The frequentie of the buzz became a lot lower like a growl. Bolts of electricity danced through the room, killing the lights. The darkness gave a good idea of what the being looked like. It did not have a set shape. It was just...currents of electricity freely flowing around at what seemed to be a center. It shot out another tendril towards Gidget. It knew that somehow it would not work but it was...curious.

Gidget focused the EM field into her right hand and slapped the tendril like one would the hand of a pervert. "Hey, hands off buddy!" she scolded.

She then glared at the creature's core and said, "You look like some brainless thing, but that's not the case is it? You are thinking right now; trying getting a read on me. You are alive in some way. I can feel that."

"But as curious as I am about you I am equally pissed. You attack my facility, my boyfriend, and then you tried to sap me. So you'd better think of some way to communicate and convince me not to end you."

A compartment in the suit's right leg opened and presented a small blade that looked a lot like a tanto. Gidget took it into her hand held it to her side.

"It's not like you gave it..." Liv mumbled and got up.

"I don't know where they are. Maybe they are still in there or got out on their own. Your man cursed at you then commanded me to take you out of there. Does he always command you like that?" Liv asked.

"It's not like you stole it either..." Trinity muttered in response.

She listened to her answer and frowned a little. "No he doesn't. Not that it is any of your business, Theonis and I have a good thing going. I just hope I didn't screw it up royally with that last maneuver I did causing me to lose my power and... lose my connection I have with my ancestry. I don't blame him for cursing at me, I wasn't thinking."

She put her coat back on then her phone rang. She picked up the phone and looked at it seeing it was Theonis, she wasn't sure if she was ready to face him now. The phone rang again. In the middle of the third ring she answered, she figured she had to face the music some time. "Hello Theonis? Where are you? Are you Teshoumaru and Freya safe?"

"Hey beautiful, we're fine. Teshou is resting in the shadows. Freya's here too and wants to talk to you. Hold on.." Theonis replied and gave the phone to Freya.

"Just don't tear her a new one in case you were going to do that." He said to Freya.

The being heard everything she said despite not having any visible ears. It retracted the tendril that attempted to make contact. It's yellow glow began to change into something more blueish. It created a magnetic field of it's own in response to Gidget's field. One that grew strong by the second.

"I'll be back Gidget I'll get help!" She called out "HELP WE NEED A WATER META QUICK!" She ran off taking her heels off in the process.

As she was about to ask the man there if he knew anything about the lights, some woman came running by yelling for help and a water meta. Deora didn't think long enough to hesitate. "I'm a water meta." She called after the woman.

"Great!" said the woman name Catherine, "There's not much time to explain. Gidget is in trouble and she needs your help." She lead Deora to where the creature, now blue was attacking Gidget in the cell.

Deora's eyes widened at the mention of Gidget in trouble, and hurried after the woman. As she ran, she dropped a hand to her hip to make sure the flask of water was still there. It wasn't much, but she thought it would be enough to hold her own in a fight, at least until she found a better solution. She wanted to ask the woman what exactly was going on, but the pace she kept left no room for conversation, and the air was soon filled with a loud buzz that would have made normal conversation difficult, anyway. Before she could question what it was, they passed through the doorway to see...something. Deora's All-Stars skidded on the concrete floor as she came to a quick stop. "AYE! What the hell is that thing!?" She asked before she could stop herself.

Freya sarcastically pouted and whined, "Awww, you ruined the surprise." In an instant she snatched the phone from his hand and blurted out, "Gimme that!"

She brought the phone up to her ear and barked, "Where the f**k are you?!"

Of the many differences between the shadow twins, their temperament was certainly the most apparent. Freya wasn't going to go easy on her student just because her boyfriend told her to.

Her eyes became hard as she flicked a switch on the blade's handle, activating it's UHF vibration function. She would have to act fast. Even a vibro-blade wouldn't be able to keep up with an EM field forever.

Just as she was about to lunge at the creature's center, her attention was brought away by Deora's outburst. Her's was on Gidget's list of the last people she expected to see or hear at that moment.

She turned her head to face Deora and shouted, "Get out of here! You aren't ready to fight something like this."

Trinity felt relieved to hear Theonis' charming voice she wanted to talk to him about how empty she feels without her power. She wanted to tell him how sorry she was that she wasn't thinking how it would effect the both of them. Trinity bit her lip as he told her that Freya wanted to talk to her. She took a deep breath and let out a sigh.

Freya literally growled as her ears folded back into an aggressive position. "Don't you sass me. I never asked you to get me out of there, and I am still furious about how you practically bowed your neck to me last week at the safe house. The f**k was that?! After all we taught you, you just give up? F**k that noise! If I ever catch wind that you died voluntarily and for no reason I will kill myself, find you in the afterlife, and kick your a** back to life!"

She took several heaving breaths as her ears calmed along with her. The whole time Freya was shouting at Trinity she had been fighting back tears. She huffed and sniffed, no longer able to hold back how worried she was.

"Are you okay?" she asked with genuine, loving, concern.

Theonis couldn't help but chuckle a little at Freya's onslaught of words. It was surprisingly refreshing to hear someone else say those things. He mainly kept it to himself but he too was going to have a word with her when he got back. Privately. But when he heard the change of tone in her words he walked to the edge of the rooftop to give her some privacy. His hands were in his pockets as he overlooked the place.

If there was one thing that could get Deora motivated, it was when someone told her she couldn't do something. The expression of surprise melted from her face, replaced by angry determination. Her fists clenched, the pool of water Catherine had spilled earlier started to ripple slightly and edge towards her, though she wasn't making any of the movements she usually needed to move water. She stood, unmoving, feet shoulder-width apart, as if daring any force in the world to try and move her. "I'm not going to leave you to fight this thing alone, I owe you. That lady said you needed a water meta, so tell me what I should do."

Someone spoke behind her, but he barely turned to look over to see the old man she'd met in the music store. She caught whiffs of smoke smell and burned rubber coming from him, and wondered what he'd been though before turning back to the electrical being before her, The man's words finally sunk in, and she looked to the five-gallon pool of water on the floor. Would it be enough?

Ako dropped back into the elevator car as his floor approached, and he was sprinting as soon as the doors slid open. In the shaft behind him, the elevator's motor ticked and pinged as it cooled off. It's controls were fried, but that was of no concern to the man running to save his love.

He could feel the Being as he approached, along with some strange frequencies that could only be Gidget and whatever tricks were hidden in her suit. As he ran into the room, however, he almost ran into someone he wasn't expecting; the girl he'd run into in the music store soon after he'd arrived in Valhalla. Come to think of it, some strange beast had gotten loose then, too. Now she was telling Gidget she was a water meta. This was too perfect.

"Get it wet." Ako told her. "It can't keep itself together in water, but it takes a lot."

The being's magnetic field grew stronger. Anything metal would definitely feel the pull towards it. It's gaze turned towards the newcomer followed by it's old potential meal. Then without warning it fired at the three people.

Freya literally growled as her ears folded back into an aggressive position. "Don't you sass me. She took several heaving breaths as her ears calmed along with her. The whole time Freya was shouting at Trinity she had been fighting back tears. She huffed and sniffed, no longer able to hold back how worried she was.

"Are you okay?" she asked with genuine, loving, concern.

Trinity clenched her fist and grit her teeth and Freya went on about the events that happened two weeks ago now. The more she went on it felt like all her efforts were simply unnecessary and she lost her power for nothing. On another day she might have laughed about how Freya would her 'kick her a** back to life'. This was the last thing she wanted to hear, hear how she failed in every way and as a result lost, as far a she knows, her connection to her ancestor and her power. Then she posed her question with concern. "Oh so now you want to know if the failure is okay... here's my answer!" she hung up on Freya and left her phone behind and walked out the door.

I'm tired of everyone depending on me and feel they can just walk all over without consequences. Good luck on following up on the phone call Freya since Chuck has already taken the precautions to prevent shadow manipulators to pop in wherever. The thought of Chuck made her pull the hood over her head, now knowing he was with Daedalus, she didn't want him to know that she was here. Not yet at least. She wasn't sure what she was going to do next but she knew she wasn't of use to anyone here as she currently is. Better to take one of Valhalla's motorcycles and ride off into the sunset.
