Kreig silently chastized himself for not being more cautious, he knew she had noticed his slip up, and she wasn't going to let him get away with it that easily. His mind raced to think of something to say, what to lie, what truths to bend, or, just tell the truth, it's probably so bizarre she wouldn't believe me even if I told her the whole truth. So with a little more confidence Kreig became a little bit brighter. His facial features lit up in a joking manner, "Oh I hypnotized him, he fell for the whole thing, best thing was I got a few air miles for nothing. The tricky part was trying to hold the hypnosis long enough to get through the flight. You know how it is."
In the way Kreig managed to say it, it would fool anyone into thinking his persuasion was a big joke. But while his mind gently brushed hers, he felt something different about her, some unknown comprehension beyond normal humans. Soon he began to doubt she might even buy his little act. However, Kreig kept his bright smile and joking manner, not wanting to sell himself short.

(just gonna re-write my post instead of editing that last post., riyo) "I need your blood, Kirai. "What?" "I need your blood. Cut your thumb." Kirai, scoffing once, removed his left glove, and allowed his tag to slither out again. He very gently pressed his thumb against it's edge; he managed to cut himself rather deep, anyway. His tag twitched a bit in reaction to his pain. Austin pulled out a thimbel and a small paintbrush that came with his scroll. He pinched Kirai's thumb, and took an ample amount of blood. He dabbed his paintbrush in the thimbel. "Before I proceed any further, you need to take an oath. Do you swear, that as long as you are alive, you will take all responsibility for the actions of this individual from this point forward? He shall be forever be bound to you, and you will be his Guardian." Kirai thought for a moment, considering only the negative effects of this deal. "I accept. Yes." Austin took Kirai's hand slowly, and painted an ancient symbol on the back of it quickly. "Don't touch that. Back away now, this part gets a bit freaky.
Kirai retreated to the safety of the bench with Regalia, wondering what could possibly happen next. Austin wrote a similar symbol on the head of the offering. He took one look at the arms that lay beside it, severed from the demon Kirai had summoned and killed earlier. Austin gripped a hilt of an imaginary sword. He swung it quickly, and the wind picked up in an amazing gale in front of him, materializing in a blade and slicing the arms from their sockets. He tossed these arms away simply. He pulled the demon arms over, and shoved the evil things in their respective sockets. He formed a few hand-seals. His middle and pointer fingers began to glow. He ran them across the flesh of the offering, stitching up the arms almost instantly. When he was finished, he backed away slowly. "For this next part I need complete silence to focus. Please be quiet. "Hurry up with this, man. This isn't the best spot to do this." Austin's brow raised slightly. "Oh?" Kirai had to resist growling at Austin. It was very appealing. "Just hurry up before a teacher shows up."
Austin closed his eyes and began to slowly form hand-seals; but something was different about the way he was doing it.
These hand-seals hadn't been in used since ancient times, and had long since been considered outdated. They were raw and powerful in their nature, and seemed strangely different from the ones used in this time period. Austin's voice became a very deep hum. He was focusing his lungs into doing circular breathing(which was rather difficult for a seasoned smoker to master) and his voice went into some type of Tone-chant.
His hands stopped on a seal. They floated, apparently of their own will, outwards. His arms were limp and hung like string from his wrists and shoulders. His hands grasped at something...invisible around the offering's person. The way he gathered it up and balled it, it might have been a blanket; but his hands became closer and closer, as if he were balling up aluminum foil instead of cloth.
Austin's eyes shot open. He smashed the ball in his hands with a loud clap.
Suddenly, but not through immediate attention, the area came to a complete standstill. All sound ceased; faded naturally, almost. A creepy feeling encompassed the area.
All around Austin, pieces of the would-be ball that he'd shattered earlier made themselves apparent in the forms of blue-ish shards of translucent glass. They began to float upwards and accumulate in a small cloud over the corpse, glowing brighter as they came nearer to one another. Austin slowly formed seals again, humming, and chanting.
The glass liquidated into a misty spray, which accumulated on Sendo's ashes. They began to glow bright blue for a bit, before tinting to a dark purple, to red. Austin stopped, yet again, on a seal. The offering was consumed with red energy. You could visibly see the lengthening and reshaping of the bones and muscle tone. You could feel hatred and malice and evil in the surrounding area. Austin formed more seals, but at such a speed that nobody could even see his hands; they were almost illusions. He wasn't going to allow anyone to see this part. Black electricity crackled along the surface of the sacrifice. A small whirlwind formed around it; Ashes and red energy fell away from the skin of the offering like plaster mold. These shavings compressed into a ball in the middle of the air above the corpse; By it's red light and plain view, you could see Sendo's body had taken the place of the previous Neko-boy. Austin held out his hand. The ball floated slowly over to him, and he grasped it loosely. "RISE FROM THE ASH! PHOENIX RESURRECTION TECHNIQUE!" The ball of red energy crackled intensely with dark energy rippling across it's surface. Austin thrust the ball into Sendo's heart. Two things happened following this.
The first was a bright flash of red light, which blanketed the area for just a moment. The second, was a searing pain in Kirai's hand, which caused him to grip it in recoil. He observed the symbol Austin had drawn earlier. It was no longer blood; it was a red tattoo. Kirai looked up from his tattoo, to Sendo's corpse. At first, he didn't move, but then...
Sendo groaned in pain, feeling rather like Frankenstein for a moment. 'Whoa..That must've been some party.' It was the only thing that could explain the two questions that immediately came to mind when he sat up; 1. Where am I? 2. Whose close are these? And, invariably, a third; 'Did I even go to a party last night?'
Austin spoke quickly and directly to Kirai. "Remember, under your binding contract, everything that he does now reflects upon your soul as well." A gust of wind combed the grass of the courtyard, and Austin disappeared into it like a fading mist, leaving no trace of his being there.
When Sendo saw Austin, he shot to his feet. Purple energy accumulated violently across the spikes of his arms, and his hands basked heavily in its burning power. The bloosdlust of the area spiked. "GET BACK HERE-" Kirai called out to him quickly. "SENDO! Leave it be. He is gone." Sendo turned and took a look to see who was beckoning him; it was his friend, Kirai. "Hey, Kirai, what the hell is going on? Did I have one too many and wander out here, or something? Because I'm having trouble figuring out how I ended up here.." Sendo approached Kirai slowly. He took a glance at Regalia. "And this is?.."
"Ah yes. Regalia, this is my friend, Sendo Kemuri. Sendo, this is Regalia." Sendo tilted his head back in a reverse nod. "How's it goin'?"

Kreig smirked as Sapphire placed hear earphones in the cloth. He used one hand to quickly lay the long wire across the cloth. He then foldedthe cloth so that the earbuds hung out at one end and on the other end of the cloth the base where one would connect the earphones into the music player.
The questioning look that plagued her eyes only boosted his confidence to a higher point. He knew he was regaining his original advantage. With a knowing smile Kreig began to explain his trick in the way any preformer would talk to a crowd, "Now, as you can see, I have one solid pair of earphones, not rigged in any way." After that he nodded to Sapphire, making sure she understood so far. "Now, when I rip this cloth in half, like so." With that he promptly ripped the cloth in half, along with the wire inside. Before she could react he removed the two halves of the earphones from the cloth, showing her to make sure she understood there was no long any way they could possibly work. "But this is where it gets interesting," he held up the earphones close to Sapphire's ears, "now I want you to think of the song you were just listening to, and don't tell me." After a moment of waiting Kreig began to hear a soft tune emenating from Sapphire's severed earphones. He smiled and the sound grew louder, becoming clearly audible from the earphones.

Baeli walked slowly in to the courtyard, taking her her surroundings. She whistled, realizing how huge it was. Seeing a boy and a girl talking to each other, she smiled and ran up to them. They both appeared to be around Baeli's Eruthian age. The girl was fairly tall, for a girl, that is, and her hair was red and brown. It looked dyed. The boy was about six feet and tan with jet black hair. They seemed friendly enough, so Baeli introduced herself.
"Greetings!" she said with a large bow. "I hope I'm not interrupting anything! My name is Yelena Catalina Gracia Baeliano Silva Almeida. But, of course, just call me Baeli. I don't expect you to remember all of that, oh no! I have a hard time remembering it myself, sometimes!" When Baeli said her name, the words appeared to fly off her tounge. Her Portuguese accent was heavy, but her English was mostly understandable and her vocabulary impeccable. Again, she smiled. The smile was large and friendly, despite the fangs that were in the place of her canines.

Kreig clapped in impression, he shook his head in disbelief, but his grin remained. He could have never guessed she would turn out to be a fortune teller. He had always thought they would be old and baggy with a crystal ball, but obviously, the young attractive girl in front of him proved otherwise. "That was very good, very good indeed. I find it hard to believe I could do anything to top that." The fact she could see into his past bothered him less than he expected, in fact, it felt good to have someone else know of his shady past.
His thoughts were interrupted when another girl with a heavy accent approached and greeted them. Kreig turned his attention to the girl who had entered. She was of a general height, curley brown hair with green eyes. She stood smiling, with vampiric fangs clearly visible. Having been proven wrong about stereotyping only moments before, Kreig greeted the newcomer with the incredibly long name in a friendly tone, "Oh hey Baeli," He pronouced her name with a slight Portugese accent, which he assumed was where she came from, "I'm Kreig, Kreig Korwytch." His eyes flicked back over to Sapphire as he remembered her asking "Do you always say your name like; James, James Bond?"

If Baeli's smile could grow any larger, it did. "Hello, Kreig. Hello, Sapphire. My cousin - well, my third cousin, actually - goes here. My parents heard about the school and thought it might be a good place to go." The first part, about her cousin attending Ria, was true. The rest was a lie. All three of her parents - her father, her stepmother, and her mother - were dead, but Baeli thought that was unneeded information. Besides, why would they care?
"Oh, and why is your name so long?" Sapphire said. "Gosh darn it. I gotta stop thinking out loud. You don't have to answer that."
Baeli laughed. "I am from Portugal, so it's sort of customary. The first three names - Yelena Catalina Gracia - are my first and middle names. Baeliano was my mother's last name, Silva my father's, and Almeida my father's father's." She didn't explain why she went by her mother's last name. Again, it seemed to be useless information.

Kreig absent mindedly wondered what kind of family a Portugese vampiric family must look like. He shook his wondering thoughts out of his head. He looked back at the grinning girl, and Kreig admitted that those vampiric teeth made Baeli look a lot more agressive than usual. He waited politely through both of the girl's conversation, all the while barely managing to keep his eyes away from Baeli's vampiric teeth. Before he could stop himself Kreig blurted out, "Forgive me for asking, but are you into the whole human blood thing or should I stop being worried about it?" Kreig caught himself, and he tried to correct the situation, "Sorry, don't answer that, it's my fault for being inpolite." Kreig's German accent began to rise in his voice, as it usually does when his emotions flare. He soon found himself to be in the same state as Sapphire, turning red and looking down.

Baeli laughed again. "Don't be sorry. There's really not much you can do to hurt my feelings or anything," she said, but, this time, she smiled with her lips closed. "And, to answer your question, no, not really. If I'm desperate, I'll find animals or something. But never humans. You don't have to worry about that." "Não seja parvo,"* a voice whispered evilly inside Baeli's head, and she chose to ignore it. The voice pressed on, though: "Naturalmente têm que preocupar-se sobre aquele. Bem, contanto que eu estiver aqui, isso é."* Baeli "spoke" back to the voice with her thoughts. "Eu estou tentando ter uma conversação em inglês aqui, e é duramente bastante sem você que rambling sobre no português."*
Ooc| * "Don't be silly," "Of course they have to worry about that. Well, as long as I'm here, that is." "Will you be quiet, Izabel? I'm trying to have a conversation in English here, and it's hard enough without you rambling on in Portuguese. Could you leave me alone for once?" Well, at least it is according to Babelfish sweatdrop
