Teshoumaru shook his head with unease. "There isn't anything to stop them from breaking this seal as it is. There are few alive who are familiar with this seal as it is, and only one that is capable of creating a seal that can't be broken by someone other than the host."

"I'll stop em. I'm not letting them near you." Theo stated. It wasn't bragging or showing off. It was a statement.

Trinity listened to Teshou and smiled at Theonis and thought I bet you'd have no trouble doing that Theo... "Well since I don't have much time as you said we may not have enough time to find the one you speak of." She prepared her neck and braced herself, "I'm ready."

Liv turned to her normal physical self again. She still needed to drain Trinity but just needed the right time and place.

She paused for a moment as she put together something else he had said. "How would you know if it was registered with Daedalus? We don't keep a record of their meta's."

Chuck would admit he'd slip but it did not show on his face. As he was about to explain a potent sleeping gas filled the room which knocked the both of them out. Chuck woke up in his office and Gidget was laced in a cell next to Catherine.

Trinity listened to Teshou and smiled at Theonis and thought I bet you'd have no trouble doing that Theo... "Well since I don't have much time as you said we may not have enough time to find the one you speak of." She prepared her neck and braced herself, "I'm ready."

Teshoumaru nodded to his student and brought the knife down to her neck. He began to chant in Japanese as the seal was being carved. The chanting abruptly stopped when he bared his teeth and exclaimed, "Impossible!"

The cuts he had just made were beginning to heal rapidly. Teshou's eye went wild with speculation, shock, and anger.

Freya reached out weakly and tugged on her brothers pant leg. She spoke softly, with her eyes still closed. "It wont work, Teshoumaru. She's a direct descendant, remember?" she reminded him.

Teshoumaru's expression went from that of anger to that of near hopelessness. He dropped the kunai and looked between Trinity and Theonis.

"Trinity's ancestral blood is rejecting Freya's blood. The demon has found a host that can only be bound by the most powerful of seals. Only our elder sister can perform the task...and she cannot be reached by way of the shadows."

Gidget's eyes fluttered as she regained consciousness. Her eyes snapped open once she realized the situation she was in. She promptly attempted to sit herself up, but found that her movements were sluggish. Not just because of the knock out gas, but the suit felt heavier than it should.

She cursed under her breath when she surmised that this was because they had attempted to either disable her weapons, or remove the suit entirely. Now she would have to do a direct calibration since she was in it.

She looked over to the young lady lying in the cell next to her. She shook Catherine's shoulder and shouted, "Hey! Hey wake up!"

Things were looking bad for her rash decision. She felt the sting of the blade of the kunai but strange it was brief. She looked up. She looked to Freya then to Teshoumaru.

She sighed as she stood up, "It always boils down to that. Sometimes I wish I didn't have this conection with my ancestor. "

She looked over to the young lady lying in the cell next to her. She shook Catherine's shoulder and shouted, "Hey! Hey wake up!"

After Trinity prevented her from having her way with Theonis, she lost her job at the residence department but got reassigned as a scientists assistant. One night she found away do use her pheromones as part of a concoction for a potent sleeping gas. Since she is able to control her pheromones she was able to control the gas so that it wouldn't effect her. Since the new head of Valhalla stepped up, it was clear to her that she and the head have a similar view on Trinity. She coaxed Julie into letting her see her boss for a couple of minutes to plan things out.

Her eyes opened not due to the effects of the sleeping gas on her but from a nap, though Gidget wouldn't have to know that. "Let me guess, Trinity used the sleeping gas on you too?"

"Would it work if she was exhausted? I mean from what I understand her powers are tied to her ancestor as improbable as it sounds to me. Must have been some really strong genes." Theonis muttered the last bit." Could that work? Either that or draining a good bit of her blood.."

Liv picked up the kunai and enveloped it in light." Maybe now? Shadows and the demon don't seem to like light a lot so...maybe."

The being took the blast head on. It quickly became part of him, absorbing it in a fraction of a second. It let out a ....noise before moving forward to Ako again. (( like a tesla coil. Not sure how to describe that sound. There's a vid on YouTube with tesla coils making the soundtrack of super Mario.))

((I am aware of Tesla and his works, I made sure to do some research on electricity before making a meta with that power. I would describe the sound made as a harsh buzz.))

The harsh buzz emotion_awesome emitted as the being absorbed Ako's lightning bolt was paltry compared to the thunderous crack of said bolt. Ako's ears were still ringing, reminding him that releasing that much power made a lot of noise in an enclosed space like the generator room. He was also reminded that using electricity on a being that fed on it was not the most intelligent move.

Going into a situation like this without backup was also a bad idea. Clearly staying cooped up in Valhalla, living the easy life, had made him forget everything he'd learned about fighting. This was not going to end well.

He thought about calling for backup, but who would he call? The only people he really knew here were Gidget; who he knew was busy, Trinity; who he heard was missing, and that one water meta he'd literally run into soon after arriving at Valhalla, and he knew she would be useless. A water meta was very likely to lose against anything electrical, especially at her skill level.

That left him with no options for help, in the lowest levels of an underground complex, facing an enemy that happily absorbed his main means of attack.
"Well, crap." He muttered, slowly stepping back the five steps towards the door. "Might as well see what this does."

Inhumanly fast, the impulses to his muscles boosted and quickened by an innate portion of his power, Ako turned out of the door, slamming his hand onto the red fire sprinkler switch on the wall by the door. A fire in an underground facility would be a very bad thing, so it made sense that any room with machinery would have a dedicated fire suppression system installed. Ako was thankful that this secret facility hadn't ignored building codes as he slammed his back against the door to hold it shut before remembering that it was steel. He turned again to face the door, planting his boot on it to hold it as the fire alarms started up. There was a small window on the door that let him see into the room, and see the sprinklers start raining water, but the angle was bad and he couldn't see the electrical being.

As he took the moment to catch his breath, he knew he was going to feel the effects of what he'd just done when he woke up the next morning. While he had aged well with the aid of the first meteor's effects, he was still at an age he would have once considered 'old.' At least he'd grown into the sort of 'wily old wizard' old, though without the majestic beard. He was at least well versed with his element, even if he did go overboard with it on occasion.

"You wouldn't happen to know where your sister is, would you?"

"Ummm. We lost her around the training rooms. She probably didn't get too far...I think."

"That's as good a place to start as any." Deora shrugged as she resumed her determined pace. "If she's not there, we can ask someone if they've seen her. She's kinda hard to miss, after all."

The pair unknowingly arrived at the training rooms soon after Mitch. Deora was just about to ask Richard if he'd seen Heather, when she heard Mitch calling her name. Without hesitation, Deora took off down the hallway towards the shouts, knowing Larry would be right on her heels.

"Thanks for the suggestion... However it doesn't work that way." She stood up and looked to Theonis. "No matter how exhausted I am, the same blood runs through my veins. The blood that has been carried down, the blood that decided what would happen to me when the meteor hit. The blood that has a destiny that I eventually have to fulfill once I find out what that is."

"I know it may be hard to believe but-" she dropped to her knees. There was conflict inside, her ancestor didn't take too kindly to the demon she now hosts. Talk about her bloodline brought the light back enough for it try to repell the demon.

The electrical being buzzed loudly as it fired a continuous stream of lightning at the door, focusing on one point causing it to glow due to the sheer heat. As the water poured down the being let out a more confused kind of buzz. It couldn't keep itself together due to the water. There was a chunk inside of it. Something almost resembled a piece of a shell. Before it lost full control of itself, it leaped into the generator vanishing. For now.

Theo kneeled beside her." Wowowow take it easy. Don't force yourself."

"And, if you didn't have your power at all? I'm not talking about exhausting. But what if you lost your powers completely. Would that be possible?"Liv asked hesitantly.

"It's my ancestor and the demon...they're not getting along in the same vessel." sweat began to moisten her forehead. "As for your answer Liv, I'm pretty sure my power can be absorbed just like any other meta's. I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one whose power has root in genetics... It's as far as ancient rituals and my ancestor's blood where conflict arises."

Larry had to hold everything back in order to keep from trampling over Deora and Mitch. He coughed and waved his hand through the ash cloud in an attempt to dissipate it. "Sister, are you in there?"

Heather heard her brother and felt something in the way of courage bubble up inside of her. She managed to stand up, her shoulders trembling. With a few beats of her wings she guided the dust toward the entrance to the room. She stood timid, with her wings folded behind her and her arms hugging herself.

"Hey." she muttered nervously.

It took Gidget a moment but she recognized the woman waking in front of her. Trinity had told her about what she had tried to pull with Theonis, but it was irrelevant at that dire moment.

She shook her head briskly and sat in front of Catherine. "Trinity didn't do this. Something is going down and I have to get out of here to make sure the lightning monster and Chuck don't bring this place down around us. I need your help to do that."

She turned around on her rear and lifted her hair out of the way of the neural port at the base of her skull. "They tried to take this suit off and managed to throw off the calibration something fierce. There is a cord hidden at the top of the suit's spine. It's clamped shut and at a weird angle. I need you to pry the covering open and plug the cord into my head. Then I can get us out of here."

"It's my ancestor and the demon...they're not getting along in the same vessel." sweat began to moisten her forehead. "As for your answer Lev, I'm pretty sure my power can be absorbed just like any other meta's. I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one whose power has root in genetics... It's as far as ancient rituals and my ancestor's blood where conflict arises."

Freya sat up uneasily and turned to her pupil. "Hold on a moment. The blonde may be onto something. The demon has certain requirements it needs so it can take control of a host."

Her twin nodded pensively and stated, "In the past the demon would make a pact with a human and bestow upon the host shadow control. When the contract was complete it would take control of the host."

"It needs the host to be bound to the shadows in some way. For my brother and I that involved our lycanthropy. Shadow stalkers are a breed of werewolves that have been shadow bound since the days of the first Trinity."

Teshoumaru's eyes flashed with a gleam of hope. "If she were to lose her shadow powers, it would reduce the demon to little more than a benign tumor. Then Kaylara would have plenty of time to remove the demon safely."

Freya reached out and placed her hand on Trinity's arm tenderly. "But it would mean losing your power for good. Are you okay with that?"

"Losing my power... for good?" she wished there was another way. She wondered if she had fulfilled her destiny as ancestor did all those years ago. Often she had thought that the reason why she looked so much like her and shared the same power was because, she wasn't just a descendent but a reincarnation. But if that is the case why was she able to separate herself from her ancestor, and why were her memories only shared in dreams that felt so distant and foreign to her.

Her power had played a huge roll in her life. Could she really live with out it? One things for sure is she wouldn't have to be so hard on herself when it comes to saving lives. She couldn't save as many, not even if she tried or wanted to. Valhalla would have a void to fill. Then again, she looked to Theonis, it may be her best chance to spend the rest of her life with Theonis. That was a very powerful good reason. With a deep sigh, "I guess I'm going to have to be... Ah!" she dropped to her side, unconscious.

Internally the fight continued. "You have no right to be here demon! She's already hosting me!" She placed the base of her glaive down thrusting a kick forward. She brought the glaive back and around and slash the beast. Following that with the base aimed at the demon's face.

Theonis caught her and gently laid her down on the floor.

"There we go...easy does it." He was obviously concerned about her." You never think things through do you?" He said as he brushed some hair out of her face. "Now we just have to find a way to do that."

Liv cheered up a bit." That's where I come in. It's a...my eh...real power. Light manipulation was my sister's power. Not mine. She didn't survive the meteor and I drained her of her power without knowing about it. I don't normally do this but I don't want her to die. Too cute for that." Liv confessed and kneeld down next to Trinity. She took hold of her hand and started to Drain her. It didn't feel as cold as it usually did. Perhaps because Trinity gave some form of consent.
