Rikki Tikki Travi Gidget slammed her right fist down into the panel, putting a small dent into it. "I knew it." she growled.
She turned and quickly strode over to her hall of suits. As she looked over which one to use she said to Ako, "I am going to meet with him alone. If he thinks he'll walk all over me he has another thing coming. That thing we saw, on the other hand, has me crazy scared. I think it's an electricity meta, like us. Do you think you can look into it?"
Ako raised an eyebrow at Gidget's show of force, having forgotten that she also gained physical strength from the meteor. He was sure she could take on Richards if she had to, but he still worried. Still, he was likely the better choice to track this thing down. Gidget's clearances had been revoked, but he'd managed to stay below the radar so far. Maybe they wouldn't be looking for him.
"I'd rather back you up, but I'll see what I can do." He said as he stood and put his jacket back on. "Call me the second you need me."

Rikki Tikki Travi Gidget found the one she wanted then turned around to face Ako,. "You know I will." she said with a smile.
"And hey, don't go doing anything crazy. You be careful."
Ako gave her that trademark smirk, the cocky half smile that had been so scarce recently. "Now when have I ever done anything crazy?" He asked as he exited Gidget's lab. Overloading the Tesla cannon, running away when everything went to hell, getting too close to a woman with an unknown power and letting her drain you... an inner voice reminded him as he stepped into the hallway. And those are just the ones GIdget knows about.
Ako thoroughly ignored the voice, closing his eyes for a moment to survey his hidden surroundings. He had almost fully recovered his power while talking with Gidget, and though he still really wanted that cheeseburger, the prospect of something useful to do, something to fight, gave him renewed energy. This was going to be fun.
His power over electricity allowed him, when he focused, to sense the flow of electricity around him. That meant the wires, cables, even circuitry in the walls. This ability was usually not all that useful, as he could only sense the wires themselves, not what was around them, but it did help him get an idea of the layout and location of unseen walls, thanks to the subtle fields put off by said wires and cables. To sum all this up, if he focused, he could track this electrical disturbance throughout Valhalla, to a point. He could only see the pathways it took, not the ones he'd have to follow to get to it. for that, he'd have to break his focus and read a map.
It would be a tedious effort to stop at almost every intersection to check on the being and figure out which way to go, but a chase was a chase. With the speed of someone half his age, despite the boots Ako took off in pursuit of the electrical disturbance.

Gidget watched Ako until the door shut behind him. She knew he would be okay, but there was something that still made her worry a little. She shook her head of the doubt and returned to the task at hand. She selected what was less of an armored suit and more of an exoskeleton.
She had gotten the idea for it after watching Power Rangers and clips of Metal Gear Solid's cyborg ninja. A suit that could enhance her speed, agility, and strength as well as provide some close to medium range weapons without weighing herself down or drawing too much attention. Well, aside from the fact that it was pink with black trim.
It took her a little less than five minutes to slip into the suit and go through a functions check. Short blade, check. Stun darts, check. EMF generator that fed from her power, check.
It was still missing something. She went over to a locker that was made to keep Trinity's extra coats and "Ki" vials. She took one of the coats and held it for a moment. She looked at it and hoped that wherever Trinity was that she was alright. Mostly because she was concerned for her friend, but also because she was going to give her friend a piece of her mind later.
Gidget slid her arms through the coat and secured it with the buttons along the front. Her covered hands and boots were still visible, but that wasn't out of the ordinary for her. She then pulled her hair back into a high pony tail. In hindsight she was glad she had taken the time to cut her hair shorter. She loved how long it was, but it sure got in the way while she worked. It also made certain...carnal activities tricky.
She took a deep breath and went over to the express elevator at the end of her lab that went directly to the head of security's office. She had only ever had to use it once before. It was when they had found the facility that held Kerana and most of her classmates. The elevator was only meant to be used for emergencies, but she couldn't wait to tell Trinity.
Just like now, she couldn't wait to have words with Chuck.
The elevator stopped and the door slid open on a wall to the right of Chuck's desk. She took two steps out and crossed her arms in front of her chest. "Chuck." She said flatly and with a hint of disdain.

Following the general direction of the pull of the beast, Ako knew he would have to go down. That meant either hustling down many flights of stairs, or braving the elevators while chasing a being that seeming to feed on electricity. For most people, the intelligent choice would likely be to slog down the stairs. To a walking generator, the choice was to ride in relative luxury. Elevators it was.
He was using the free movement offered by the elevator to close the distance on the beast while he tracked his progress, once again 'seeing' through the electrical fields around him. So, as he descended, he got a very different view than most people when the beast found the generators and really started going to town. Ako's entire world of wires, cables, etc. seemed to flicker and dim. A sudden surge illuminated above him and the elevator's emergency systems kicked in and locked the brakes. His arm snapped out to clutch the hand rail as inertia took hold, and the metal box screeched to a halt. He opened his eyes to see the small space illuminated by red emergency lighting, and blew out a sigh. He'd gotten close enough to see where he needed to go, but it was still a few floors down. He pop open the roof escape hatch, or wait for help like a normal person, but again, a walking generator had other options.
He closed his eyes again, this time sending out a bit of his own energy in a sort of cloud of static, feeling for the right pathway. He'd never done this, but had worked on the theory while using the elevators during his stay here. He wouldn't be able to get the elevators back to full running condition from his current location, but he could at least get his own car serviceable.
Flipping out his knife, he quickly unscrewed the button panel and let it hang from it's wires, exposing the control box. He then reached a hand in, using his power to find the right right, and grabbed it, feeding juice into it. It wasn't much, but this method was going to fry the wire and possibly the system if he had to use it for too long. He figured it would at least get him a floor or two closer. With a lurch, the elevator car released it's emergency brakes, and slowly made it's way a little lower.
After stopping the elevator when the wire's coating started to melt, Ako opened the doors and made his way down the final two floors using the stairs. Easy peasy. Now he found himself looking down a service hallway, the walls lined with conduits, ducts, and pipes. Straight ahead was a room still bright with power, albeit dimmer than it should be. He also clearly sensed a being whose electrical outline was far, far sharper than any living thing's should be. It was as if he was seeing it in HD, while everyone else's aura made them seem fuzzy, like an old tube TV. While it was clearer, it was at the same time harder to make out it's definite shape. It seemed to constantly change, as though it were actually made out of electricity. He knew that had to be the case, how else could it travel through wires, but he still had a hard time figuring out how such a thing could exist.
Keeping his eyes closed and using only his power, Ako made his way down the hall to the generator room. He had no idea, now that the time had come, how he was going to communicate or otherwise deal with the thing, but he figured he would make it up as he went. He stopped as he entered the generator room, letting the door shut behind him. He cleared his throat and raised his voice just a touch to be heard clearly. "Whatever you are, I have to ask you to move away from the generator." He sounded like a cop, speaking like that, but it seemed necessary.
