Turning around and looking inside the room through the open door, Riena looked at Rakata with no emotion visible on her face whatsoever.

Alex walked up to Riena. "Whats wrong?" He said as he sat next to her.

"whats wrong Riena" Rakata asked. he was still armed, so he figured that might have something to do with it.
"and dont say nothing. my gift lets me do more than just speak mentally."

((where did Alex go?))

"It's just.. I'm ready for this to be over with. I'm thinking about leaving the academy and going home." she paused for a moment not looking at either of them. "This place used to be calm and quiet. Now you can't even find a teacher when you need one. Whoever carried me off when I collapsed earlier left a note in my hand when I woke up that said 'call your uncle'. I didn't and he's not so happy about what's going on."

Alex looked at the floor. "Times are hard, But we have to pull through them and prove your worth something!" Alex heard the front door burst open. "Rakata."

"it'll all be over soon Riena i promise." Rakata said reassuringly. putting his hand on her shoulder.
"i wont let anything happen to any of you. i called in these soldier to protect the school, more importantly, to protect all of you."

"Rakata don't strain yourself...I need to prve myself by getting rid of the men who just walked through the door." Alex in a flash in the main hall shooting at the men. He used his speed to dodge bullets. "Thats them all."

Jumping off of the railing Riena took off running eyes closed not even aware where she was going only focusing on making her legs run. How was it going to be "over"? How many more people would need to die and how many more people needed blood on their hands?

"Riena!" Rakata said as she ran. he dropped the bag with the armor in it and ran after her.

"I don't know why they're come here but we can leave if you wa-" A bullet peirced Alex's body as one of the soldiers on the ground dropped his gun.
"..Ugh...." Alex dropped to the ground.

Slowing down a little bit at a time Riena stopped and turned around not looking at Rakata. "Go to the others. I'm leaving." Riena paused her eyes watering. "Blood.. I smell blood." Wheeling back around and running past a dumbfounded Rakata, Riena summoned a large, deadly ice spear. Coming back to the school and seeing a pool of blood, Reina sent it through the heart of the person standing over top of a wounded Alex.
Keeping calm, she pulled him gently into her arms and iced over the wound to stop the bleeding.
"Tovah! Girl we need you! Tovah!" Riena yelled out.
