More Meteor Showers Bring Even Stranger Powers. (O/A)

Trinity thought she heard Theonis' voice but dismissed it. He'd be a lot happier with Liv than he is with me right now. Man, I'm so selfish… I'm even keeping this 'death' a secret from him just to make it all the more convincing. I'm sorry Theo, but this has to be done for Valhalla and after things take their place, depending on where we will be… you'll do what you'll do and I'll do what I'll do. This may save Valhalla... but at what cost? Our relationship? Well, it was good while it lasted…. The walk down the hall seemed like a long one. The guards took note that she was not making things difficult but were grateful for that.

They were backstage of where the big fight will take place. It was designed to look like the battle ground of the colosseum with a few modern twists. Gidget was taken to her private booth to ensure that she oversees the event. The pre-show was starting with some emphasis on how Chuck saved someone from Trinity's attack from earlier. More propaganda to make him look like the hero and her look like the trader. The TVs all over Valhalla were all turned on and only had this fight on the screen. This included the tv in the room Deora and Ako were recovering in.

The guards looked at one another as the pre-show started. "Alright, we'll let you go this time but keep a closer eye on him." Shortly the troops left to go to see the event live.

Gidget was "helped" into her seat by a guard. After she plopped down she huffed, "Y'know I sign your paycheck, right? Seriously, what's gotten into you guys?"

Not waiting for a response she turned to face the propaganda spewing monitors. Gidget could only shake her head in denial. Sure, she had been asleep for a bit that day, but there was no way Trinity would do any of these things. Especially not attack Okami with a shadow power she didn't have.

Gidget's eyes narrowed as more pieces began to fall into place in her mind. The list of people who could doctor an image this well and in such a short amount of time was short. All she needed was a few more parts of the puzzle and she could find out where the breaches in their security and loyalties were.

Theo turned to the TV. He saw Trinity being escorted to what seemed the be the center of a ring.

"Goddamnit..She doesn't HAVE her powers anymore!" Theo cursed. He turned back to the guards who he tried to calm by faking a scene. That got thrown out of the window the moment he saw Trinity. They may have dated for only a week and she didn't need protection before but now....

"Where is that place?" He growled to the guards in a dangerously low tone." Where is she?!"" His knuckles turned white as he made a fist. They were going to talk. They were going to say where she is even if he had to break every single bone in their bodies. He would get them to talk.

Damien approached the end of the pool. Using his psychokinetic power, he gingerly stepped onto the surface of the water and began to walk toward the creature. He could feel it's presence beneath him. It had no central mind. It existed for the sake of existence. At least, that's what he had thought. There was always the chance of being wrong.

He looked at the creature's "eyes" and said, "I was also born without a name. I believe we come from the same being. There were three others as well. Two other constructs, and an aspect like myself. One of the constructs is dead. The other lies somewhere beyond."

"Like you, they lacked an id. But you're different. You do not seek subsistence the way they do. I know you can't speak, but I would like very much to know what it is that drives you."

The creature continued to construct it's humanoid form. It now had a torso, two arms and a head. It remained the spitting image of Annie. It's origin. It's flesh kin asked more...questions? It wanted information. It tried to imitate human emotions such as confusion for it simply did not know what the other meant.

Cassandra didn't like this at all. Damian got away from her by walking on the water. She couldn't follow him. She couldn't protect him like this! Swimming after him wasn't an option. Simply because she never learned how to swim. Instead she circled around the pool. Keeping a close eye on both. Her eyes kept scanning the water for strange occurrences as well.

The idiots didn't even know!

"I was there when it happened! And i'm not even in that video! Goddamnit are all of you mindless drones?! Do you really think Trinity would even do that?! Use your heads for a change! Chuck raises to power and the next second Trinity is wanted for treason? The proof isn't even real! Gidget gets critically injured. Are things starting to make sense yet?!" Theo almost shouted in anger at the incompetence of theirs guards. The gold in his eyes actually did glow. He managed to pick up what Kerana muttered.

"Don't worry, I'll get her back."

Deora was about to answer Kerana, to ask her for a glass of water, when the television distracted them all. Confusion filled her freshly-woken mind as she watched Trinity being escorted into some sort of fighting ring. As she was about to ask Kerana what was going on, Theo's statement stopped her.

"Wait... She doesn't have her powers, and she's going to fight? Kerana, what's going on? How long was I out? What even happened?" Deora asked, her voice rough and dry, the reason she was going to ask for water.

The TV distracted Ako, as well, pulling his attention away from the hole in the floor. The sight of Trinity getting ready to fight didn't affect him as much as it did the others, he hadn't been that close to the woman, but he did realize how close she was to Gidget. Where Trinity was, maybe Gidget wasn't far away.

Theonis seemed to have a pretty good idea of what was going on, and he seemed to have a plan with his confident final statement. Still a bit dazed, Ako made his way over to Theonis, his fists balled tightly at his sides. He didn't like the guy, but he was all too willing to put that dislike aside if he could get Gidget back. "I'm going to help you. Then you're going to help me get Gidget."

The idiots didn't even know!

"We're soldiers, we follow orders and if we're are ordered to believe that crap we don't question it. Do you know how many things that guy has going on? Like literally 10 million things and that may not be an exaggeration.

We barely found out that she was in custody in the first place. Only about an hour ago did these flyers appear all over Valhalla. He wants people to come and see so getting you guys there will not be a problem but beyond that, you're on your own, we don't have any special access.

He knows... damn it he knows! He has that big smug on his face as if this is going to be an automatic win. He may win, but not easily... I hope I make you proud Freya and Teshou... her expressions did not convey her thoughts. Trinity and her opponent circle each other, reading each other's body language.

Heh he he he... I couldn't ask for a more perfect situation... Half the crowd is cheering for me thanks to the footage and I'm about to crush Valhalla's last hope. It may have taken several years but at last I'll finally climb up the ladder in Daedalus. Like I should have in the first place! He rushes blindingly fast with his shoulder.

[OOC: here goes... I hope this fight will make it worth while... I honestly do better with fights when I don't know what the other person is going to do next... regardless here goes...
I'll be doing this in parts so that everyone else will be able to post in between moves instead of one long thing at once]

"There's always the choice of following orders or not." Theo retorted. But it was good to know people could go to that...arena. These guys were his ticket in. And once he was there.....he'd...he'd what? Beat the s**t out of Chuck and risk Trinity getting mad at him for protecting her? Cross that bridge when I get there.

He looked at Ako who still looked a bit out of it but he had that drive. Same one he had at the moment. Just a guy willing to do anything to get his girl back safely. He could respect that. Theo gave him a nod.

"Alright, two things." He turned back to the guards." Take us there and tell me...or rather him," he pointed at Ako with his thumb over his shoulder." Where Gidget is. She should have been here but isn't. If you don't know....please look it up. Former head of Valhalla shouldn't just dissappear in here."

"And where the hell are my clothes?" Ako asked after Theo's demands. Again, he was glad someone had made to good decision to but him in scrubs instead of a hospital gown, so he looked more like an angry patient than a lunatic.

While they were circling Trinity had gotten a very good sense about what his next moves would be. As she made her move, it looked like it was too early but in reality it was just right. She dove for his left ankle. From the ground, while holding his ankle she leaped with her foot aimed for his upper back. Using the momentum to land the giant man on his chest while having him in a lock with his ankle. "Hah... you think it was going to be easy?! Did you think I only beat you before because 'I happen' to have the right power? In Case you've forgotten, I've trained with the best when it comes to martial arts and I've trained daily without the use of my power. Let's not forget our sparing sessions."

There may not have been mikes on them but it was easy to tell who had the upper hand at the moment.

Grrr... not again! I can't let it happen again! "I WON'T LET YOU WIN AGAIN!!!" He used his massive elbow aimed at her abdomen.

Heather could feel that something was about to happen. She looked toward Sara and made a motion with her head to say "I think we should clear out." She then slowly made her way out of the pool, being careful to make sure her wings covered any naughty bits.

Damien reached his small hand toward the water construct. "I think this'll be better." he suggested. "Take my hand, and we can get to know each other."
