Damn, that meant she would need to access the facility cameras to locate her. Without batting an eyelash she strode over to her terminal and typed in her credentials. She was met with an error message. "The Hell?" she inquired with a raised brow.

After trying again and getting the same result, she placed her hand on the personal direct access panel that she had made for herself. She could feel the connection to the machine. Suddenly she was met with a loud screech in her ear and a numbness in her hand.

She yanked her hand away and held her head with the other. Her eyes teared up and she looked over to Ako, "Something's wrong. I'm locked out of the system. Even after giving up my position I should still be able to access it with my powers."

Ako had glanced over to watch Gidget's progress, and was disturbed to see her in tears, clutching her hand. His brow furrowed more at her explanation of what happened. For the system to have that effect, it likely meant someone was trying to keep her out, specifically. "Why would someone be trying to keep you out?" Was all he could think to ask.

"LIV! I SAID STOP!" she takes her coat and tries blocking the light from the shrunken demon.
"What is happening to her now? What happens to Freya if I become your host?"

"We...have been bound for so long...she feels this. Take me, and Freya will be free of my influence and darkness."

Teshoumaru beat on the glass and shouted, "Trinity, what are you thinking?! Do not listen to it."

Damien shuddered at the sensation. He saw the image and knew it was malicious in nature. He turned to Christian once more and asked, "Will you be safe on your own?"

Ako had glanced over to watch Gidget's progress, and was disturbed to see her in tears, clutching her hand. His brow furrowed more at her explanation of what happened. For the system to have that effect, it likely meant someone was trying to keep her out, specifically. "Why would someone be trying to keep you out?" Was all he could think to ask.

Gidget thought for a moment. The only person who could possibly authorize this sort of lock-down procedure was the head of the facility. Trinity said she was stepping down, so that meant the next in command would be Chuck Richards.

She had never liked the man, but she had to give him an opportunity to prove himself when he insisted on being the head of security. Needless to say, she was more than pleased when Trinity delivered a solid blow to his ego.

"Son of a b***h." She muttered as she went back to the console to contact the man. No sooner had she pressed the com switch when the lights flickered. Her power sensed the strange presence in the flickering lights. She hoped Ako would have a better grasp on it.

"Ako, did you feel that?" she asked as the com rang for Richards.

The current stopped moving for a while. Then it dove into the power grid, draining more and more power.

All Theo could do was block his ears with his power but he knew something was wrong from the way Teshomaru was acting. He unsheathed the blade Trinity gave him. The one she used when she trained under her masters. This was all in her hands but if anything went wrong he would jump in. There had to be something he could do.

The being turned his head towards the direction of Valhalla. It felt familiar to the creature.

Her sensei's plea fell on deaf ears as she became the host to the demon. When all was done purple mist surrounded her as it did before when she filled her ki to max.

She fell to the ground hard as the last of the demon's presence left. She rolled up and gripped her body as though she were freezing.

The demon's ki bonded with Trinity's as the same black smoke rose from her shadow and mixed with the purple mist, causing it to expand.

The demon whispered into Trinity's mind, "I can feel your ancestral light. It is...warm."

Teshoumaru bashed against the glass for a few seconds longer before stepping back and initiating the steps to perform his Wraith of Heaven technique. After dipping his blade in his own shadow he took several quick swipes at the thick wall and glass, seemingly erasing it from existence. He replaced his blade and dispelled the technique.

"Damn you, let her go." he growled as he found he wasn't able to approach the demonic mist any closer for fear of releasing his own demon.

It would have qualified as a very strange and methodical surge, but he had no reason to think it could've anything else until the being's shape flickered in the lights for a split second. He wouldn't have noticed it a few minutes ago, but now it had Ako up on his feet. "What the hell was that?" he asked, managing to keep his voice even.

Gidget could feel the facility begin to loose power. It was a sensation that made her feel ill in more ways than one.

"No...this can't be happening." she said with fearful denial. She typed furiously into the console to try and force a connection to Richard's office. Just to try and get a visual and shout at him if nothing else

Heather could the small hairs on her neck stand on end as the lights played their game. Fearful, she disconnected the call and redialed to try and call Mitch again. "C'mon, pick up Mitch."

Unbeknownst to her, the flesh she had yearned so long for began to crack along her spine.

Not good. This is not good! Theonis jumped through the window when Teshomaru couldn't get closer. He didn't care. something bad happened to his girl and he needed to be there. The man stepped through the black mist but before he could even lay his hands on Trinity purging rays of light illuminated the room. Liv's bars of light now shot out to bind Trinity. There were more of those than before.

Trinity would admit she was never clear about what happened to their bodies when the demons were let loose. She thought for certain that Daedalus would keep Freya and the demon separated. Freya? You were here all along...?. She was beginning to feel doubt in her decision. Was this the best route to take? Before she could check on Freya she felt the demon.

Ancestral light? she thought any other connection to her ancestor aside from genetics and power type were just dreams. Dreams of what the original Trinity went through. Whether she was aware of it or not the light was brighter when she was a confident protector it dimmed a bit since she strayed from that path.

Not good. This is not good! Theonis jumped through the window when Teshomaru couldn't get closer. He didn't care, something bad happened to his girl and he needed to be there. The man stepped through the black mist but before he could even lay his hands on Trinity purging rays of light illuminated the room. Liv's bars of light now shot out to bind Trinity. There were more of those than before.

She saw Theonis and felt worse. How will they be together now if this thing dwells inside. She felt awful how could she not think about him with such a decision. Filled with doubt and dread she submitted to the demon. The light bounded her she looked to Teshoumaru and Theonis with tears of blood streaking down from her eyes. The demon was going to use her.

The light flickered a little. Chuck Richards rubs his eyes as he continued on working on the next phase of his mission. He saved his work. Then noticed the power was behaving funny. He shut down his computer and used his radio to have a couple of soldiers to check out the power grid. At first he was worried that Trinity would make her way back as soon as the power was out. But then quickly comforted himself with the thought that Liv will take care of that and would no longer be a problem

Then he thought of the next phase of his plan... Gidget. He will have her watch as she realized she chose the wrong person for the job. Gidget's phone rang from an unknown number.

"Hello Gidget,
Chuck Richards here. You and I need to talk, please come to my office." Not a word further he hung up.
