More Meteor Showers Bring Even Stranger Powers. (O/A)

"Mostly this. I was starting to feel very warm, and so I figured this would be the best way to cool off. Plus, we haven't talked in a few days. I thought this would be a good reason to come and say hi."

She started to inhale through her mouth when she felt the (now) familiar tickle of mixing gasses in her throat. She quickly clamped her mouth down and held up a finger to let Sara know that she needed just a second.

She craned her head up and let out a small, but steady, burst of flame. After it was done she coughed and bashfully said, "Sorry about that. I'm still not quite used to being able to do that."

"He's doing much better! The kid that saved me fixed Larry's head. He doesn't speak in one word sentences anymore. Granted, he's still a ten year old in a giant's body, but he doesn't have to worry about thinking too much and getting a headache."

Heather didn't want to focus too much on herself, though. "But enough about me, how are you holding up with all this weird stuff going on today?"

Heather gawked at her aquatic friend with disbelief. "Are you for real?! Do you guys not get bulletins down here?"

She proceeded to fill Sara in on the days events accorded to Heather: Ms. Morris stepping down as headmaster, Ms. Smith then stepping down and subsequently being accused of betrayal, and then the strange figure that would appear when the lights flickered.

"It's been chaos up there."

"Yeah, sure come on in." Liv said with a frown to Trinity. She folded her arms beneath her breasts.Which now showed a good amount.
"So what brings you here handsome?" She asked Theo, not breaking eye contact

His eyes immediately fell on her chest. He couldn't help it! They were just...there! Man, this is dangerous....if I didn't have Trin...
But..he could use this to his advantage. he hoped.
"Well, I need your help. There is a shadow monster in Valhalla right now and it is pretty much attacking everything around him. Now I know you can use the shadows as well so it might come for you next since it first aimed for Trinity. And you have her powers"

Trinity glared at Liv, How dare she try such flirtation with my man in front of me! I may not have my power but I'm still here.

"I'm still here y'know? If you're trying to take my man away from me, it works better when I'm not here!
I wouldn't shrug off the shadow creature Okami/Freya, my sensei, is currently out there barely fending it off.

On top of the shadow creature Gidget is in the Medbay. Thus why my phone was going off. I wasn't planning on seeing her any time soon but this changes things." She sighed as she got up and head back to the door and spoke to Theonis in a hushed tone. "You going to be okay if I leave you here with her?"

Wait, Gidget is in the medbay? How the hell did that happen?

He nodded to Trinity." Yeah, I'll be fine. Go to her. I think she needs you more than anything right now."

Liv waited for Trinity to leave. She was right. It would be better without her. Liv traced a finger up from his chest to his chin." I could help you but it'll cost ya." She said with a sultry voice. There was no way he would refuse her, even if he had a girl already.

Theo took a deep breath. This was so unfair. Not to mention unreasonable Trinity already exploded when he joked about a threesome. If he were to tell her these conditions.....no telling what she'd do..

Meanwhile the Shadow Creature had gotten bored after it had whipped Freya a few times. There was no reaction for her. It felt....bored. Sinking into the shadows once more it searched out it's initial meal.

"Yah, no kidding..." she took a moment to let it all sink in. "Gidget stepping down? Then Trinity? Wow, I thought I'd never see the day. It was thanks to her and Gidget that a lot of us were able to make it here. I can't help but wonder why it all suddenly happened?

Who does that guy think he is trying to portray Trinity as a traitor? Though.. I guess in some aspect it would explain leaving all of the sudden... yet it's rather hard to believe. I'm sure there's got to be a better reason.

Strange figure? Who knows? Another Meta-Human?"

Heather could only sigh and shake her head. "I don't know if it was. What I do know is that it felt wrong, unnatural. I don't know if you experience the same type of animal instincts that I do, but they were going nuts in that thing's presence."

Almost as if waiting for that sentence, her scales tightened and caused a chill to go up her spine. Her eyes widened, and her pupils shrunk into reptilian slits. For a split second, it felt like there was something else in the pool with them.

Cautiously, she asked Sara, "Did you feel that? We're the only two people in this pool, right?"

Reality faded in and out for Gidget. She could make out that there were a lot of people hovering over her. They were dressed in pastel blues and greens. For a moment she thought she could see a pair of fox ears through a window. There was a steady ache in her right arm.

She tilted her head to one side and saw an unconscious Deora. Another tilt brought the barely living Ako into her view. Tears began to pool in her eyes. Everything had gone so wrong. It was like thirteen years ago, but now she was alive. She was alive, and the people she loved were hurt.

If anyone were to ask now, she couldn't say if she thought the question, or asked it aloud while being unheard among the chaos. All she knew was that there was only one person she felt could even start to fix things.

"Trinity...where are you?"

Trinity, knew of the secret tunnels in case of emergencies. Having the positions of Head of Security and the Head of Valhalla taken by an agent of Daedalous and being considered a traitor should be reason enough.

There wasn't anything powered or electric about the entrance since the thought of an EMP may be an issue and odds are pretty high there wouldn't be any power. This came in handy for the previous Head of Security, he didn't have a teleporting like she does, or more like she did. Her predecessor died in combat which lead to her applying for the position. The doors to these secret passages, though it wasn't protected with a pass code all she had to know was how to open it using the complex mechanism in place. As far as she knows only Gidget and her knew how to open the doors. At one point she had considered showing Chuck since he would take over on her sick days, Gidget advised against it and said to leave that up to her to do, she didn't press the matter further. She was kind of relieved that she didn't tell Chuck, but she wasn't sure if Gidget did, but odds are she didn't considering she thought he seemed suspicious.

She rushed down the secret halls that would take her to the Medbay.

Trinity didn't like having to leave Theonis with her. Even she thought she was beautiful and she is straight. Though despite that there had been on and off rumors in about her and Gidget that would say other wise. Yet with all the relationships she had with guys those rumors were dismissed. Gidget, over the years, had become more than a friend, her best friend, at times even more than that her sister. She had to be there at her time of need.

She enter the halls of the Medbay and saw the fox girl. She was willing to bet that she was hear for Gidget. She got her attention be placing her hand on her shoulder. The fox girl looked up seeing the face under the hood. She wanted to squee with excitement and tell her how glad she was to see her. But one small action had her suppress that excitement. Trinity held her finger to her lips. "What happened to Gidget?"

The fox girl explained she had no idea what happened. That basically, what she could make out from looking through the small window was that Deora, Gidget and Ako were in there. It looked like the doctors were done with what they can do for now and when Kerana looked up Trinity was gone. Trinity made her way into the lady's bathroom and when the commotion died down, she peeked out. It looked like Kerana was allowed in because Deora is her room mate. Once the last doctor left she went to the room. She found the fox girl hugging Gidget. Her eyes widened as she noticed something happened to Gidget's hand. At the moment she couldn't remember which hand was the mechanical one Daedalous had given her. "Gidget what happened?" She said with concern in her voice as she drew near she was overwhelmed with concern that she didn't notice her hood came off revealing her face.

Gidget's right arm had been cleaned and surgically amputated mid humerus. There was a bandage covering a sad looking stump. The healers were able to do enough to forego the need for drainage tubes, so it just lay still on a folded blanket.

She stirred slightly when Kerana hugged her, but it was Trinity's voice that forced her to bring her mind out of it's painkiller induced slumber.

Her vision was blurred at first, but she was able to make out that familiar head of hair. Her adjusting peripherals made out the reddish blob that was hugging her as Kerana.

"dget....at pnd

"Huh?" she muttered. Everything around her was muffled. She was pretty sure Trinity had just asked her something. Probably what had happened. The repeated question confirmed it.

She was conscious, but slightly confused. Only bits and pieces of recent memory were available to her, so she worked with what she had.

"Richards. Brig. 'lectric monster. 'Splosion. Think thr'was a shell."

She attempted to move her right arm to reach out to her friends. Her foggy mind could make out the feeling of dull pain and discomfort, but still hadn't processed the loss of most of her arm. She grimaced and moaned, "Ow"

The being was now completely comprised of the water inside of the pool. It felt two Meta's 'inside' of it. But unlike it's siblings, this creature did not feel the urge to feed on their origin. Water was plenty. It could feel the entire network of pipes, just flowing with water.

A female gelatinous shape formed besides the two. It was hard to tell due to the transparency but it resembled Annie.It's origin.

"Gah!" exclaimed Heather. She knew she felt another presence in the pool with them, but this was definitely not what she was expecting. It looked like a person, but it was made from the very water they were swimming in.

On top of that, the shape of the fluid sort of resembled someone that Heather recognized. The sudden appearance of the creature caused the name to escape her mind, but she remembered that it was the mother of that weird kid that Lawrence had been hanging out with the last week.

While she still felt a sense of unease, there was no sense of danger.

Dumbfounded, she could only manage an awkward, "H-hello?"
