More Meteor Showers Bring Even Stranger Powers. (O/A)

It just remained silent as the shell cracked all over and got pulled outside of it's shadow body. The shadow itself dissipated. The shell itself was too damaged to keep itself alive.

Trinity's boyfriend didn't know what to think of this display. On one hand this version of her was just downright erotic but on the other hand, he didn't know if it was still his girl. The Trinity he knew wouldn't talk like that. Or even behave like that.

She reeled the shell into her right hand and sighed sadly. "No stamina at all. Such a disappointment."

Without much effort at all, she crushed the shell in her hand and let the pieces fall to the ground.

She looked over to Liv and pouted. "Awwww. You poor thing. Even with your stolen powers you still had your limb eaten by the shadows. Mmmmm. It would be a shame let a perfect specimen such as yourself remain tarnished."

In the blink of an eye, and a beat of her wings, the demon swooped upon Liv and brought her lips only a hair's length away from the blonde's.

She looked upon the woman with bedroom eyes and whispered, "I could bring it back. Just ask nicely."

Liv took a good look at this new Trinity. Despite the strangeness of it all, especially in this situation, she liked what she saw. Though normally big physical mutations turned her off, this time, the demoness was rockin it.

"No need for that, hot stuff." Liv replied staring the woman into her eyes and biting her lip. Oh the temptation to just kiss her right there.

She showed the stump of her hand. But it was no longer a stump. Bone, nerves, blood vessels, muscles, and skin were already being created to grow another hand. It wouldn't be long before it was brand new. Too bad she had to do her nails again.

Theonis let his power go and walked up to what used to be Trinity. She wouldn't flirt with Liv. No way. He came to his conclusion the moment he saw her do that. That ....voluptuous succubus of a woman, was not his girl. Though part of his wished that she still was Trinity. It would only increase the bragging rights. But he wouldn't just go for her. No, if anything Theonis was very loyal. Despite his playboy attitude, he took relationships seriously.

"I take it, it's over? You..... you're not Trinity, are you? What happened to her?"

"Ooooo. That is a neat trick." she complimented.

When Theonis spoke up, the demon peeked over her shoulder and bat her eyes.

"Still worried about your beloved when you have this before you? There should be more men like you in this world."

She turned and sauntered over to him, her hips swaying as she approached. "To answer your question, it is over. That shell gave me what I needed to take over her body. Mmmmmnnn, and what a body it is. I knew she was special from day one, but I didn't think this would be the result of our coupling."

She mocked Theonis with faux concern. "Sadly, she wont be coming back. This body is vastly more resilient to light then that horrid void form."

She reached out to Theonis to put her fingers to his chest. "But that doesn't mean we can't have some fu-"

Just as her finger made contact with Theonis, the demon felt a reverberating pain in her chest that rippled through her being. "UGHN!" She cried out as she gripped the area between her ample breasts.

Her vision became clouded and dark as she fell to her knees. That's when it dawned on her. The vial that Trinity had on her person was absorbed into the cocoon when the transformation took place. The demon had been poisoned.

"Heh...it looks like it is not quite over yet." she chuckled. She then collapsed on her side and rolled onto her back. Her form turned pitch black. The darkness melted off of her and drained into her shadow. Trinity's normal body lay naked, sweaty, breathless, and without a pulse.

Trinity let go of the dark heart and let the poison do its work, the demon shouldn't toy with her Theonis. She could sense something was wrong as it worked through the system. She knew what was the cause before the demon realized.

As the demon appeared in the process of waking. "I'm glad Ive got your attention." She lifted her chin and looked into her waking eyes with her brightly glowing green eyes. "Let me make one thing clear. You don't lay a finger on Theonis! Or so help me God I will crush your heart even if it kills me in the process!"

She took a moment to look at the form she took. Was this the form I was in just now? Her brows furrowed, It must have detected that I was jealous of Liv's body because of how he looked at her. Longer legs… perhaps because I remembered him mentioning he liked legs. This was part of her doing whether she wanted to admit it or not. She loved the body she was in it was her body that she had trained herself to be Valhalla's protector. Yet she felt lacking when standing next to Liv and having Theonis look at her. Keeping those thoughts to herself, she awaited for the demon to get on her feet. Taller than Trinity due to her long legs.

The demon shook her head and stood up. She looked down at her body and blushed. She quickly made a futile attempt at covering herself. Embarrassment was not an emotion she was used to, but her lengthy connection to Freya had introduced a lot of new emotions.

She looked down at Trinity and scolded, "You have some serious adequacy issues. This body is not fit for combat in the slightest."

"I would apologize for my behavior, but I am not in control of my actions after the madness takes over."

She looked over Trinity's shoulder and glanced at the first Trinity.

"Good, she is here. Just as I had intended."

"Listen carefully, because we only have until they revive you to complete the synthesis. You have to accept the connection to your ancestor. By doing so, her light will keep the madness at bay and allow us to co-exist without your mind and body being corrupted by the disease my brother afflicted me with."

Trinity did take note that she was trying to cover herself, while before she was flaunting what she got. Could it be an act? As she pointing out how the demon's current body is not built for combat she muttered, "… at least we agree on that…"

Trinity narrowed her eyes. Can she really trust this demon?
"How do I know by completing the synthesis isn't just another way to screw me over? You may blame it on a disease your brother bestowed upon you but it sounded rather sincere about wanting to keep my body and keep me out. How do I know that this isn't another attempt to get rid of me and for you to keep my body?"

"This stuff last 3 hours you have that much time to convince me why we should do this. They could try all they want but this stuff allows me to remain in this state until it wears off." Now that Valhalla is safe from the shadow threat she needed answers and hopefully Teshomaru or Freya could help. She couldn't continue blindly following the demon. She may have been throwing her life away earlier, feeling depressed about what she initially discovered about Gidget. Even in that frame of mind she knew it was foolish to listen to a demon and even felt a little uncertain about her decision at first.

The demon huffed in frustration. Not so much at Trinity, but more at the fact that the madness had made her something to be feared and distrusted.

"If I wanted to take your body, I'd be attacking you right now. That might still happen if we do not hurry. The shock of "dying" has staved off the madness for now. Do you think I would still be standing looking like this if I had any kind of power here?"

"I know my word mean nothing to you, so I will offer this. I will give you access to my memories. Your ancestor's light can peel away any lies, and you will see nothing but truth in my past."

"Please, Trinity. I have not always been like this. I, a being that has existed nearly as long as time itself, am begging for your aid. For my sake, and yours."

Trinity let out a short breath "Alright, but before we proceed you need to share some of these memories so that I have a better handle of whom I'm dealing with. If I were you I'd make your point quickly, and choose a few memories wisely to support it for now. As long as 3 hours is I don't think it's enough time to cover your whole lifetime right now. I'm sure things will fill in if we end up synthesizing."

Trinity felt she needed to be cautious she really needed to understand what exactly she was getting herself into.

The demon let out a sigh of relief. "I know just the one to start with."

The world around them bent and shifted to a horrific scene. Fire, dead bodies placed on pikes, and a man in a mask laughing maniacally over the fallen body of the first Trinity.

"This is where it started for your lineage." said the demon. Her body changed to reflect her appearance at the time of the memory. She took on the appearance of a pale woman in a black dress with hair that reached the ground. She was not particularly attractive, but it was a sign of the times. A more traditional beauty.

The man in the mask sank into the ground and left the first Trinity broken and alone. "This was the day I committed a grave taboo. I interfered with a mortal I had no pact with."

She looked over to the ancestor standing beside present day Trinity. "She did not know it at the time, but she was tethered by the chains of lineage as well. A Goddess' light. But I feared it would not be enough."

A dark figure arouse from the dancing shadows created by the flames. Though feminine in figure, she lacked any defining features outside of the bright gray eyes that shone from the "face."

The figure knelt beside the nearly catatonic Trinity. The eyes took a shape of pensive concern.

"I knew this would only be the beginning of that man's terror, and that he would stay hidden among the shadows to stay safe from the light. For her to succeed against the man who committed this atrocity, I concluded that she would need the assistance of those very shadows."

Theonis caught her as she fell. He slowly lowered her as he went on one knee and held on to her. Wiping a strand of hair out of her face he took a close look at her.

"Goddamnit you crazy woman. We are definitely going to have a good long talk about s**t like this." Theo said as he gave her a soft smile." You reckless idiot." But something felt off. Frowning he took a closer look at her chest. It wasn't moving. Quickly he checked for pulse. There was none.

"No no no, you are not doing this to me right now. We are not taking turns in dying damnit!" He immediately began CPR but without pressing her chest. Getting her heart to pump was something he could do more efficiently with his power. Larry couldn't be saved with it. But he sure as hell wasn't going to lose Trinity!

"Come on...stick with me".
