More Meteor Showers Bring Even Stranger Powers. (O/A)

"Yeah sounds like a plan. I wouldn't be surprised if I'm also a traitor by now." Theo said to Larry as he walked towards the hole and gave him a pat on the leg. Before jumping in he looked over his shoulder. "I got it from here Kerana. Thanks for letting me know." Theo said with a smile as he thanked her.

Larry nodded to Kerana and carefully made his way around the hole he had just made. When he stuck his head out of the doorway into the medical foyer, he was met with more faces than he was expecting.

Instead of the usual bustle of medical staff, he was face to face with a platoon of Valhalla security arched around him and blocking any way out without going through them forcibly.

Despite his size he didn't like so many people glaring at him at once. His 10 year old mind knew he was in deeeeep trouble.

Unfortunately at the bottom of the tunnel was empty. All that remains was the flyer of the upcoming event between Trinity and Chuck. It's half an hour before show time.

Trinity...

Trinity rubbed her head. Around the same time Gidget heard the second heartbeat she herd a whisper of a voice in her head. It sounded like the demon she had in her body earlier. But that couldn't be could it?... That demon was taken by Liv along with her power right? She didn't want to trouble Gidget with a voice in her head, it could be possible that she too may be hearing things.

A guard came by and gave Gidget some clothes. "Gidget, these clothes are for you, please put them on. Trinity come with me." His hand went through the bars and he took Trinity out. Trinity went with him, "Hang in there Gidget…we'll figure this out somehow…" she said the latter with a wink.

The arrival of the guard had put a damper in Gidget's escape plan. She waited on getting dressed until the guard and Trinity had left her line of site. The clothes were a set of sweatpants and shirt with the logo of the above university.

She was grateful for that, at least. She was half thinking that they would give her something with buttons. Not exactly the easiest thing for someone with one hand to put on.

She wiggled into the sweatsuit and tossed aside the hospital gown. Knowing that without some way to directly touch the control panel for the cell, or remotely command it to open with a phone, she walked over to the bench and laid down.

There was nothing for her to do now but wait, worry about Ako, and mull over how she was going to counter this move from Daedalus.

Theo looked around him but saw nothing. Besides the flyer. He did shout her name as he banged on the wall. He did so one more time but this time causing a shockwave to travel through the tunnel.

With a sigh, he flew up again, reading the flyer. " Really? Fight of the century? Trinity vs Chuck? I think I am gonna beat the s**t out of him before that...." Theo mumbled to himself.

The creature shook it's head again. Why would it require a name? It simply was. There was no need for an identification. It mimicked the winged one's gesture by forming an arm with a hand. This time much smaller to match Heather.

As he looked up he could see Kerana fall. He caught her with his power making her just float there as they moved upwards. She had full control of how she would float. He wasn't going to let think he was after another panty shot as she thought when they first met. Who does that anyway?

"Guess I was a little too late. Nothing's there. But thanks for checking up on me." Theo said as a bit of a joke.

"Just stay with her. Call it far-fetched but maybe put a glass of water near her or anything with water. Hell maybe even pour a little on her arm or something. From what I learned this week, is that this power of ours...is deep. Maybe if she feels water she'll snap out of it. It's just a theory at this point." Theo said trying to come up with a way to help her.

From what he knew of Ako, he actually could help him. But it'd be dangerous for Ako if he was wrong. Maybe as a last resort. A jumpstart for him.

He saw Larry not moving. It wasn't just standing still but he was just not moving. Like he froze up. When he peeked through the small gaps that Larry's size allowed he saw the security force. s**t, well time to try and bail him out. Before he started he gave Larry an elbow on the leg to let him know.

"Goddamnit Larry, I told you to be careful! You can't just move a bed when it's attached to the freaking ground! Look what you did man! How the hell am I gonna tell Gidget this?! Or whoever is in charge these days." He said sounding angry but he was hoping Larry caught on quick enough.

In the darkness of Deora's mind, she felt a familiar presence. The little fox was back. It touched her hand, and she felt that it wanted her to follow. Follow she did, and she felt herself getting closer to home, but soon the little fox was gone again. Deora began to worry, but didn't lose her way again. Soon enough the fax was with her again, and together they made the way back home.

Deora's eyebrow furrowed for a moment when Kerana touched her hand and left, but with a clenching of her fists, the furrows were gone. Her eyelids flickered when Kerana took her hand again, and her fists relaxed. Her breathing calmed, her vital signs strengthened. After a minute, she took a deep intake of breath.

She was home.

Deora's eyelids finally flickered open, her brilliant blue eyes blinking back to life. Her hand squeezed Kerana's, and she looked over to the fox-eared girl with a hint of a smile struggling to her lips. "Thank you." She said weakly.

Ako's eyes were trying to open soon after all the commotion started, but he couldn't find the strength to move anything else. He bided his time for a few minutes, just until he had enough strength to roll his head over to see Gidget's bed. He had to be sure she was okay.

The sight of a hole in the floor where he guessed her bed should be sent his heart rate climbing, the lines of the EKG quietly getting sharper and sharper. Despite his fatigue, he felt the power within him building, recharging. He was completely drained of electricity. It should have taken days for his body to naturally recharge, but seeing the empty place where Gidget should be sent whatever mutated part of his body that created electricity into overdrive. The machines hooked to Ako, measuring his vital signs, started to dim as his body took in their power as well. Whatever warning the EKG was about to give was strangled as the electricity traveling down it's cord from the wall bypassed all of it's internal circuitry to flow straight into it's patient.

Ako's fists and jaw clenched, his eyes closed for a long blink. When they opened, there was a new light. Weak as his muscles still were, He moved to sit up. The bed wasn't moving, he knew it wouldn't while he was draining it, so he didn't bother trying. He would rather use it's power for himself, instead of waiting on a powered bed to lift him up. One arm, trailing wires hooked to machines, lifted the blanket off of him. Without taking the time to appreciate the fact that he'd been dressed in scrubs instead of a breezy hospital gown, he swung his legs off the side of the bed. Taking a firm grip on the bed railing, he stood up. Shakily at first, but with more strength as his power boosted the muscles in his legs, he stepped closer to the hole. He knew he wasn't in any shape to go after her, but he had to look for himself.

Damien approached the end of the pool. Using his psychokinetic power, he gingerly stepped onto the surface of the water and began to walk toward the creature. He could feel it's presence beneath him. It had no central mind. It existed for the sake of existence. At least, that's what he had thought. There was always the chance of being wrong.

He looked at the creature's "eyes" and said, "I was also born without a name. I believe we come from the same being. There were three others as well. Two other constructs, and an aspect like myself. One of the constructs is dead. The other lies somewhere beyond."

"Like you, they lacked an id. But you're different. You do not seek subsistence the way they do. I know you can't speak, but I would like very much to know what it is that drives you."

Larry's head almost hit the ceiling when Theonis jabbed him. He looked down at the adult, futilely trying to make himself smaller. He was confused by Theonis' words. Wasn't he the one who told Larry it was okay to rip a hole in the floor?

Not knowing what else to do, Larry fiddled with his hands and looked down at his feet in shame. This was a bad day.
