More Meteor Showers Bring Even Stranger Powers. (O/A)

"I said I wouldn't use it for traveling anymore. First and last time I did that girl. I know how to use it like you did. But if I combine it with my Light Goddess, it's what I call it, I can create shadows. Just use the right angle and brightness of light and tadaaa." Liv replied." I just rather not use it. I mean maybe that thing decides to pop out through those shadows. Don't want to take that chance."

Trinity went to the side of the bed away from Liv. She rubbed her bare arms, sighed and said, "Well that's one way to end a legacy... give your power to someone who will never use it." she stood up and picked up her coat and looked at Liv she noticed Teshomaru nor Theonis were in the apartment. "Where are they? Where's Theonis? Where's Teshomaru?"

"It's not like you gave it..." Liv mumbled and got up.

"I don't know where they are. Maybe they are still in there or got out on their own. Your man cursed at you then commanded me to take you out of there. Does he always command you like that?" Liv asked.

"Gidget? GIDGET!" His heart felt as though it were tearing itself apart from her words and the rapid beat of his fear. Standing in that basement hallway, holding a piece of plastic to his ear to listen as his love took what may be her last breath, the man who could make and control one of the greatest natural forces felt suddenly powerless. He couldn't help her from where he was. It was thirteen years ago, all over. He couldn't go through that again. He couldn't lose her again. He wouldn't have the strength to run from the pain, it would consume him.

What brought his attention away from the phone, he would never know, but somehow, the words of the child standing down the hall cut through his fear to snare his attention. "It has found it's prey." Yeah, this kid was Stephen King creepy, but he seemed to know what was going on.

"Can you help me find her?" Ako found himself asking the boy, every rapid beat of his heart reminding him that Gidget's didn't have many left.

Damien looked up at the agitated adult and gleaned his mind enough to know the man's name.

"I can tell you where she is, Ako, and who is with her. The one you seek is in this facility's holding area. She is accompanied by several others, and the beast that is currently attempting to consume her energy as it was just a moment ago."

"Calm down, no wait-don't" Theonis gave up with a sigh after she had firmly attached herself to him. Whatever made her feel safer. He slowed down to an almost stop in mid-air

"I know I'm handsome and all but let's take it slow. Also I'm dating Trinity" Theonis said in his usual joking manner. With a quick looked around he found himself in the abandoned area where he was supposed to live after Tansy found him. They made their decent towards the roof of a building.

"I figured you'd prefer the solid ground and shadows. Try not to move too much. I'm not sure if I gave you a concussion or not." He said as he landed on the roof." Teshou is currently healing himself in the shadow realm. Just FYI."

Freya wiggled out of Theonis' grasp and waved one hand in front of her in a slow down motion while holding the other to where she took the pressure blow. "Slow down, Skippy. My head is pounding and I have never been able to take a lot of crazy information at once."

She looked around at her environment and took a moment to gather herself and assess her situation.

She returned her attention to Theonis and said, "Alright, I think I'm caught up. I only have two questions: where are we, and where is Trinity now?"

"Yeah you might have a concussion. Sorry bout that. Was the only way at the time." Theonis confessed leaning his left hand on his katana. Well...Trinity's katana.

"Somewhere in the slums. Valhalla isn't too far from here. Which is also where Trinity and Liv are at the moment. Assuming she brought her there like I told her."

"I don't know about the whole...demon and ancestor thing. Still think it's crazy but I've seen enough crazy in a short period of time to believe it. Can you still use the shadows without that demon? I'll just fly us to Valhalla if you can't"

The electrical being almost hoovered over her. The pitches of buzz changed to something higher. It's tendrils attached itself to the suit and slowly began to drain the power from it. However this connection went both ways. Strange fluxes of data were scrambled over the suits display. Right now, despite draining the suit, the being was also an external power source for it.

Gidget struggled to free herself from the the thing's grasp as it's tendrils wrapped around her. She couldn't make out what was being displayed in front of her, much less try to use it to get her out of this situation.

She couldn't hear anything that was happening outside of her situation and the deafening buzz that assaulted her ears. Her eardrums ruptured and began o bleed out from the harsh noise. She whimpered and teared up at the pain she felt all around her.

She could feel the pull with her power, yet at the same time she felt something of a push. The push stimulated her power. It was electrical in nature. She didn't know what exactly was happening, but now she knew there was something she could do.

Her fists curled and tightened as she bared her teeth and spoke to the thing trying to feed off of her. "I don't know what you are, but I don't take this kind of crap from electricity. Let. Me. GO!"

Gidget lashed out with her power and used her command ability. She figured she couldn't control the being, but maybe she could scare it into letting her go long enough for her to escape.

The places where the being attached itself to Gidget began to glow due to the heat. It continued to feed. Though it felt something.....odd strike it, the being did not stop because of that. It felt the earlier source of power that resisted it. It was coming this way. It slowed down it's draining process to a minimum but continued to remain attached to Gidgets metal shell. It could stay here and let it's previous meal come to it instead.

"Yeah you might have a concussion. Sorry bout that. Was the only way at the time." Theonis confessed leaning his left hand on his katana. Well...Trinity's katana.

"I'll be fine. I've taken harder hits than what you dished out. Shadow traveling isn't a problem for me. The wolf side of me maintains a pact. I just can't control the shadows anymore. We really shouldn't work on the assumption that Trinity and blondie made it to where they intended. If she really did drain Trinity's power, and attempted to shadow travel, then she may have been attacked by the denizens of the shadows. Unless she has a crazy huge set of lady balls, she probably ducked out of there faster than you can blink."

Gidget cursed under her breath. There was one thing left for her to try, but it was going to be very risky.

She willed the suit to engage the EMF generator that feeds off of her powers. With any luck the creature would be unable to penetrate the mass field of positives and negatives that electricity depends on. Hopefully it would buy her enough time for help to arrive.

The suit's trim glowed warmly as it brought up an electromagnetic field a few inches outside of Gidget's body.

"Wait wha? I never even seen one of those. Trinity never mentioned we could get mauled by whatever is down there. Guess I'll stick to flying." Theonis said a bit surprised. "I think she made it back. She can also travel through light like you do shadows. If I were her I'd take the path that's safe. One that won't try to attack me." Theonis explained before letting out a heavy sigh and face palming. So stupid that he didn't think of it.

He reached out and grabbed his cellphone and speed-dialed Trinity.
"Phones....what would we do without em eh?"

The bounds slowly severed as the field grew stronger. The creature let out a painful high pitched buzz that actually sounded a bit like a scream. Instinctively it moved back. Distanced itself from Gidget.

Damien looked up at the agitated adult and gleaned his mind enough to know the man's name.

"I can tell you where she is, Ako, and who is with her. The one you seek is in this facility's holding area. She is accompanied by several others, and the beast that is currently attempting to consume her energy as it was just a moment ago."

Ako didn't question how the kid knew his name. There was no time, and in a place were everyone had some sort of power, it wasn't even all that weird. He just uttered a quick "Thanks" as he took off at a dead sprint for the elevator. His need for urgency made him want to hit the stairs, and normally they would be faster, so long as he ran, but he had two sleeves full of tricks involving electricity. He'd proven he could power an elevator in a pinch, though it wore on the electronics. He was sure he could give it a bigger charge and speed it up, but it would likely leave the elevator at least temporarily out of service. That was a sacrifice he was all too willing to make if it got him to Gidget faster.

He was lucky to find the car he'd ridden down still waiting there, it's doors sliding open as his fist slammed into the call button. with a quick scan of his phone's map he found the floor that held security and the holding cells, and once more slammed his fist into the button. It was obviously designed for those with enhanced strength, otherwise the button might have popped right through the other side of the control panel. As the car started moving, Ako 'gently' knocked the car's roof access panel aside and hoisted himself on top. His previous method of supplying power to the car had left him safely inside the car, but it had been circuitous and hadn't let him push much power though it. Out here in the shaft, he could access the main power cable for this car and the others around it. He stepped over to the wall, careful of tripping hazards and all too aware of how stupid this was as he reached out to brush his fingers along the thick cable. Closing his eyes, he focused on the power. He could feel the cable's path up to the motor running the car from the top of the shaft, and he pumped as much power as he dared through his arm, up the cable, and into the motor. The steady hum that normally filled the shaft increased to a frantic whine, and the car lurched under his feet as it sped upward. This cable was skidding under his palm, and it was going to be raw and bleeding later, but all he could focus on was getting to Gidget in time.

"I'll be back Gidget I'll get help!" She called out "HELP WE NEED A WATER META QUICK!" She ran off taking her heels off in the process.

Deora was drawn away from Heather and Larry's little reunion when the lights started flickering. This didn't seem like the kind of place to have power outages, so that struck her as odd. She glanced at her phone to check for emergency messages, an alert, or something, she wasn't sure. Seeing nothing but her beach scene wallpaper, she looked back to the others. "I'm going to go see what's going on." she said as she started walking back to gym's front desk.

As she was about to as the man there if he knew anything about the lights, some woman came running by yelling for help and a water meta. Deora didn't think long enough to hesitate. "I'm a water meta." She called after the woman.

"Oh, Trinity has nothing to fear from those things. The denizens wont attack those with a pact, or anyone that travels with them. Blondie, however, doesn't have a pact. They don't take kindly to strangers."

"Oh, let me talk to her if she answers. She probably has a ton of questions and s**t."

Gidget turned and looked at the thing. Her display finally stopped going haywire and started getting a readout on the makeup of the creature. She took a few deep breaths and weakened the field a bit to conserve her power.

The display showed a lot of things, but she only needed to know one. It showed her that the thing in front of her wasn't Leviathan. She found her fear melt away.

She smirked at the thing and chuckled, "Heh, it looks like you don't like my EMF. Now, what the hell are you?"

The frequentie of the buzz became a lot lower like a growl. Bolts of electricity danced through the room, killing the lights. The darkness gave a good idea of what the being looked like. It did not have a set shape. It was just...currents of electricity freely flowing around at what seemed to be a center. It shot out another tendril towards Gidget. It knew that somehow it would not work but it was...curious.

Heather was stirred from her indignation by Deora's sudden declaration and exit. She looked around at the flickering lights and felt her animal instincts tick. "There they go again. I've got a bad feeling about what might be causing that."

Larry lumbered up to Mitch and looked down at him. "Are you gonna say that Miss Smith is doing this too?"
