Rikki Tikki Travi Gidget barely got her hand up and made the first utterance of a profane word before the creature made it's hasty escape. She tightened the grip on her blade out of frustration before returning it to the holster from whence it came. She powered down the EM field and turned to see if everyone else was okay.
Seeing that both Ako and Deora were standing made her day. She rushed to Ako and embraced him. "I was so scared." she whispered.
Ako felt a growing sense of anger and frustration as the being made it's escape, but all was forgotten the moment Gidget wrapped her arms around him. He returned the gesture, though it felt a bit pointless as he tried to squeeze the suit around her.
Awkwardness aside, her whispered words stopped him. They were so quiet, he couldn't doubt their sincerity. He remembered her terrified voice on the phone, the reason he'd burned out an elevator to hurry here, but when he'd arrived she seemed to have everything under control. The whole time he'd been here with her, she'd seemed in control, and he wondered how this had rattled her. For now, he just squeezed tighter, regardless of the suit, and whispered, "You're okay. It's gone for now."
He could feel the being retreating, but knew it wouldn't be long before it attacked again. |

Nova Blancke Seeing the impending danger the creature bolted upwards into the lights. Into the system again. The attack may have only taken a second but it could be faster than that. It dispersed...for the moment. But it would strike again when it could.
Deora cursed loudly and creatively in her native tongue as the water splashed harmlessly to the floor the being had occupied moments before. She cursed it's nonexistent mother and father, it's sexuality, and compared it to a few choice animals before throwing a hand and forcefully splashing the water against a wall and releasing her grip on it. She dropped her fists to her and and paced a bit breathing heavily before she could get a grip on her anger. Then, remembering how her mother had stayed so calm, she took a long, deep breath in, held it, and slowly let it out. She then calmly picked up a small portion of the water and floated it back into the flask at her hip. She was still angry that the thing had gotten away, but at least now she wasn't explosively so.
She looked to the other two in the room; Ms. Gidget and the man she'd run into earlier. It seemed they were an item, or other wise very close. The scene made her feel awkward, the girl who couldn't help, and now had no one to turn to. She thought of saying something, maybe asking if Ms. Gidget was okay, or thanking the man for protecting her when the thing attacked, but she decided it was better to step quietly out of the room. She gave them their private space, waiting quietly out in the hall to ask if she could offer any more help. |

Rikki Tikki Travi Alec blushed a bit at her fairly blunt, and correct, assumption that he would use his power. He took a deep breath and tried to calm himself so that his power wouldn't get away from him.
"Ummm...I had always thought of going to a movie, and then maybe some ice cream after that."
Kerana "That sounds great!" she couldn't restrain herself she hugged him tight and when. She opened her eyes they found themselves in a dark theater. She looked over to see what kind of movie Alec had in mind that they'd see.
Rikki Tikki Travi Alec looked around at his surroundings with some confusion. It then occurred to him that this moment was like a lucid dream. That meant that he was supposed to decide what movie was going to be on the screen.
This caused a mental knee jerk reaction. He didn't like being put on the spot like this, and most of the movies he watched were the type that were watched alone. He remembered the scene from Ghost Busters where their thoughts would manifest into their destruction only to become a giant marshmallow mascot.
The screen lit up and the scene in question faded onto the screen. There were Ernie Hudson, Harold Ramis, and Bill Murray asking Dan Akroyd, "Ray, what did you do?"
Kerana giggled as the stain puffed marshmallow man appeared. "He's so puffy I'm gonna die!" she said as a joke. She placed her head on his shoulder, "How did you know it was one of my favorites?" The movie progressed as Egon came up with the idea to "Cross the streams"

Rikki Tikki Travi Heather was stirred from her indignation by Deora's sudden declaration and exit. She looked around at the flickering lights and felt her animal instincts tick. "There they go again. I've got a bad feeling about what might be causing that."Larry lumbered up to Mitch and looked down at him. "Are you gonna say that Miss Smith is doing this too?"
Mitch had mixed feelings on the matter of Trinity being a traitor, yet there was enough evidence that agreed with what Chuck has said. "I don't just blame stuff on Miss Smith but I also won't rule her out as a possibility. I've seen first hand of what she's capable of on the field. When someone leaves with being 'emotionally compromised' anything is possible. Unfortunately as much I don't want to believe it, but that video was evidence enough for me." |

Nova Blancke Shadows slowly slithered towards Trinity from behind. Slow but steady, As she passed new objects those shadows would also follow her.
Although Trinity tried to comfort herself with other possibilities she still had the nagging feeling that she was being followed. She tried looking at the corner of her eyes but there was nothing there. If she had her power she could have detected other shadows, including the ones that are currently following her. She let out a deep breath and held the hilt of the retracted glaive tight. |

Alec could only chuckle nervously. He had no idea it was one of her favorite movies. It just happened. Like a dream he wished would never end.
He took a moment to enjoy her head on his shoulder before his damn logic took over.
"This isn't right." he whispered.
His head dipped and dropped his long hair along both sides of his face, covering it once again. It was too perfect, everything happening the way he had always wanted it to. He may not have all the knowledge of the mental world around him, but he knew this was dangerous.
He rubbed his eyes as the tears began to develop. "We need to stop." he said a little louder now.

Heather refused to believe this. When she was reptilian, she could sense the nature of a person after being around them for a bit. Trinity wasn't a traitor. She had never met Chuck, so she had no real way of knowing about him.
"We don't know the details of her side. All we know is what came from that message you talked about, and what that Chuck guy says happened."
"Look, all I'm really concerned about is the Matron house kids. We had an arrangement with Trinity and Gidget because we trusted them. If this kind of danger is what happens when Chuck Richards is in charge I need to rethink our staying here. That is, unless I get Chuck's personal word that we will be safe here."
Larry could only nod in agreement with his big sister. What she said sounded good to him, and to that day she had yet to steer him wrong.
Her wings twitched as she made her last point, "Not to mention that his personal staff hurt my little brother and good friend. I need to talk to Chuck Richards...now." |
