More Meteor Showers Bring Even Stranger Powers. (O/A)

It took Gidget a moment but she recognized the woman waking in front of her. Trinity had told her about what she had tried to pull with Theonis, but it was irrelevant at that dire moment.

She shook her head briskly and sat in front of Catherine. "Trinity didn't do this. Something is going down and I have to get out of here to make sure the lightning monster and Chuck don't bring this place down around us. I need your help to do that."

She turned around on her rear and lifted her hair out of the way of the neural port at the base of her skull. "They tried to take this suit off and managed to throw off the calibration something fierce. There is a cord hidden at the top of the suit's spine. It's clamped shut and at a weird angle. I need you to pry the covering open and plug the cord into my head. Then I can get us out of here."

Catherine thought This is going to be harder to persuade her.... She took a look at the plug she was referring to and tried to get it out, the thing was in a real tight spot. "You, know I hate to disagree but she did take this powder away from me and used it on me. The last thing I heard from her was that she had big plans. Odds are gassing you and Chuck was the beginning of it." She kept moving the plug until she got it out, "There we are..." She plugged in the cord to the port in her neck.

Internally the fight continued. "You have no right to be here demon! She's already hosting me!" She placed the base of her glaive down thrusting a kick forward. She brought the glaive back and around and slash the beast. Following that with the base aimed at the demon's face.

The demon slid and slithered around the blows given by the mental apparition. It's burning eyes flared as the demon's shapeless mass grew in proportion to it's rage. "You! You are the reason I have been reduced to this writhing parasite! How dare you speak to me of right to host?!"

Just as it reared back to begin it's assault, the demon felt itself begin to grow tired and become smaller. It could feel it's power fading rapidly and the connection to Trinity severing. It's fury diminished along with it's size. It could only look to the first Trinity with panic and confusion as it asked, "What is this?"

He stood up and turned to Deora and Larry uncertain how he was going to explain what he thought had happened. Then Heather answered, without another word he rushed to her and hugged her tight, " I'm glad you're alive." He let go of her and this time got a better look. Wings? White hair? This was not how she looked the last time he saw her. "Sorry I don't know what came over me" he blushed a little he hopped hugging her didn't completely blow his chances. "I take it a lot has happened since we last saw each other... mind filling me in?"

Heather was surprised by the sudden embrace. She awkwardly returned the hug and chuckled nervously, "Heh, long story short I'm kind off a dragon girl. My human skin just burned off. That's why there is a all this ash flying around."

She looked over to Larry and Deora. "Sorry about wandering off. It was hard to stop myself from following the lights."

She gave the two another once over. Her eyes grew concerned as she asked, "You guys look like you were thrown across a floor. Did I miss something?"

Catherine thought This is going to be harder to persuade her.... She took a look at the plug she was referring to and tried to get it out, the thing was in a real tight spot. Gidget could feel the connection almost immediately. It didn't take long for the suit to sync back to her thoughts. There was no longer a delay, and it was just in time too. She disconnected the cord, retracted it, and stood up.

She stepped over to invisible barrier that kept them in the cell. She smirked, knowing that shorting it out would be easy. But she needed answer, and she had a feeling that Catherine would have some.

She turned to face her cell mate and asked, "Did Chuck get gassed too? Where is he?"

She looked over to Larry and Deora. "Sorry about wandering off. It was hard to stop myself from following the lights."

She gave the two another once over. Her eyes grew concerned as she asked, "You guys look like you were thrown across a floor. Did I miss something?"

"Uh..." Deora looked down at herself, for the first time noticing that her shirt and jeans had dust and bits of debris clinging to them, and a few strands of violet hair hung in front of her face. With a sheepish grin, she looked back up to Heather and brushed the violet locks back with her hand. "That's kinda what happened. Señor Richards has made it pretty hard to get an appointment. She said, trying to brush some of the dust off of her clothes. Larry had caught the worst of it, but he was still technically a boy, a niño. He was expected to be dirty.

Larry added, "His assistant threw us out using her powers."

Heather's wings twitched with annoyance. She huffed, producing smoke from her nose. Despite their difference in size she was still very protective of her kid brother.

She looked to Mitch and asked, "Can you get me an audience with Mr. Richards?"

Nova Blancke

The electrical being buzzed loudly as it fired a continuous stream of lightning at the door, focusing on one point causing it to glow due to the sheer heat. As the water poured down the being let out a more confused kind of buzz. It couldn't keep itself together due to the water. There was a chunk inside of it. Something almost resembled a piece of a shell. Before it lost full control of itself, it leaped into the generator vanishing. For now.

Ako was impressed by the sheer power the Being was sending into to door. He knew it was strong, but you can never be sure of an electricity wielder's power until you see it used full force. This was an impressive show, and Ako knew it was likely only a fraction of what this thing was capable of. After all, the sprinklers were doing their job, and the Being's outline was getting fainter. It was breaking up.

Ako thought he could see something inside the thing, but he was distracted as he foot slipped on the door. the heat was melting the sole of his boot, causing it to slide on the metal door as he leaned against it. When he looked back up to the small window, all he could see was steam from the sprinklers hitting the super-heated door. When the cloud cleared, the room as empty. He noticed the lights flicker for half an instant, so quick he almost didn't register it, and felt the electrical pathways around him shift. He thought it was the Being, but soon realized it was just Valhalla's systems redirecting power to run off battery backups and the auxiliary generators elsewhere in the complex. An alarm was flashing in the generator room now, and he was sure repairmen were on the way.

Ako took his foot from the door, a clear copy of the tread pattern melted onto the door, and closed his eyes. He searched as far and wide as he could with his power, but the Being was lost to him for now. He guessed it's power was so weak now it was blending in with the power coursing through the wires around it. With a frustrated sound somewhere between a growl and a groan, Ako pulled out his phone and pulled up Gidget's number. He hesitated a moment, wondering if she was still talking to Chuck, and if he would be interrupting, but this was important. He hit send an waited.

She turned to face her cell mate and asked, "Did Chuck get gassed too? Where is he?"

Catherine knew but she couldn't answer for Gidget would suspect something. "Well he's certainly not here that's for sure." she answered merely stating the obvious. She got back on her feet dusting her lab coat off a bit. It was obvious she was in good shape even though with her power she didn't have to do much she still felt she should look the part. "However I think I can lure someone who might have answers..." She adjusted her button blouse to show a hint of lace of her bra.

She blew a kiss toward the nearest guard. The guard was surrounded by her pharamones and was drawn to her. The pharamones were surrounding her and affected Gidget a little. The guard came to her and felt her cheek as if he was her lover, "I couldn't keep my eyes off of you. Is there anything I can do for you?"

"Yes," she felt his chin. "Can you tell me what happened to good ol' Chuck?"

"He was hit with some potent sleeping gas and I had just heard he has just recovered in his office. He had sent an order before their meeting to send Gidget down here for her protection from Trinity."

"Thank you" she gave him a kiss and retracted her pharamones causing the guard to wake from her trance.

When he came to his senses and pushed her away, "Stay away from me! What did you do to me!?! I'm happily married!"

"That's not what you said to me moments ago..." She said while she was on the floor playing with a few strands of her red hair.

The guard looked at her in shock and discust then walks off to call his wife.

Catherine loved how easily she could mess with people with her power and simply smiled to herself. She also managed to swipe the keys in the process without anyone noticing. She looked to Gidget,"Did that answer your question?"

It's fury diminished along with it's size. It could only look to the first Trinity with panic and confusion as it asked, "What is this?"

Trinity felt herself fading she feared because of this her decendent would not fullfill what the meteor had brought them here to do. With this thought in mind she looked serious as she continued to fade away. She meerly uttered "I'm sorry..."

Trinity in Theonis' arms was breathing easier now but was getting more pale by the minute. She looked like she needed to recover from the shock of losing her power and connection with her ancestor.

((I'm trying to have a reason for her to be taken back to the medical facility ))

Liv finished draining her completely. She got up and looked around. Strange how she could feel where the shadows were. "She is going to need a minute to recharge. It's usually this way when it isn't voluntarily. Well not completely." Her own shadow crawled up from her legs to her arms, covering the majority of her in shadow." Still....this is an interesting power" Liv looked around to the people she was with." Do you need me for something else?"

Theonis was silent. Normally he'd have a bunch of questions for her but right now he was just focused on Trinity.

Light's all around Valhalla flickered a couple of times once more but this time the audible buzz was heard throughout the facility.

Catherine loved how easily she could mess with people with her power and simply smiled to herself. She also managed to swipe the keys in the process without anyone noticing. She looked to Gidget,"Did that answer your question?"

Gidget sneered and rolled her eyes in annoyance. Trinity didn't say much about the incident from the week before, but now Gidget understood why there was an incident to begin with.

"Danger from Trinity, of all the stupid-" she muttered while reaching through the bars and reached to the control panel in order to open the cell with her power. She quickly withdrew her hand when she felt a terribly painful shock run through her arm.

"Gah! What the Hell?!" she exclaimed. Yet another part of Valhalla that she was cut off from. It was beginning to piss her off. She had redone most of the facility over the years, and now her baby was being turned against her.

She grumbled, "Grrr, when I get my hands on Chuck I'm going to-" She stopped in mid sentence when her built in messaging system pinged. With only her power, she commanded the suits holographic display to fold out from a small plated on the middle of her collarbone. A name and location was displayed with the word "incoming" blinking.

Definitely an important call. She turned toward Catherine and asked, "I need to take this. Could you open the door, please?"

The "incoming" message was replaced with a signal strength indicator and oscilloscope display. "Ako, thank God you're alright. You're not gonna believe where I am."

It's fury diminished along with it's size. It could only look to the first Trinity with panic and confusion as it asked, "What is this?"

Trinity felt herself fading she feared because of this her decendent would not fullfill what the meteor had brought them here to do. With this thought in mind she looked serious as she continued to fade away. She meerly uttered "I'm sorry..."

Trinity in Theonis' arms was breathing easier now but was getting more pale by the minute. She looked like she needed to recover from the shock of losing her power and connection with her ancestor.

The demon's visage was taking on a more solid form, weak and small. It's eyes softened and became aware once more. Memories of it's once lithe fingers holding Trinity as she lay on the ground, just moments after her near fatal encounter with the fiend of old. It, no, she wasn't going to let this happen.

It reached out with it's frail fingers and took hold of the first Trinity's hand. "No." she whispered. "Our pact remains, and there is still work to be done."

She pulled herself toward the fading Trinity and embraced the ancestral ghost. It used the last of it's strength to encase them in a thin shell made from her own shadow. If the daughter of shadows could not save the presence of the first Trinity, then she would have to do all she could to preserve the will of the first Trinity.

She closed her eyes, allowing the sleep to wash over her. She would stay this way, cradling the last of Trinity's will like a sick child.

Liv finished draining her completely. She got up and looked around. Strange how she could feel where the shadows were. "She is going to need a minute to recharge. It's usually this way when it isn't voluntarily. Well not completely." Her own shadow crawled up from her legs to her arms, covering the majority of her in shadow." Still....this is an interesting power" Liv looked around to the people she was with." Do you need me for something else?"

Theonis was silent. Normally he'd have a bunch of questions for her but right now he was just focused on Trinity.

Teshouaru was about to answer Liv when he was unexpectedly jumped by his twin sister. He was thrown onto his back and held his sister off of him with crossed arms.

Freya had taken hold of her brother's fallen knife and was doing all she could to drive it into his throat. The funny thing was, this was on a list of the last things she would have done at the moment.

Teshoumaru cut his eyes toward his sister and hissed, "Freya. what is this?!"

Freya fought as hard as she could to speak. "I...I can't stop...myself. He's close...the beast master." Her face twisted in pain as she futilely fought against the meta's control.

Teshoumaru cursed under his breath. His eyes darted from side to side quickly when his keen hearing and smell picked up on something.
He called out to Theonis and Liv, "The guards are coming. Get out of the light prison and use the shadows to get Trinity somewhere safe. Liv, you will have to shadow walk. It is the only way you three will escape."

His already weakened condition wasn't doing him any favors. Freya took advantage of this and drove here weight down on her brother. He shifted his weight and directed the blade of the kunai into his right shoulder. He hollered in pain and shouted, "Go!"

Light's all around Valhalla flickered a couple of times once more but this time the audible buzz was heard throughout the facility.

Damien had wandered the facility toward the location of the disturbance. Just as he caught sight of Ako, he felt the malevolent presence disperse again.

His head tilted curiously as he looked up at the flickering lights. He tried to reach out to the mind of the electric presence. He whispered, "What are you?"

Theonis's thoughts raced. They came here to get both of her teachers back and now they were forced to leave worse off than they had come. Trinity wouldn't forgive herself if anything happened to them in this state.

"Goddamnit Trinity." He cursed. But gave her to Liv.

"Keep her safe!" Theo told Liv as the light prison vanished. The machine that supported it crushed due to giant spike of pressure.

Liv merely nodded and sank through her shadow with Trinity. It was a good thing meta powers seemed to have a memory. She always knew how to use it after draining them.

With the force of an sledgehammer his slammed his power against Freya to knock her off Teshoumaru. Another blast focused on her head. Mainly on her jaw and temple. Not of the same force. He didn't want to kill her. But the blow should provide enough force to knock her out. If that wouldn't work he had to be more aggressive and slam her against the wall with a lot more force.

"Trin would never forgive herself if she loses you both. We either leave her or drag her with us. I can restrain her.
