Nova Blancke Theo hoovered back to Freya when she called for him.
"Thanks" He said as he accepted his phone.
"Well it certainly isn't because of me if that's what you're implying. I honestly don't know. I don't know what happened at the warehouse when she first fought you. I only arrived later but she said she was losing her edge." Theonis told Freya." Then there was Gidget regaining her body again but chose to alter her memories so they don't match with Trinity's anymore. Now she thinks Gidget forgot all about her or something crazy like that. Followed by her losing both the position as head of Valhalla and of Security plus the fact that the new guy now branded her a traitor. Then there is that whole ancestor crap combined with her taking your demon and losing her own power. I'd say she had it rough. I haven't really had time to talk to her about it."
"But I will talk to her about it. Because right now I need to be there for her. So until she is ready to talk to you about it....you hold your tongue. Got it? Because I think it doesn't matter what you say to her right now. It's only gonna make things worse. Also there won't be many places to chose from in Valhalla since the new guy made sure it was hard to access through the shadows."
Freya's eyes went wide and she craned her head around while saying, "Hold. My. Tongue?! Oh Heeeeeeell to the f**k no."
She then walked up to a few inches away from him and looked up. "Let's get some thing clear. Slick: A. I wasn't inferring s**t. You've been with her, in who knows what capacity, for the last few weeks. I've missed out on some s**t due to being dangled like a f**king puppet because of being born part wolf."
"B. My brother and I know Trinity better than almost anyone. We were there when she was scared of herself. We were there for her when her mother died. We spent the better part of a decade in that negative wasteland called the shadow realm. So I think I know when to back the f**k off and give her space when she needs it."
"C..." At this point the fur on her ears calmed, as did some of the tension in her body. "C. I tend to let my mouth move ahead of my brain. It's a bad habit, but one that Trinity is aware of. I'll apologize to her the first chance I get. It wont be the first time, and probably not the last."
She took a few steps back and took a deep breath. "You seem like a descent enough guy. If Trinity trusts you, than so do I. But if you eeeever tell me what to do like that again I will knock you sideways. Got it?" She said the last bit with the same tone and look that Theonis had given her.
After her lengthy browbeating she took a moment to assess the situation. After a few seconds she sighed with some frustration and admitted. "I can't get us into Valhalla. At least, not as I am now."
"I'm about to let my wolf side have control. Don't worry, she's like a big puppy. She can do things with shadows traveling that I can't. She can't reverse the change herself, so I'm trusting you to take care of her. If she gets critically injured, she can't repair her wounds in the shadow realm like my brother and I can."
She held her hand out to Theonis and asked, "We good?"

Nova Blancke Theo was rather surprised by Freya's reaction. Maybe Trinity got copied some of that. He didn't back off or anything but he was...pleasantly surprised.
"Feisty one aren't ya? I kinda like it. If Trin could be a little more like that...." He chuckled. " Yea, we're good."
"Wait, how am I supposed to get her to reverse herself? Also, I can still fly us there. May not be as fast as shadow traveling but still...we are close to Valhalla. Plus I can go at least Mach 1."
The fur on Freya's ears and tail frizzled up at the mention of flight. "Eh heh...that's not gonna happen. I don't do flying. Besides, we need to get as deep into Valhalla as quickly as possible. We may meet resistance if we go in any other way."
"As far as getting Okami to change back, you can't. The transformation will revert in two hours all on it's own. I'm just letting you know what her limitations are."
"Okay, here I go. Oh! I almost forgot. She's a hugger, so...be ready for that."
Freya took a few steps back and folded her hand together in the zen position. She closed her eyes and concentrated on becoming the wolf within. It didn't take long for visible ki to begin wrapping itself around her in a sphere, starting from her feet. It cocooned her and spun quickly for a few seconds before bursting. In Freya's place was a she-wolf with human hair.
Okami opened her eyes and yawned, displaying her long tongue and sharp teeth. She looked up at the sky and noticed that it wasn't a new moon night. She whined and audibly muttered, "Crap...she's gonna want me to do dangerous stuff I bet."
Her dark nose twitched as she sniffed out the person in front of her. Previously oblivious to his presence she looked at him and titled her head curiously. "Who're you?" she asked, "You have Trinity's smell on you."

Nova Blancke The being's magnetic field grew stronger. Anything metal would definitely feel the pull towards it. It's gaze turned towards the newcomer followed by it's old potential meal. Then without warning it fired at the three people.
Deora could feel the metal flask at her hip pulling itself towards the creature as she undid the cap, and was further surprised to feel even the metal eyelets on her shoes tugging towards it. She was suddenly glad she didn't have any piercings. Just as the thought formed in her head to wonder what the being was doing to get this effect, she noticed Ako stepping forward. She though maybe he had more metal on him, and was being pulled more strongly, but when the being fired an attack at the trio and Ako's arm shot as if to catch it, it all fell into place. He shared the thing's power, he could sense it's attacks. She was suddenly confident that this man would keep her from being electrocuted, and her confidence doubled.
Her head lowered, her face set in determination, Deora slowly raised her hands from hip level to shoulder height in front of her, palms up. Her eyes followed the movement, revealing her icy blue glare. While her power was normally not much to brag about, the adrenaline of a life-threatening situation is what really set it off.
As her arms rose straight out in front of her, anything and everything with water in it felt the rising movement. The few ounces in her flask seemed to levitate of it's own volition before moving to join the rising puddle from Catherine's failed attempt. The result was about five gallons of water floating in the center of room, lazily collecting wisps of liquids from elsewhere in the area; a stream from a guard's forgotten cup on a desk, even a few trickles through the ceiling tiles from condensation on pipes. Her look of determination twitched to a bit of a smirking grin and she pulled her hands back, then pushed them forward and up, and though she were tossing a weighted ball. The orb of water jiggled and soared lazily through the air, spreading out to splash heavily on the electrical being. The whole scene took about a second, but her adrenaline drew it out so each detail stood out.

Rikki Tikki Travi Gidget was happy to see that Ako was okay, and that he had something of a plan to deal with the creature. She was even happier when her power picked up on the sudden fluctuation in the creature's magnetic field. The tug on her turned her attention back towards it just in time for her own EM field to match the creature's lightning and absorb it.
Ako more than felt the electrical draw the being caused, he could almost see it, it was so strong. He could almost make out the tendrils of energy pulling at the metal in the room; the knife and keys in his pocket, the zipper of his jacket, and he knew what was coming. He could see it play out in his mind. Even if it wasn't aiming at the water girl, she would be the worst affected. Ako and Gidget knew how to deal with electricity, but this girl was apparently inexperienced, and worse, her power made her a natural conductor. Without further thought, Ako moved to step in front of her, intent to catch whatever bolt was meant for her.
His relief was hesitant when Gidget caught the bolt instead. He didn't have to protect the water girl, but the one he'd come to protect took the blast full on. He was about to run for her, but instead of scorching her armored suit, the bolt seemed to absorb into it. Knowing Gidget's foresight, he wondered if she'd come up with a system to manipulate electricity as he could. He could sense all kinds of strange fluctuations coming from the suit, masking any kind of life signs he should have been able to pick up. Not knowing if she were alive in there or not, but hesitant to leave his new charge unguarded, he started to call out, but a pull from deep within and all throughout his body made him pause and look towards the pull, to the forming orb of water in the middle of the room. He stood, transfixed as the water girl moved, and the orb flew through the air, spreading out like a net meant to ensnare the electrical being.
